The terrifying mask that Edward Paisnel, “The Beast of Jersey”, would wear as he broke into the homes of his unsuspecting victims where he would proceed to rape the women and children. He was charged with 13 counts of assault, rape, and sodomy, but it is believed that he abused many other children; there are even reports of him breaking into a childres home that was owned by his mother-in-law, where he would then drug and sexually assault the children.

High Quality pictures of Jim Jones’ house in Jonestown, Guyana
A small cat wanders around a refrigerator in the bedroom of Jim Jones in Jonestown, Guyana. Guyana’s government officials found great quantities of drugs in Jones’ house, isolated from most camp dwelling by 100 yards of lawn and peanut patches.

The Witherell House, “cursed by death” according to local legend, has some surprising connections to Jeffrey Dahmer, the formation of the Wisconsin Territory, and a disturbing practice of divine healing from the Middle Ages.
Read about it here.

13-year-old Tammie Anne McCormick has not been seen since the morning of April 29, 1986, in Saratoga Springs, New York. That morning, she missed her morning bus to school and told her sister that she was going to hitchhike. While it is not confirmed whether she really hitchhiked or not, she never made it to school and hasn’t been seen since. At first, Tammie was not reported missing until two days after she was last seen. The reason she was not reported missing sooner was that she would sometimes stay over a friends house and not come home for a day, but once it was realized that she wasn’t at a friends house and hadn’t been attending school, panic began to set in.
Friends of Tammie claimed that she had told them that she was planning on running away to Florida. However, many do not believe this theory, as Tammie took no extra clothing and was wearing clothes that were either worn out or uncomfortable. There have been reported sightings of Tammie not only in Florida but also in Maine, Massachusetts, California, and Vermont. Unfortunately, none of these sightings could be confirmed by law enforcement. Authorities believe that she was killed by Arthur Mason Slaybaugh II, a corrections officer in Wilton, New York who Tammie had a great admiration for and considered a mentor. After law enforcement interviewed numerous people, they concluded that instead of hitchhiking to school, Tammie actually went to Slaubaugh’s house, which was situated near Saratoga Lake. Despite the new leads, the case seems to have gone cold and remains unsolved.
Tammie Anne McCormick was 13 years old at the time of her disappearance, stood at 5'5" (165 cm) and weighed 108 pounds (48 kg). Tammie has light brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a homemade tattoo or scar on her upper left arm of her initials; T.A.M. She was last seen wearing a denim jacket, black corduroy pants, a yellow striped shirt, and beige boots. Some agencies give her date of disappearance as April 19, 1986. If alive, Tammie would be 46 years old, however, foul play is suspected in her case.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Tammie Anne McCormick, please contact the Saratoga Springs City Police Department at 518-584-1800.
