I just finished a large (unnecessary) set of animations for the prototype so I thought I would celebrate by retexturing the soda machines to be TaB machines. Which I only now learned stopped being a thing in 2020

ello mr. tyler mon, just curious, do u have any plans for games after ZoomQuest gets published? i'd like to hear what you got in store soon

Of course I've got plans to keep making games after I'm done with zoomquest. I can't imagine hanging up the towel on a hobby like that lmao.

I'm not going to be jumping right into some direct sequel to zoomquest or something like that. Because of how zoomquest ends, it would kinda feel like this:

I wouldn't want to make something that ruins the ending of zoomquest, y'know?

A lot of my "post zoomquest" ideas aren't super fleshed out since I spend most of my time thinking about making video games on zoomquest. So a lot of them are pretty rudimentary like, make "a game" that has the aesthetic of these really cool snowy nighttime photos I really like.

or make a non-linear stage based game where you have to collect things like power stars in super mario 64 except it's not a platformer so you're just solving puzzles and doing things based on the level's theme.

Or even, make a "rpg for idiots" where status effects and equipment are a lot more important so it wouldn't just be a numbers game. It also takes place in modern day so you could have regular everyday items do funny things like having soda increase your mana and speed or hot food inflicting a burning status effect on yourself. That second half was inspired by bbq-quest, but how could I not get inspired by this

Of course I also have around a million random ideas for stories and characters that don't really have any game attached to them yet. So again, nothing really that fleshed out.
