♫ ???:

Revealing things to each other so quickly had to be weird, but Hibiki didn’t expect the girl’s sudden outburst at her appearance. But because of the situation they were in, Hibiki attempted to hold back her slight amusement and focus on the problem at hand. 

“Right!” At the girl’s sudden focus back on the monsters, Hibiki considered her own next move. They could ask questions later. Hibiki kept her eyes on the girl as she offered a follow-up attack to the one Hibiki aimed at herself earlier. There were a lot of them, coming into the stadium all at once. With their sizes, and unknown amount of power, how would they end up faring against these things?

“I won’t lose to the burden and the destiny contained within this power I hold!” 

Hibiki continued to sing, keeping her eyes on any of the others that were now beginning to close the gap between them all. Yet, as she took a look around, she began to notice something odd. The other strange beings began to stutter within their steps, almost as if they were beginning to have trouble walking towards them. “…What’s going on?” She said out loud to herself, wondering if the girl herself had noticed anything different about how they were reacting.

Even so, maybe they should use this to their advantage. Hibiki herself didn’t have any long ranged attacks, but maybe this girl did?  “Hey! Maybe we can try pushing them all down. One of us attack their legs while the other attacks higher!” Now she wasn’t certain if that would work, due to the sheer number of them, but if they were suddenly having trouble like this, then maybe it will be easier to defeat them. Besides, it’s much easier (and maybe quicker?) to take one on together than individually fighting each one on their own.

❝  WAIT! WAIT!   ❞     She definitely wasn’t crazy, those things began to act erratically just when the other appeared. It couldn’t be a coincidence, it sure had to be with how the brunette (clad in ehm... spandex?) was constantly singing while engaging them, it didn’t happen at all when it was just Gelato the one fighting. A wild idea shone brightly on her mind’s eye as she got up again, summoning an ice guitar and a pick. 

❝  AHH!!  ❞    Aoi practically roared as she violently played the first power chord that rushed to her consciousness, the distorsion felt crushing as the infinite team of sounds that compose a chord travelled throughout the stadium. Potent enough to make the ground she was stepping on tremble. 

At least three of the steel giants succumbed into a temporary (and luckily short) madness before ending up as nothing worthier than a mountain of junk, destroying a good chunk of architecture while doing so.  

In a sense, she was relieved to have figured out their weakness but at the same time it... it didn’t make any sense at all. The questions kept piling up and it was starting to become too much for her young brain to handle. Still, what needed to be done had to be done. 

Still, her excitement about playing music quickly overcame any of those feelings. Almost every one of her worries seemed to disappear with a guitar on her hands, gloved this time. The blue precure opened her legs to place herself more firmly on the ground, her right hand was begging for her to start rocking those strings and her tail wasn’t helping to hide it as well.     ❝   Keep singing!!  ❞

♫ PIXI:

Straining under the pressure—this thing was really determined to get these vines off, but Pixi was stronger and even more stubborn—the pixie kept a firm hold on the plants, trying to keep their opponent in the same place for as long as possible so her partner could do her thing. Whatever that was, anyway; hopefully, something that could finally beat back this monster, because Pixi was sure the vines weren’t gonna cut it forever. 

However, it looked like that thing would happen now; still forcing the vines in one place, Pixi watched as the other girl jumped onto the monster’s back with a big wand that reminded her of a ‘candy cane’. She’d only ever seen them in pictures, but it was clearly what the other was going to use to wrap up their fight.

After the rain of ice stormed down on their foe ( luckily none of it hitting Pixi; she hated cold, and definitely wouldn’t appreciate getting hailed on by friend or enemy ), she felt the vines slack, and she was able to let them go; there was clearly nothing more for her to do. Instead, she watched the lioness wrap the monster in what looked like cream before a small being popped out and flying away, to which Pixi raised a slender blonde brow. 

Figuring she could ask about that later, she grinned at the other girl and let the vines ebb away, fading into the grass without a trace. “That was amazing! How’d you do that?”

The lioness assented on that remark, it was awesome and, to be honest, she couldn’t get enough of being a precure although most of the time it ended up more like a job rather than a hobby... Well, it was never meant to be a hobby anyways.        ❝  With kirakiraru!  ❞     The blunette replied almost automatically, her brain was too straightforward to think of another answer in that exact moment. 

The silence that overtook the space between them as she started to realize that was the vaguest explanation possible she could give was enough to overwhelm the noise surrounding them. 

A deep sigh accompanied with a shameful grimace was her way to break the little ice that was starting to arise amidst the two. She could have definitely given a better response        ❝  ... I guess it would take a longer explanation to get it.  ❞     And, being honest, the amount of people gathering around the pair of superheroes was now considerable and everything the singer wished at that moment was to get back to her normal life and eat something. Dying from starvation wouldn’t be a nice fate for a precure. 

❝  Hey! What if we split up then meet again in civilian forms? I want to know why you look like a yousei. ❞

♫ KYOKO:

Once their dance was over, the red magi, too, leaned against the metal bar and was catching her breath. It wasn’t that often she got to play on the hardest mode, challenges were always her forte. “Heh, hell yeah! You’re a worthy opponent if I do say so myself… Name’s Kyoko. What about you?”

❝ AOI! I barely hit as many notes as you, though. ❞      She replied with the little air she have regained at that moment, turning around to lean her back against the pole. Staring still excited at the redhead.       ❝  Do you come often here? You are incredibly good, really!  ❞

Hey, civilians everyone!

The PRETTY CURE fandom is looking for some NEW BLOOD to revitalize it! We are a pretty small yet passionate and friendly group of writers and we definitely wouldn’t mind more talented people here!

For those who aren’t familiar with the franchise, Pretty Cure is a long-running magical girl series from Toei Animation. It’s a superhero metaseries with a wide cast of lovable personages, feel-good antics and fantastic battles throughout its FOURTEEN seasons, so you have a LOT of material to pick up from. (The current season is called KiraKira Precure A La Mode.)

If that sounds like your jazz and you’re willing to dive into a place full of potential for fun threads, characterization, headcanons and gags, WE ARE WELCOMING EVERY PRECURE CHARACTER FROM ANY OF THE SEASONS.

♫ PIXI:

“Sure!” It wouldn’t be a difficult task normally, but this monster was annoyingly good at simply bursting out of the plants she wrapped around its chest; it didn’t take much effort at all for it to break out of her hold, but maybe if she used a sneak attack and caught it off guard…Keeping its attention on the writhing vines that were whipping around its arms and torso, Pixi subtly caused a large vine to snake under the soil behind it.

While the monster was occupied with the vines attacking it from the front, it didn’t notice the large one behind it, which curled itself around their opponent’s legs, much to the creature’s surprise. With it caught off-guard, Pixi was able to take the opportunity to wrap its arms in vine, tying them to its chest as tightly as she could. “There!”

Gelato keeped her eyes over the device’s container, trying to sneak around while waiting for it to gather enough energy to obliterate the thing in one strike. Luckily, it would be enough to defeat it once for all. How proficiently the other seemed to maneuver with those vines was a sight to behold by itself. Just who was she? She didn’t look like a precure at all. 

Almost as if they were in sync, the lioness reached the foe’s back without it noticing, the Candy Rod began to shine filled with kirakiraru and her companion successfully incapacitated it. Show time.      ❝  Gotcha!  ❞   

KIRAKIRARU ☆ GELATO SHAKE !

A literal stream of shattered ice was summoned upon an energetic gesture, fiercely charging towards the enemy still trying to escape her green prison. Leaving almost no time for it to even react. The strike was heavy enough to leave it weakened and off balance. Skillfully using her Pact’s mixer, the blunette drew out copious amounts of the cream-like kirakiraru it stored, shaping it into an sphere and confining her target. 

Shine imbued that said ball and exploded in sparkles, leaving nothing but the small fairy now uncorrupted... violently fly away. The danger was over.

♫ ???:

Hibiki assumed the girl was just a regular civilian, so getting her to a safe distance was the best thing to do. Taking care of something so giant was a task within itself. So to hear the girl say she’ll take care of them herself surprised the teenager, seeing her run off before she could protest. 

It would be dangerous so what was she—? “She…transformed?” Who exactly was this girl? Hibiki stood there, a bit more confused than she would have liked, but quickly forced herself to snap out of her mental block. She couldn’t let this girl fight these strange beings alone.  Hibiki placed her hand right over her heart, feeling the relic pressing up against her palm. And with no hesitation, she began to sing—

’Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron.’

Leaving this girl to attack all these enemies by herself wasn’t an option, so once she felt herself clad in Gungnir, Hibiki immediately moved to follow suit. The monster she threw her attack at did seem affected, but Hibiki wasn’t so sure about the others. 

“The determination to break through a single point in my right hand is in this song of mine.”

As she sang, Hibiki positioned herself to drive one of the other monsters with a right hook. They were tall, so using her boosters was common sense.

But of course, simply punching them with her regular pistons wouldn’t do much, so she made sure to prepare the brace over her knuckles, giving her punch more power to at least push it further back. “We can work together!!” Hibiki yelled in the girl’s direction but kept her eyes on the enemies. How unreal (yet real??) this felt. 

Feline ears twitched as soon as they heard a melodious and familiar voice. This whole thing was getting more and more... random, being honest. The scene unfolding before her very eyes as soon as she turned around towards the source vanished completely every bit of tension she had. Eyes comically opened beyond normal human limits (although was she human even to begin with while she was in precure form?) in complete, utter astonishment.   ❝  E-EH?!!!!! What the heck is...?!  ❞

... What was she wearing?

If it weren’t for the sudden tremble she felt while standing on the ground, obviously provoked by all those gigantic things breaking in and literally falling apart sections of the stadium as they held to its borders, the blue precure would have remained in that dazed state for more vital seconds. She quickly shook off that feeling. If they didn’t do something they would end up in a terrible pinch. 

❝  Let’s go!  ❞     Gelato immediately covered her fists in ice and jumped towards the same foe her companion was targeting. No way they were going to be able to get rid of every one of them at the same time. Her first strike (directed towards its ‘face’) was powerful enough to subtly make it fall back... yet at the price of her hand’s cover to shatter due to the impact. She was going to be completely useless as this rate if things kept their course. What were they going to do?

The lioness frowned at something that crossed her mind as she was falling towards the ground again, was she crazy or the enemies were moving slower since the other party began to sing?
