And the first poly route is… Wren and Rook! 

When coming up with poly routes, I wanted characters that complimented one another and made sense together, and not necessarily romantically. And I wanted characters that were different enough to make such a route be interesting to play. I had to consider what the dynamic of the two characters would be together as well as with the MC. Since none of the ROs really know each other, those relationships have to develop as well.

From the very beginning, these two were in the works to not only be individual routes, but a poly route as well. Their stories are interconnected and different from the other routes, so it only made sense to have an option to tell their stories together.

Their joint route will not be the typical “throuple”/triad poly relationship I often see in VNs. While Rook and Wren grow to respect one another and become something like friends, they are not romantically attracted to one another. They both devote themselves to MC, but do not consider themselves in a romantic relationship with one another. Fae are more open to polyamory than humans are, so such an arrangement is not uncommon to them.
