Anyway I think I’m gonna end up deleting my tumblr after I finish archiving it, because this tumblr anit-porn thing is absolute horseshit. This has kinda been a long time coming, both for the site but mostly for me, because this isn’t a platform I really use anymore, though I do check it!

I’ve made so many friends here and met so many cool people, and gotten to take part of so many amazing fandoms! Tumblr was such a great place in so many ways for so long, but YEAH all good things must come to an end, I guess.

It’s been two years since I’ve posted anything of substance about what’s going on with my life -- where do I even begin?

I’ve been living in Bend, OR for over two years now! Working on video games, writing, hanging out with my cat, hiking, browsing Target (there isn’t much to do here...), kayaking and canoeing, binge watching TV. My life here is peaceful and fun!

I’ve been spending a lot of my (limited) free time playing video games and have beat a RECORD number this year: Breath of the Wild, Persona 5, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XV, Uncharted: the Lost Legacy, What Remains of Edith Finch, Dream Daddy, Tacoma, Nier: Automata, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, etc. I don’t usually play a lot of video games (WEIRD BC I MAKE THEM) but I’ve mad a lot of time for them this year and have NO regrets!!

(I’m borrowing a friend’s PSVR and I’m going to play the FFXV fishing VR game because it’s all I need in life, really.)

I’M GOING TO GERMANY!!! IN A MONTH!!! TO SEE @alchemafia and eat food and see Berlin and travel around! We have so much planned and I’m so excited to her and spend time with her after SO LONG but also to travel, because it’s been so long since I’ve done that too!

I’m trying to plan a trip to Japan maybe next December? Depending on how life’s going next year! Fingers crossed.

I’ve been slowly trying to reconnect with people, since I kind of fell off the radar after my move to Bend. Life got hectic, I hit a wall in my career, work has been busy, but also depression kind of took over. There are so many people I love and miss that I want to talk to again! And I’m sorry for my absence and want to make up for it.

I’ve also been slowly reconnecting with myself. It took me a long time to sort through my emotions after healing from the time spent in pain, and now I’m trying to remember who I am, but also find out who I’ve become. This has meant a lot of self-reflecting, but also a lot of time spent trying to get back into hobbies! Like crocheting, drawing, and writing fanfiction (I MISS IT). It’s been really nice and exciting and I’ve been really, really happy.

(I’m also quickly sinking back into swimming/harurin hell, sooooo.)

This is really only a little bit of a much grander story, but hey! I could probably write a novel about the self-discovery journey I’ve been on for the last five years.

I’ll post a writing update soon too! I still get a lot of asks and comments about 3 Words and its sequel (spoiler: I’m working on it!!!!) and I want to honor those! But I’ve also been grappling with my relationship with writing for so long and just want to talk about a couple of the projects I’ve been working on lately!

(I’ve really missed blogging. So I’m going to try to make a habit of posting here more! I haven’t been gone completely, but I’ve been super silent.)

I DO still want to write the next two parts! Life’s been a little bit hectic since I got a job writing for video games, but I keep wanting to pick 3 Words’ sequel back up again. I just need...time... 

That being said, I dunno when it’s coming, but I do have the entire thing planned out and I’m ready to start writing! I really want to finish this series, just to get it all out there and to finish the saga for all you lovely readers...

That also being said, I’m sorry it’s taken so long!! And that I’ve kind of disappeared off the face of the Earth...

- Someone asked me once if I remembered how it all went down; as if it happened so long ago that anyone could forget. So, yeah, I remember. 

I remember when our homes and our towns turned into graveyards. When the wilderness became our only hope for survival. I remember when the planes fell out of the skies, when the trains stopped running, when the turbines shut down and the world went dark.

I remember when they put up the razor wire; like it was gonna stop anything. And the feds ran out of body bags, and some of us lost our minds…some lost more than that, much more.

I remember when we lived by a code, when brotherhood meant something, and living meant more than surviving. So, yeah, I remember how it all went down. Now, I don’t give a damn about any of that. 

You know what I remembered most? Riding the open road, the smell of your hair, the touch of your skin. I remember you. 

But, those days are gone. Now, I’m a drifter, a bounty hunter, a mercenary. And for me the broken road is all that’s left. 

But, I’ll always remember.

I haven't talked about me in a while?!? Everything's bee so busy that I haven't had time! I moved to Oregon with my girlfriend and we're now living together in a cute little apartment! I got a job!!! I'm now working for a video game company on an unannounced PS4 game as a full-time writer and narrative designer! It's been amazing. I FINALLY HAVE A CAT we adopted her on Wednesday and her name is Garnet and she's so cute... There's a lot more but mobile tumblr doesn't let me format my posts and I'm at work and also what's the point of making posts on tumblr if no one can reply to them?!?
