"If you take one today, the driver will start asking you questions, which will distract them, making them get in a crash. It will kill them, along with a family in the other car."
They shrug, as if it's the most normal thing in the world to say. Fae brush their white hair out of xer eyes.
"Of course, you can't die, so why would you care?"
Gale is in a hurry, rushing through the busy square. He bumps someone, and they stumble. Gale catches the person, whom fae now recognize as Amelie.
-@gale-sky-and-sea
"Can you please watch where you're going?¿"
It grumbles. They don't want yet another accident.

"Don't take a cab today."

"I am me, same as I always have been. You just don't know me."
Their answer is cryptic, confusing. Fae grin at Amelie.

"Sorry, sorry."
Gale's quiet, which Amelie finds odd. She's also paler than Amelie remembers.

There are stages of decay when even the worms leave, and I suppose I managed to get to that state. It's fine now.
Thoughts on worms?
@dirtcup-blog
Worms are alright, I suppose. I've had quite a few in me before, but I guess that's what happens when you rot. I no longer have them anymore.

"I won't pry if you aren't going to willingly tell. No, that's the Eye's job..."
Gale shakes xer head, taking another sip of coffee. He doesn't know this woman. Why are void talking with her?
Charlie doesn’t get out a lot. That is to say, she didn’t used to. Since everything went down with Sydney, she almost became too nervous to poke her head outside at all, a rabbit ready to run for her burrow at the first sign of danger. What if the hive came back for her? What if she did?
But it’s been a long time since then, and being relocated to London has certainly helped things. As certain as she is of the extremes the Corruption would go to to claim its own, Charlie doubts Sydney would cross an ocean when she has no way of knowing she’s even over here. She’s branched out. Made friends. Gone on dates.
Well. One date. And it ended awfully.
Regardless, Charlie finds herself sitting in a cafe, sipping a coffee and enjoying the sun streaming through the window. The weather’s been good lately. Maybe she can be too.
@nobodys-soldier
There's a breeze on the back of Charlie's neck. The door swings open, and Gale steps in, small smile on her face. Fae haven't smiled in a long time. The breeze is light, ruffling their skirt, messing Charlie's hair up slightly.
Gale's hair has grown, almost uncomfortably long. He needs to cut it. Later. For now, aer here and are going to get a latte, thank you very much.

Gale nods.
"I understand. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get that many burns?"

"Lovely name, Charlie!"
Gale looks at her hand, but doesn't shake it.
"That looks like it would hurt you if I touched that. Are you good, or do you need some medical help? If you don't want to go to a hospital, I can go to my penthouse and be back in a few minutes."
The breeze is light, but still painfully obvious in the cafe with its closed doors. Gale rolled up the sleeves of xer sweater, vitiligo noticeable for the first time in months.

"I have to dye it if I don't want weird stares. You'd be surprised how many curious looks you get if your hair is white!"
Gale laughs a little, seeing how uncomfortable the other person looks and trying to lighten the mood. Xe take a sip of their latte, looking out the window.
"I'm Gale, by the way."

Gale grabs void's latte, then looks around, trying to find somewhere to sit in the crowded cafe. Vier gaze lands on Charlie, and they walk over, slightly tentative.
"Oh, hi, umm. You're hair, well, the bit that's faded, it's a really pretty colour!"
Gale offers up a grin, breeze growing a tad bit stronger.

"Endless. Or at least, I have been for longer. The Expanse has had me for a long time, and one gets lonely when surrounded by Void."
She sighs.
"I know multiple people who can help, but I'd like to know who you're talking about."
Caiden Harlow sits in the back table of a coffee shop. He glances at his coffee thinking to himself. He knows someone is bound to bother him and likely ask him questions and would rather it here then at his house.
