What's messed up too is that I am not a new patient with my current insurance. I have actually been with them for 6 god damn years, just flipped which tier I was on.

I like how I can be on a medication for almost 9 years and then out of the blue my insurance is like "idk if you really need testosterone so now your doctor has to call us and beg for it"

You know what's funny and it's so par for the course when it comes to doctors offices

I work in a pharmacy so I know how a PA gets started. I get a letter in the mail from ins saying "hey we covered this one time as a courtesy since you're a new patient to us but after this it needs a PA" and I emailed my doctor what I saw and they were like "um ACKSHUALLY it doesn't need a PA it's just too soon to refill 🤓" and I was like "I know when to refill my fucking meds I'm not trying to fill early I'm saying the next time they are Not Going To Cover It But Ok When Due Date Comes I'll Keep You Updated I Guess" AND ITS DUE TODAY AND GUESS WHAT IT NEEDS!!!!
