It had been months since Mireya Dunn had left everything behind. She had been forced to go on the run, to go dark, and there was no rational way to explain it to anyone. How would anyone believe that a literal, Hellish demon had spent an eternity searching for her?

Where the woman resided now reminded her in some ways of home. Although it was neither her home nor college state – both felt too predictable, too much of a risk – it was a coastal spot, one which attracted all sorts of crowds and was so very small. Mireya had lived in a motel until she had found a small apartment to rent, afforded from the savings she had left and the money earned from a bartending job in a more fancy joint, and small jobs from learning how to code. People tipped well at the bar, especially if a dress was low cut enough and her smile big, and she went by a different name to help keep herself safe. It was hard and expensive to grow an identity from the ground up, but it had been worth it. After so long undiscovered, Mireya – or Raina – was finally beginning to feel… Almost safe.

It was the early hours of the morning when the establishment shut, and more like 4am by the time ‘Raina’ had helped clear up and close down. The now-brunette was always one of the last ones out, changing into a set of jeans and a red sweater – she tried not to wear blue, Anti would know it was her favourite by now and he had always hated it – and a pair of shoes she was capable of running in. As uncomfortable as it was to walk home in the dark, it was one of those nights, and the young woman set off the short distance home. Brown eyes were alert, senses heightened, one hand on pepper spray in the pocket of her coat. It wouldn’t take long to get back, but, well… Mireya had more of an idea of what lurked in the shadows these days.

It had been a while since the last time he had seen her beautiful face. No matter how many changes she had done, if she didn’t smile that much anymore. She still looked beautiful to him. But this particular night wasn’t the first time he saw him since he went away. This had been going on for a few weeks now. She was expecting to be watched by the brown haired gamer, but how could she ever suspect of her fellow co-worker, the landlord, the friendly old lady who lived downstairs, and a heart-broken company manager?

She went now by ‘Raina’. Strong. Truly, it suited her. Who else could escape an angry demon, re-build their life completely and look almost sane? No one could be as strong as her. No one, except him. Her brown locks were, to him, a direct copy of Maisie’s. She did it for him. 

The shadow lurked. There wasn’t a exact place where he stood. He was everywhere around her, waiting. For him to hold her here, in public, would just be stupid. He walked with her, until they arrived to her apartment. If you could call this an apartment. He watched as she locked the doors and windows, just like every night. 

He stood, not wanting to show himself yet, as the candles in the room lit up all at once. An all too familiar chuckle resonated within the walls.

jack loved talking to other youtubers at conventions, but something seemed OFF as he approached matthew. he frowned slightly, tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention.

“ hey, dude, you … alright ? ” he asked slowly.

Anti- No. Today, he was Matthew. Matthew’s eyes scanned through the crowd. The long lines that formed from the other side of the curtain. He wondered how very little of this people were here to see him. No, he knew. All the people wearing green shirts, green that wasn’t his. Holding little plushies. Of course, he was here. 

He hadn’t noticed how odd he looked while doing so. The spark of the touch in his shoulder made him pretend he was the least bit startled. When he turned, he had to resist the frown on his face. Turn it upside down, Matthew. His eyes glinted. 

“OH MY GOSH! Jack, you scared me!”

The question made him cringe. Like he fucking cares. Breathe, Matthew, pretend.

 “Yeah, of course. I was just THINKING- I do that a lot. How are you? Excited for the p a n e l ?”

lil announcement!

as to not confuse anybody, this blog has two main verses now.

“anti-pat” anti. very ancient demon who’s fucking pissed.  this is to exclusive but not obligatory to old partners, which means any relations i’ve had there before will continue. so, example: lilly and anti’s snarky exchanges between each other would take place here.  

“the game winner” anti. matt, who got tired of being treated like shit, solves it out with murder and is now anti. new interactions take place here, and any old partners from anti-pat that want to interact with this anti would have to do it as if they have never met before. example, mireya and anti’s old relationship has been replaced by him having a complex for kidnapping her, due to the anti’s not being the same. 

tl;dr: the antis i’ve made are completely different, and i won’t stop you from interacting with whichever you want. just know that they’ll be different verses.
