Azutara Superhero AU - Incorrect quotes #2
Katara and Azula have the tv on while doing homework. The news show Blue Flame's (Azula) most recent attack.
Katara (rolling her eyes): Ugh, you know, people wouldn't let her get away with so much stuff if it wasn't for the fact that they are hot.
*Azula.exe stopped responding.*

okay, i've had a moment to collect my feelings and,
this movie looks so unprofessional like...
blue light is being cast on her hair from the portal that is clearly not casting a blue light on the environment.
the creeper is backlit by a soft blue light, while this goober is clearly backlit by a harsh white light.
also, the whole thing is backlit! nobody has light on their face in this trailer!
even here, you can clearly see the light is behind everyone, but they are supposedly facing eachother!?
why does this look like this!? why even bother with live action actors when the whole movie is animated!? and don't even get me started on the animation.
there's nothing technically wrong with the models... but it all looks so "minceraft mobs if dey wur reel!!1!"
i swear i saw this same sheep render in, like 2015.

someone I follow on the bird app just announced they’re starting a very exclusive private fic server because they and a bunch of other people want to talk about how much they love the fics they’re reading, and as an author can I just say that a really great place to talk about a fic you love is in the comments for that fic
I understand that people are trying to create safe spaces, but as the number of comments that I get on my fics dwindles with each passing year, knowing these spaces exist where my fics are being discussed, places that I am excluded from, makes me want to write fic LESS
I mean I guess who cares, right, because if I stop writing, there’s 10,000 other people that will continue…but if you participate in a fic “book club” server and you say nice things there about a fic you loved, maybe copy and paste that into a comment on AO3?
the only thing fanfic writers are asking for in return for hours of hard work is attention. please don’t rob us of the one thing that we hope for when we hit “post”

Azutara Superhero AU - Incorrect Quote #1
Tidal Wave (Katara): Ugh, why do you always dodge my punches and never hit back?!
Blue Flame (Azula): Cause your frustrated face is so cute.
Tidal Wave: Wait, you think I'm cute.
Blue Flame (thanking that her mask hides her blush): I never said that.
Tidal Wave: Yes you did.
Blue Flame: Nuh-huh

Azutara Superhero AU - Double Trouble
Both girls were sitting next to each other on the sofa, lots of books spread out across the coffee table and floor, and a laptop on each of their laps.
"Were you able to understand any of what Mr. Simmons said in class?" Katara asked.
"Nope." Azula responded, exaggerating it with a popping sound.
A few seconds later someone opened the mansion's door. "Hey, Azula. Did you get the take out?" That someone was Zuko.
Katara seemed to not be able to hear his voice as she was deep in the essay they were writing.
"Wasn't your turn today, Zuzu?"
He groaned. "No, it was yours, and how many times do I have-"
Katara now heard him. "Wait, Zuzu?" She turned around with a raised eyebrow, and giggling. "Oh, the rest of the gang will love to hear that."
Zuko's eyes went wide as he saw who the other girl was.
Azula looked between the two. "Do you know each other?"
Zuko realized how he looked, so he shook his head, cleared his throat, and calmed down. "Katara, I wasn't aware you knew Azula. And please," he glared at Azula, "don't call me "Zuzu"."
"Yeah, we met..." She tried to come up with a believable excuse. "through my brother. They are studying the same, just like us." That was easy, since it wasn't totally a lie.
Zuko pinched the bridge of his nose. "Right... you both are minoring in political science." He sighed, took a deep breath, and turned around. "Well, if you need me, I'll be in my room." He walked away. "And Azula, please order the take out soon, I'm starviiiing."
She rolled her eyes. "Alright..."
Katara turned to Azula. "Did he look a bit weird to you?"
She shrugged it. "Nah, just typical Zuzu behaviour."
Katara chuckled at the nickname before returning to the essay.

Azutara Superhero AU - Drabble
"Can we finish this quickly? I have a date in an hour, and I really don't want to miss it." Blue Flame (open to better names ^^') had caught Tidal-Wave fist.
She chuckled with a raised eyebrow. "You? A date? Please," she rolled her eyes, "you really are running out of excuses."
The villain frowned and kicked the hero 15 feet away. She rested her hands on her hip. "I would love to keep kicking your ass and for you to keep mocking me, but this date is really real, and I won't miss it." She created a fire wall, that hid her sprinting away.
Tidal-Wave sighed, amused by it. "That girl really is something." She looked at her phone, and her eyes went wide, her legs running before her brain gave the order. "I'm late for the study session with Azula!"
===============================
Katara rang the bell to Azula's mansion. She was grabbing her knees and panting.
A chuckle. "Did you run a marathon to get here or what?" Azula asked amused.
"No, it's just that the way here is so-" She stopped when seeing her. Azula was wearing a red blouse, with some high-waisted white jeans. Stunning by itself, and even more compared to Katara's hoodie and blue jeans.
She came back to the doorway when she felt something moist in her red cheeks.
"There, and it's gone." Azula had cleaned up a spot of soot that was on Katara's cheek.
Her blush got deeper as she got a hand on her cheek. "Oh, thanks." She whispered, her blue eyes staring at those amber eyes that combined so well with her outfit.
Azula coughed. "So, are you coming inside?" She said, hiding her own blush by turning around.
"Umm... Yes, yes." She followed her.

Azutara Superhero AU:
The characters are studying at Republic City University.
Azula is the daughter of the tech billionaire Ozai (last name suggestions are welcome), her major is in business with a minor in political science.
Katara, daughter of South Pole Chief, Hakoda, is majoring in Political Science. (Suggestions for majors are welcome, nothing that sucks life, I don't want to kill them with the double life.)
They met in PolSci classes, and their strong personalities soon clashed, but quickly they became friends. At some point, Azula invites her to her mansion, and that's when Katara realizes that Azula is Zuko's sister.
And to the dread of Zuko he has to discover if Azula discovered his new friend's secret identities or not.

Superhero AU where Katara and Azula have this kind of superhero/supervillain rivals dynamic where they test each others morals, principles and motives constantly.
Azula starts as a villain, who is slowly pulled to the good side by a hero Katara.
Katara on the other hand is a hero who is slowly growing disillusioned with the system. And once she discovers bloodbending it all goes downhill.
When their paths get closer, will they be able to help each other? Or will they pull them to the darkness?
#I don't think I'll write a proper fic about it#but if someone asks for drabbles or one shots#I'll be happy to write#atla#superhero au#azula#katara#azutara#kazula

THE FROSTBURN PRINCESS Chp. 1
Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. But all of this changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar master of all four elements could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. Almost a hundred years have passed since then.
Nine years ago, my mom was killed and my sister kidnapped by the Fire Nation. Ever since, I had to help my dad and Gran Gran in the village, together with my friend, Atka.
Two years ago, my father left our village with the rest of the men to help in the fight against the Fire Nation, and to look for my sister. And I still hope, and believe somehow, that I'll be able to see her again one day.
Nine years ago, I was saved by the Fire Nation, and adopted by the royal family. Ever since, I've been trained and raised by Fire Lord Ozai.
Two years ago, my brother was banished, our uncle going with him.
Now, my father's sent me on a mission to make sure that their loyalties haven't strayed away. I hope that I can help him in his pursuit of capturing the Avatar, and finally bring him back home.
The first chapter of "The Frostburn Princess" is out!!!
Basically, a 'what if Katara was kidnapped by the Fire Nation as a 5 year old, and adopted by Ozai.'
A million thanks to @quintessentialclara for beta reading it!

Little sneak peek of the fic I'm working on :D
Context: The were sparring
He looked at it, but scoffed and turned away to get himself up. “You were just lucky.” He murmurs. Katara frowned, angrily. What had he said?. “Lucky? Lucky?!” As soon as he was up, she pushed him to the wall, her forearm against his neck. She didn’t care how much she was pressing on, just that he was able to listen. “Listen here, brother. I’m not the one who was born on royalty. I’m not the one who was borned talented with their bending.” She whispered between her teeth. “I had to train hard everyday to go toe to toe against you two, to meet father’s expectations. I had to train everyday to gain the respect of all these people under us. I wasn’t lucky.” Her glare could cut steel, and it was definitely getting engraved on Zuko’s eyes. “I am skilled. And that’s why. I. defeated. you. Understood?” Zuko was keeping an intense glare at his sister, grunting, and starting to struggle for air. He opened his mouth. “That’s enough! Both of you!” Their uncle's voice resonated against the wall.

The Bleeding Princess - Family Reunion pt. 2
[Prev][Masterlist][Next] Thanks to @quintessentialclara for proofreading this part!
“I would say it’s been too short of a time.” He says before turning around, starting to walk away.
“Oh, come on, Zuko. It isn’t like father had sent Azula.” Katara gets close to him and pinches his cheek, which makes him snap at her as he attempts to attack the girl with a fire fist. She just jumps to the side and grabs his wrist, pinning it behind his back, causing the prince to grunt. “And I really thought that we were on good terms.” She whispers.
Before Zuko can respond, Iroh interrupts with a cough. “My niece, to what do we owe the pleasure?”
Katara releases Zuko’s wrists and chuckles. “Well, father wanted to check on the status of your mission, and your wellbeing. That’s all. Obviously he wouldn’t just send any old captain.”
Zuko keeps a glare on her as he stretches his arm. “As you can see, we are doing fine. We’re actually making progress.” Zuko walks past her.
Katara raises an eyebrow. “Really?”
Zuko stops, staring at her over his shoulder. “I’m guessing you were able to see the beam of light earlier.”
Katara puts a hand on her hip and chuckles. “Really, Zuko? Some spirit lights got you this excited?” She rolls her eyes.
“That’s what I told him!” Iroh exclaims.
Zuko growls and turns towards his uncle. “You stay out of this, uncle.” He turns to Katara, who was slowly walking towards him, her face now softer.
Once a foot away from him, she asks. “Is it really that important to you?” Not a hint of sarcasm accompanies it.
Zuko’s glare relaxes for a moment, before he turns around. “Why would you care? You weren’t the one who lost father’s favor.”
She softly places a hand on his shoulder. “I care, because you’re my brother, and we’ve been worried ever since your banishment.”
“Who is ‘we’? As far as I’m concerned daddy’s little princess doesn’t give two coins about me” Zuko pulls away from her hand.
“Even if she doesn’t express it in a…” she thinks of a word, “typical way. She does care about you, Zuko.”
The prince lowers his head for a bit, eyes shut. Azula always lies, but he never knows with Katara. The boy takes a deep breath and starts walking to his personal quarters. “Lieutenant, keep course to the nearest tribe as soon as the princess’ ship lets us pass.”
Katara sighs and turns to her uncle. “As you said, it has been two long years, you have to give him some time.” He says, placing a hand on her shoulder.
She looks at his hand with a smile, placing hers over his. “I know, uncle.” She closes her eyes for a moment, then turns to her ship. “Captain Kayo! Retract the bridge and follow the prince’s ship. We’ll be escorting and aiding in his mission.”
“As you order, princess.” He bows, before giving the orders to the crew.
Katara smiles and turns to her uncle once again. “So, do you think we could have a game of Pai Sho over some tea?”
Iroh smiles back at her. “Of course, we can.”
