why do so many other LGBT people just not know what internalized homophobia/transphobia actually means???

i know that most of the people saying this are probably young and mean well but its not automatically 'internalized homophobia' whenever a queer person is homophobic/transphobic to another queer person. its just being homophobic and has the same or even more consequences as when a cishet person does it. it might be the result of internalized homophobia but as soon as you start externalizing it it just becomes normal bigotry imao.

and its rarely even 'lateral homophobia' because these people mostly target nonwhite/autistic/fat/gnc/uses uncommon labels or has a less accepted identity gay/trans people when they are none of those things and obviously think that means they are better then the rest of us.

its not that big of a deal but i feel like it can make people ignore the fact that homophobia/exclusionism from other queer people mostly affects people who are part of other minorities as well and can be equally based on other kinds of bigotry as it is in homophobia or transphobia. and it can honestly convince other people to feel sympathy for exclusionists/truscum that they really don't deserve or compare their 'internalised homophobia' to the experiences of queer people who've been actually harassed by their own community. like almost every queer person has internalized homophobia but most of us don't feel the need to be fucking assholes to people in our own community. ٩(◕‿◕)۶
