Late Journalist Govindlal Vora had Impressive Photography Skills

Apart from being an esteemed journalist and distinguished writer, Govindlal Vora had the hidden talent of photography. Time and again he proved his photography skills by capturing historical moments. He believed in covering his stories to the extreme depth and analyzing every aspect of it, hence he preferred doing photography himself.

Govindlal Vora was a socialist while being a journalist and hence he went an extra mile to capture the story of hardships, changes and improvements of the tribal sections of Chhattisgarh. He dug into their living conditions, traditions, agricultural practices and financial evolutions of these people while covering the Dandakaranya Project.

He was a fearless journalist, but he was also a daring photographer. To capture the moment is the essence and Govindlal Vora knew it. Hence, he accompanied a foreign lady journalist Heli Prince in the dense forest to capture the hunting of wild lion.

Govindlal Vora was an enthusiastic photographer, an esteemed journalist, a dedicated socialist and a passionate philanthropist. His passing away in 2018 has been a catharsis for the journalism community and a loss to the humankind.

Distinguished Journalist Govindlal Vora Valued Social Equilibrium

The renowned journalist and active socialist Govindlal Vora understood the significance of maintaining social presence and valued his relations. No matter how small the occasion be, he invited every acquaintance of his and spread the happiness far and wide. He personally welcomed everyone and involved extensively in the one-to-one conversations to make everyone feel important.

 In the middle of the line, Mr. Govindala Vora and senior journalist Tarab Bhaduri alongside him and in the last line, in the second order Shri Motilal Vora is also present.

During the wedding of daughter Ranjana Vora, many esteemed political figurines were invited including the former chief minister and governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shyamcharan Shukl and K.S. Chandi along with many of his close friends such as journalist Madhukar Kher. Govindlal Vora freed himself of functional obligations to converse and dine with all his guests.

His conversations revolved around social issues while maintaining an easy tone of functional gatherings. Even former chief minister and governor of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Raman Singh and K.M. Seth enjoyed his company while attending the engagement ceremony of his son Rajeev Vora.

Veteran Journalist Govindlal Vora found Solace in Spiritual Journey

It is widely known that the former chief editor of Chhattisgarh’s leading newspaper Amrit Sandesh, Govindlal Vora had time and again worked towards the upliftment of society and devoted his life in improving educational system for the rural populace. However, the passionate journalist found his peace of mind and clarity of thoughts after being introduced to the Brahma Kumaris foundation.

The vision and living principles of the Brahma Kumaris deeply influenced the thoughts and path of Gonvindlal Vora. Often times he used to stay for days at Brahma Kumaris establishment. He believed that serving others was the true purpose of life which resonated with the Brahma Kumaris teachings. Govindlal Vora identifies and explored the spiritual side of his personality after being associated with the Brahma Kumaris.
