Asahi probably read a lot of comics as a kid, honestly, he was a quiet kid and he found superheroes pretty fascinating, he liked the thought of there being people out there strong enough to save whole cities, the whole world even. He was the sort of kid who really admired them, envied how strong they were-and also loved when you got to see them a bit vulnerable, see them almost more human, it helped him feel a little better about his own flaws.

I HAVE SO MANY FOR THESE TWO because I love these two weirdos so much.

Okay, so:

- Suga is addicted to competitive cooking reality TV and he always gets too attached to the underdog, even when it’s obvious they’re not going to make it the next round, and Oikawa has to actually comfort his boyfriend when his favourite contestant is voted out because ‘it’s not fair, Tooru’, ‘THE JUDGE WAS CLEARLY BIASED’, ‘I’m going to post something on their facebook page because what’s the point if the entire show is rigged’. HE CARES SO MUCH.

- I’m trying very hard not to do anything alien or space related for Oikawa because it’s almost cheating, but fuck it: He has an 'I WANT TO BELIEVE’ t-shirt Iwa-chan bought him when he was like 14 years old, it clearly doesn’t fit him anymore and has at least five different holes. Doesn’t matter. He didn’t talk to Suga for at least two hours when Suga suggested maybe he throw it out.

- Suga can’t sing - he’s completely tone-deaf (okay so stretching for this one because his VA can absolutely sing but HEADCANON so I do what I want) but that does nothing to dampen his enthusiasm from singing in the shower every morning. Oikawa thinks it’s adorable. Iwaizumi heard it one morning when he came over to pick Oikawa up and asked him 'what the fuck is that’, and Oikawa told him he was a brute who clearly didn’t understand the finer art of singing.

- Suga doesn’t play college volleyball, mostly leaving that behind him while he moves onto other things, but somewhere down the track he starts playing again casually, just on the weekends. And his team makes it to the town finals and everyone does a double-take to see Oikawa Tooru, rising professional star player, sitting in the crowds and enthusiastically cheering for the setter.

- Oikawa is highly superstitious has a thousand different little good-luck rituals before any big match - wears the same socks, paints his finger and toe nails in team colours, has to kiss Suga exactly eighteen times before going out onto the court.
