I was giving a task to created a amenity the other day with whole fruit. Idea was for the guest to be able to slice there own fruit. ok no problem, I’ve done dozen of different fruit plates. Mind you! this a PM shift, all managers have left the building. No worries right? gather items, create, take pictures, done!! Long story short, we are limited on fruit in the kitchen for some reason. So I had to improvise on something? That is the picture I posted before. The ONLY thing I was really tripping about were the lemons and limes on the plate!! Who in there right mind puts lemons and limes on a fruit plate. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Come to find out it, the amenity are for some really big department heads coming in to tour the property. My direct department heads that ask for the dish were very delighted, loved the amenity. Of course right!😂 so I was asked it to reproduce. ok🤔....thinking to myself, but with Lemons and limes, not what I had in mind, I asked do we think we can order different fruit or something??? Then my department head was like no it’s ok, it’s for.... come to find out!🤦🏾‍♂️ They want them to be able to slice the fruit themselves for INFUSED WATER!!! Just tell me that next time!
