“My Sapphire…”

Padparadscha Sapphire is a rare, royal gem who remains loyal to Pink Diamond to this day despite her shattering through the hands of a certain rebel gem. Much like average sapphires, Padparadscha possesses future vision, and was forced to bear witness to the shattering of her diamond before it had even occurred. She was sent to Earth before then for her safety before the planet was ravaged by war, and she remains miraculously unscathed and wandering to this day. Due to fear and an instinct to preserve her own life, she often lies about her visions when encountered if necessary.

Padparadscha Sapphire lacks the ability to manipulate ice, but makes up for it with botanokinesis (the manipulation of plants). She is significantly shorter than most gems, standing at a petite 2″7. While she is an incredibly joyous, upbeat gem, she finds it incredibly difficult to interact others and will often behave abrasively to drive them away. She firmly sticks to trusting both her gut and her visions in any situation.

finally caved to temptation and made a fan gem! Her name is Chrysotile*. She works under Yellow Diamond as a chemical engineer, but there are really several strata** of management between her and the top.

*chrysotile (chris-oh-teel) is also called “white asbestos”. I’ve never handled a sample that wasn’t in a little plastic baggie or outside of a lab, and nether should you.

Coral is a stone that represents fertility plus its a great shape for her stretch marks 😍
