Then do it. It'll be harder for sure, but you can do it.

"I want to be a pokemon trainer and travel the world but I'm an older person"

Then do it. it's never too late to pick up pokemon training, you're never to old to learn a new skill.

"I want to go on my Pokemon journey but I have a disability"

You can still do it. It'll be different, and in many cases harder, but it can be done- hell, your pokemon might even be able to help you.

"I want to go on a Pokemon journey but I don't want to go alone."

Then bring friends with you- or make friends. There's groups now on swablusky I saw just the other day for matching up with other trainers in your experience range to travel together.

"I want to go on a Pokemon journey but I don't have a rival."

You don't need one. If you have that kind of self-motivation to carry yourself further, you don't NEED a rival.

Pokemon training, pokemon journeys, pokemon contests, all of these things are for everyone. Your experience might be different or harder or strange to someone else. But that doesn't mean it's any less than anyone else's. If you're thinking about taking that step into the world of pokemon companionship? Do it. This is your sign to give it a try.

A newly-hatched Skarmory had to come in to be weighed and I just can't this is genuinely what they look like as babies 😭

This little girl is only a couple days old. By week 2, she'll have her full feathers grown in, and she'll look more like the skarmory that we're used to seeing. At around 4 weeks, her mom will start taking her for flying lessons ^^

ohh look at those babies. they’re having so much fun

fairy types are definitely also some of my favorites but I’ve got a weird soft spot for dark types. I dunno maybe I’ve got a thing for misunderstood and misconstrued as “bad” or “evil” pokemon when they’re really just trying to survive like us.

that being said beware of having an obstagoon because they WILL find every opportunity to lick your head and ruin your hair bc they think it’s funny

unfortunately no the taxis are very much still around. however the good news is not everyone uses them, a lot of people in Paldea prefer to ride their own pokemon (usually cyclizar which can actually support the weight of a human person safely) so that’s a bit better than everyone just taking the taxi

paldea in my experience bc there IS no public transit system beyond the flying taxis which btw aren't even carried by a strong pokemon like corviknight in galar, no, they just strapped the metal box to like five little squawkabilly and expect you to be OKAY with that

so basically i was either riding or flying on my own pokemon to get everywhere. i am not trusting those little flimsy birds to carry me into the sky at the same efficiency as a corviknight

Important reminder to please do your research on the Pokémon food you’re getting for your team. Different species have different dietary needs. It isn’t a one size fits all. Feeding your Pokémon the wrong food can lead to malnutrition and other health problems.

my main pokémon are Lollipop the Shiny Sylveon and Aura the Lucario! had these guys since I was a kid and they’ve been with me ever since.

crow’s universe has some differences to the canon storylines, so just keep this in mind. the main flow of the stories are mostly the same
