He smiled at her words, grateful that she said it was all his. He would have shared...or at least he would have tried to share...

Taking massive bites, he watched her continue to cook and was once again enthralled. How was it that people just... knew... how to make delicious things? His problem was that hew as never patient enough to wait...

"Absolutely." he said between mouthfulls as an idea dawned on him.

"Hey, would you want to join my crew?"

Not only was she an amazing cook, but she was a great story teller! Maybe... maybe she would want to take an adventure of her own out on the sea?

"Of course it's all for you! I can't have the future king of the pirates going hungry can I?" Jo insisted. "That's your plate." She promised. "I'm going to make some for me."

She cracked a handful of eggs into the pan and made a much smaller omelets then his own. "Feel better?"

His eyes widened astronimically as she leaned in. He took a step back and almost stumbled to the ground. Even though he had just kissed her, he was still conscious of personal space after all... Or at least he knew he should be.

Her grin had him relax though as he braced himself against the crates behind him. "Nigori?" He repeated, the word tasting like clouds on his tongue.

He smiled when she returned his hat and ran to give her a hug at her words. What was that concept about personal space again? Oh well, it would be something he could try and remember later.

"Im so glad your enjoying the celebration! "

She couldn't help the soft laugh that fell from her lips. Had it been any other man to kiss her she'd have been horrified, but something about Luffy made her feel like it had been more childish curiosity than anything else.

A playful grin pulled over her lips as she leaned in a bit, eyes dancing slightly as she countered. "Did you try the Nigori thinking that it was milk?" From the flush on his cheeks, it did look as though he'd consumed alcohol and that he wasn't used to it.

Reaching down she plucked his hat from the ground where it had fallen while he'd kissed her. Slipping it back onto his dark locks she added. "This is the first celebration in twenty years I've been able to enjoy thanks to you and your crew Luffy."

He withdrew his prizes and made his way back to the table, a slab of cheesecake already in his awaiting mouth.

"Or... or next time i can wake everyone and we can have a feast! Nothing like a team building feast!" He said between mouthfulls as he finished his treat and began to move onto the chicken leg now dangling in his grasp.

"Of course, you forgot." He muttered under his breath even as he made a mental note to check the pantry later. There was no way Luffy made it through the whole night without eating after all, which meant he'd probably raided their provisions.

Rolling his eyes at the shouted excitement from his captain, who he swore had half of his body now in the ice box. "Next time you get hungry in the middle of the night look there!"

He couldnt keep the grin off of his face.

What started out as a challenge from Nami that he was sure she didnt think he would actually take (she should know better...), soon turned into... well.

Still swinging by his knees, he reached forward to cup her cheeks in his hands. Her blush was soft and matched his own.

When she kissed his nose, he swung forward and kissed hers back, the smile only growing.

"That was nice." He replied finally, still holding her face.

He was ridiculous, but clearly she didn’t mind as she grinned, moving to press her lips to his. The kiss was rather simple or it started out that way. Hands lifted to cup his face and she deepened the kiss, smiling against his lips as she did so. When she pulled away she was a little breathless and hoped he was too. She was blushing as she stole another kiss, giggling as she then kissed the tip of his nose.

“Hey,” she breathed, smiling.

He grinned and wrapped his arm around his newest crew member.

"This is Saburo! Hes going to join us and become a Straw Hat Pirate!" He said matter of factly, giving his shoulder a squeeze.

At Zoro's comment about the marienes, he also added detail.

"Yeah, they were everywhere. But im sure they wont be a problem anymore. They have bigger things to worry about."

He looked out to the sea with longing and then back to his crew.

"A boat. Thats exactly what we came here for! Can you introduce us to Kaya?"

"Ah... It's okay, you were doing a very selfless and heroic act." He quickly followed Luffy to the meeting point, having put all his plants he wanted to take with him in the bag he carried. "Luffy, who's this?" The red-haired navigator asked. "My apologies for being late... He was saving me from the Marines, it was very kind and brave of him to interfere." Saburo offered. "The Marines?" Zoro asked. "They've been encroaching on this town more and more, thought I did something to their brother, but I never knew him. If you're looking for a ship, Kaya's the person to talk to." The medicine man offered.

He let out a snort at her story of the pineapple tree. Whoever would be dumb enough to steal a tree... and to get stuck in the mud???

"I would have loved to see that." He replied with a grin as his eyes widened at the plate set before him.

"Its all for me?!" He added, now looking at his cook with a look of adoration.

"You... you didnt want any did you?" He quickly added before he picked up his fork.

Jo ticked off the answers to his questions on her fingers, "From my mother, Everything, and forever it feels like."

She plated up the ham, and the omelet together and handed it to him with a fork and knife dig in.

"Stories stories stories... hmmm. I once had a man try to steal one of the pineapple trees from the greenhouse. He had gotten it dug up and in a wheelbarrow and had made it to the sand on the beach but it was so heavy, and he was so heavy he sunk into the sand. And he decided to do this in the middle of the night so he was stuck untill I found him in the morning!" she laughed at the memory.

I'm finally getting to you, sorry it took me so long but it's really nice to meet you and I'm looking forward to write with you. I've been out of the One Piece fandom for a while but slowly getting back into it so I'm really hyped for any One Piece Blog I find, especially from the straw hats.

One Piece has been dear to me since the day the anime came out here in my country and I've been a fan since then. Therefore it's alway great to find new people who also enjoy this story and it's characters. And since the live-action show, many new people seem to have hopped on board (pun intended)

How far into the anime are you right now? And are you reading the manga too? <<

and well... to be completely honest... i have not watched the anime or read the manga... I saw the live action and LOVED it. I have a friend who told me about it and i was hooked!

I am open to spoilers and am down to plot anything! i may just need a few things to catch me up haha but absolutely excited to write!

"Thanks! " He replied with a grin, admiring the gift that he had been given. It was quite a delicate item and he found himself worrying that he would crush it... break it. He would have to take extra care of it, just like his beloved straw hat.

"We should get going, Nami only gave me thirty minutes and im sure we have exceeded that time by like... a lot." He added, his grin turning lopsided as he thought about his crew mate and how she could get if he was late...

"Really?" He replied, his face showing the shock he felt. He would be punched? Maybe Zoro was right after all and surprise kisses were not something that everyone enjoyed...

"Sorry, I didnt mean to offend you." He said as he reached up, grabbed the branch with his hand and swung down to land on his feet. "I thought about that, but I had a feeling she might have been the one to punch me..."

His response was so nonchalant that she couldn't help but roll her eyes at the swinging captain. How her empress had fallen in love with him was beyond her. True he was strong and could be serious when need be, but this almost childlike side to him just wasn't her cup of tea. "Our empress also has nice lips, please try her's next time."

Reaching up she flicked him in the forehead before pushing him so that he'd swing out of her way. Easily slipping past him before adding over her shoulder. "Also, most women will punch you if you randomly kiss them with no warning."

He knew this was probably frowned upon. He had brought the idea up to Zoro and Zoro had said as much... But he was sure that it would be funny and others would find it as enjoyable. Plus... He had the special milk that Nami had given him adn well, things just seemed a little more funny at the moment.

He wasnt sure who it was that he just kissed. All he knew was that one minute he was climbing a tree and the next he was dangling off a branch by his legs and a blue haired woman passed by. Perfect!

"Immensely! " He replied with a grin. "Are you?"

Even when she'd been Komurasaki she hadn't kissed men freely. Her station and position within the capital as the highest-ranked Geisha had provided her with a level of immunity to what many of the other women where expected to freely give when paid the correct amount. Yet it wasn't something that, like most women of Wano, she was foreign to or saw as a very intimate act. Those years of being exposed to the world of seduction and allure had desensitized her.

So when Luffy's lips were suddenly upon hers she laughed instead of smacking him the way she was sure most others would have. "Are you enjoying the celebration we threw?" While it had been told to the public that it was for their freedom from the Beast Pirates, it was also secretly in honor of their allies and all that they had done to help free her country.

"Oh, i have plenty of stories!" He said excitedly.

He bounced his legs back as he watched her work, unable to sit still from the excitement. "Where did you learn how to cook? What do you like to cook? How long have you been here?" He asked in succession.

The Inn was not like any other place he had visited before. It was almost as if the place had a life of its own.

"I bet you have some stores?"

"Oh!" He exclaimed as he hopped from his perch to sit where she directed him, catching the banana.

"Sofarivelikedeverywhere." He mumbled as he took a massive bite of the fruit. Leaning back in his chair, he crossed his long legs and watched her work. Just this activity had him working up an appetite and he was still eating.

"Whattabouyou?" He asked, taking another bite.

He pouted at his crewmate, unwilling to admit the truth but also just... just so hungry.

Then, a smile large enough to take over his entire face grew. ' LEFTOVERS?!" He all but yelled as he turned on his heels and ran to the ice chest.

Upon opening the doors, he was greeted with a beautiful sight. "Oh Sanji, you do love me! " He shouted, tears sparking in his eyes as he tore into the box.

"But Sanji!" He wailed, putting extra emphases on the last syllable of his name.

He didnt mean to, honestly he didnt. He was just so hungry. By the time his eyes opened for the morning, his stomach was in knots, his mind weary. He always ensured to eat a full meal the night before but somehow everything disappeared overnight and when he woke up, he was ravenous once more.

"Nami said i could have her eggs, i asked." He tried. He did technically ask, he just didnt wait for a reply before he opened his mouth and scarfed down the deliciousness that was on her plate.

Not sure if anyone is interested... but i would love to write Luffy in a school setting (Fruits Basket, Ouran High).

This would be chaotic and amazing and i would LOVE to write with you!

He saw her coming, saw that she was unaware and knew this was his moment. He didnt know why he had become so preoccupied with kissing Shiloh. Maybe it was because she always made a nice face after? Maybe it was because it made him happy? Probably a little bit of both. HE would of course stop if she ever asked him to, but she seemed to not mind... so here he was.

Swinging from the main sail, he spun around and landed on his feet before her, a wide grin on his face.

Yup, kissing her did make him happy.

Her next words however had him lost.

"Jealous?" He asked, his brows kitting in confusion. "I dont know about that."

He handnt moved that far away from her, close enough that he could see how quickly her blush crept along her features.

"You said to be bold?" He replied back, his own smile a little more shy than it had been before. He would be lying if he said that the kiss was not pleasant. He would have been an even bigger liar if he said he didnt want to kiss her again. For some reason when their lips touched, his stomach made a funny flip flop. A sensation that wasnt all that bad...

"Can I kiss you again?" He asked, this time waiting for her reply.

Her laugh was pure music.

He couldnt keep the grin off his face, nor stop his actions as he shifted in her lap. His hand once again moved to the back of her neck as he gently brought her face to his.

His lips brushed hers softly - testing. They were as soft as a cloud and he found himself wondering what she tasted like. Did she taste like a cloud? Did she taste like the quiche they both just shared? Would she let him find out?

"Like that?" He said softly.
