          ♥ －－；；                          sorry i havent really been around. i feel guilty about it. i really want to write, as it’s one of my best outlets, but as i say in my rules i deal with mental illness and recently i have been in a very bad spell. i havent written anything or drawn anything or done much else besides sleep since the last time i posted here. i want to try and write again because it makes me feel better, though.

          that said, please like this to maybe write with me? a lot of my threads/drafts have died/people have gone inactive.

Zen is Hyun’s nickname;; it’s simply the one that’s stuck better than his usual one. Some professors even use it instead of his real name.

Zen is a 6th year Gryffindor.

Seeker on the Quidditch team.

Has to save his grades every semester in order to stay on the team.

His grades aren’t great; they’re not completely abysmal, but bad enough that he has to actively work on getting them up every semester.

He’s popular, but a bit awkward about it. People naturally flock to him, but he doesn’t actively use or address his popularity.

That being said, professors are on a 50/50 split with liking him, mostly because of his lack of trying in classes.

His best classes are charms and divination.

That said, he’s relatively good at spell casting.

Patronus is a bay stallion.

Wand is 13 3/4″, pine wood with a unicorn hair core, with supple flexibility.

Muggleborn;; his mother continuously treated him badly when he was a child for his magic abilities and saw sending him away to Hogwarts as getting him out of her hair. Returing back for the summer is always a bit of an ordeal-- he spends most of his time away from the house.

That said, he mostly stays on the campus during the winter hollidays.

          Honestly, he’s a bit afraid when he returns to his front door; while he’s known for having a weakness for women for other reasons, it also expands to a bit of fear; women can be scary when one is in the path of their wrath, and being caught coming back from a jog when he’s supposed to be resting in bed has him tempted to turn around and re-run the route. He knows it’s pointless; Rika is persistant, if anything, and he knows he’ll be in even more ‘trouble’ if he does.

          ❝ Not.... not really, ❞ Zen groans, resting his head on his folded arms. He’s just so damn tired. This damn bug, though; on top f making him feel absolutely god awful, his inability to breath through his nose nor his mouth (the latter for fear of actually hacking up a lung in the process) and the pounding in his head, the anxiety that clung to him made his brain race made it too difficult to sleep. All he could think about was the fact that he was losing ground; he always had to be improving himself, and being immobilized as he was was making the fear of failure, of falling behind, begin to claw up his spin in tiny pinpricks. He’d even made an attempt at practicing in the god-forsaken hours of the morning that had claimed his giving up of attempting to sleep-- only to nearly faint as he did so.

          ❝ This is awful, ❞ he whines loudly.

          ❝ How do people deal with this on a regular basis?❞

          ❝ Thanks, Jaehee, ❞ he sniffs. He feels like hell; his body aches and his entire face feels puffy-- really, he’d rather others not see him in such a state. It’s very unbecoming. He hadn’t even posted any selfies in the chart for several days (much to the amusement of everyone else-- he’ll have to increase his output once this hellish bug leaves him).

          The warm liquid soothes his irritated throat, and he sighs quietly at the relief.

          Zen huffs loudly in protest from his position on the couch, effectively buried in blankets and accompanied by a pile of tissues that had been steadily growing throughout the day on the table nearby. His throat aches, and it nearly drives him up a wall; on top of having a fever and feeling like his head had been run over by a trick, he’s become completely useless. His voice has completely left him, and even if he could speak, let alone sing, there was no way he could move around while practicing for fear of the possibility of fainting (not for lack of trying, though– but Su-jin could be downright scary sometimes when she was determined enough to be). It leaves him feeling antsy; he’s almost always up and doing something. To suddenly lose that ability shakes him a bit, leaves him feeling small, and he doesn’t like it. He doesn’t like not being able to have control over the thing he’s been closest to for so long, the thing that almost defines him.

          That, and he just really hates being sick. The amount of times it’s happened could maybe be counted on one hand; he’s become spoiled to not dealing with illnesses, really.

          Grabbing the nearby notepad, he jots down a quick response and holds it up to her, the grouchy face he’d held on to all morning still firmly in place.
