Art Theft Warning
Fans and artists in the Into The Spiderverse Fandom- this book is selling uncredited art prints in multiple bookstores, digitally, and on e-books.
I received this book as a gift and to my surprise stumbled across an piece from an artist friend that hadn’t shared on their art public pages like they had with previous colabs and published projects, and that didn’t pass my smell check.
@risto-licious and their Twitter(go give their stuff a look! They’re great!)
Checking in my friend confirmed that they’d not been alerted to their art being used or compensated. Not only that but their signature had been edited out.
Upon further inspection many of the other pieces have evidence of clone brush/heal brush style signature and watermark removal which leads me to believe that most if not all of the art pieces in this published work are stolen
If you recognize any of these pieces or know their artists please alert them to their art being stolen and sold. I’m more than happy to link them, credit them with their art, or the like. They deserve to know about their artwork being used without their permission.
The book in question is: Spiderverse Art Book - Into The Spiderverse Art Book (Unofficial): Spiderverse Art of The Movie
Please go to their page and their sellers page on the retailers selling it and report/give one star ratings to get this removed and stop artists hard work being profited off of by this bad-actor.
If anyone knows about the process of getting compensated for sales of their art that they did not consent to please let me know

A second gijinka kaiju appears! This time it’s the mighty, Rodan!! I was inspired by this awesome glowing lava look to the wings of the his new movie design. Also, from a classic version called “Fire Rodan.” More to come, soon!!

GOJIRA: MONSTER KING thoughts:
The Good - It was a tasty Godzilla movie. The badass monster battle moments were markedly badass and it was fun to see all the (main) big buddies duke it out on a worldwide scope. The VFX was dazzling and entertaining, with a satisfying score. Ken Watanabe did a fine job and his performance carried many scenes. It’s certainly more memorable than the first film, but I don’t remember the first enough to decide which was a more satisfying film, but there was far more fan service here.
The Bad - It was an awful human movie. The monster scientists were shockingly stupid at times. The story was cardboard built around a centerpiece of monster fights. The character interactions ranged from boring, to laughably cheesy, to largely moments where you wish you could press the FF button to get to the meat you came for. They revealed a fascinating underwater civilization, only to nuke it all before any more info. Millie Bobby Brown was sadly underutilized.
The Hilarious - There was enough unintentional GoT references from Charles Dance to make for a fun comedy experience. They showed the most prototypical HUMANS BAD montage I’ve ever seen. They referenced Skull Island precisely 372 times, only top Buzzfeed scientists know why. The monsters were lovingly listed in the cast credits as “Themselves”.
The trailer had more emotional weight than the actual film/10
