kaisoo analysis
a few years ago, sept. 2015 i believe, there were rumors of a media outlet planning on outting a gay couple in a group. it was said that they’ve been dating for 5 years already.
“An A-list idol group member ‘A’ is said to have fallen in love with none other than fellow member ‘B’. They’ve apparently been dating for five years now and the scandal is expected to be huge especially considering that they’re idol members from the same top level group. A and B were actually caught by a paparazzi last year but came to a compromise with paparazzi company C to bury the articles. A and B are still continuing their relationship.“
this obviously puts a timeline for bands that qualify, a lot of people say that since it’s a 5 yr relationship that groups who debuted 2-3 yrs before the news qualify because trainee times count also.
by the way i’m going with it, i believe that the supposed couple is in exo. to me, the most qualified couple is kaisoo.
here’s why:
1. if the supposed couple was in exo, then they would’ve been dating during their trainee days. lot of predebut info shows kaisoo being the closest, their selfies are also the most intimate. in two of the pictures, kyungsoo’s cheek is literally pressed up against jongin’s, in another he’s ontop of jongin. not to mention that a friend of baekhyun wrote that “he was always talking about wanting to get closer to kyungsoo, but that he was always stuck [with jongin]”
also this:
back in 2012, there was a person who claimed he was a SM trainee said that it was a really well-known fact among trainers that kaisoo are in a relationship. They were always seen together. From that day onwards until now, there are continues rumors about them dating, even before debut.
2. dispatch report of a similar news previously.
[+29, -0] Dispatch talked about this before in the past, that they were going to reveal a male idol group who had a gay couple and that they were adults.. but after a couple of days, all of the articles disappeared and Dispatch went quiet about it. That was around 2013, I believe?
also around 2013 there was a lot of rumors of kaisoo dating, although now i can’t find them, they seem to be hidden. the influx or rumors of them dating was big and the fact that all these articles are gone so suddenly, it’s fishy. considering the fact of the original dating rumors and the dispatch announcement, the timing is in line.
3. the rumored kiss.
early 2015, a chinese fan said that she saw and took a picture of kaisoo kissing backstage.
Tumblr media
but also, kfans saw that they were slowly advoiding each other after the rumor.
They were fine before, but by June moments decreased
The moments went down, i think they had a fight earlier in that month?
4. the news of dispatch was in septemeber 2015, when there was hardly any interaction at all.
Then obviously, jongin started to avoid ks and ks started to be really active. he started many kaisoo moments and his skinship increased (around late october) But then, when they were in japan (where is the place prohibited to take any photos) they looked good They looked good after all since that, but on the interview ks said that he is now using the room alone, which seemed strange since kaisoo looked still good Then the scandal released Now kaisoo can’t even look into each other’s eyes…
they avoided each other a lot after the news. why would the unless..? (all the info was from korean kfans in a kaisoo gc)
5. kaistal. as we all know, this year kaistal started to date. but insider articles reveal that this was planned by sm, just as baekyeon was.
Kai will be possibly paired with Krystal, this is being discussed. Kai really doesn’t like couple pairings, male x male or male x female.
[ENTRY DATE: August 31, 2012]
this was from 2012!! obviously it was faked, the dates didn’t even make sense as well. plus, why would dispatch take photots of them from feb. and hold on to them until april?
6. a continuation from the dispatch article.
The same sex couple that they will be revealing are two members in the same group and are trending idols that are expected to cause a ripple in the industry.
the group is expected to cause a ripple in the industry. think about this, when is exo not creating a ripple in the industry? just this year they’ve become triple million sellers, one of the first! if that’s not a riple in the kpop industry then i don’t know what is.
all i’m saying is that, kaisoo fits as the couple. i’m not saying that they are, but they fit the part. after this year there seems to be a lot of internal drama with kaisoo. the resurface of this rumor had me thinking. sorry if this is a little unclear.
all source of information are not mine.

The Art Of Kissing Do Kyungsoo
Title : The Art Of Kissing Do Kyungsoo Genre : Romance; Rating : PG-15 (mention of sex and slight cursing) Song : Don't Flirt by U-Kiss Plot The art of kissing Do Kyungsoo is known, understood and done by only one man whose name is Kim Jongin. ~*~ There are so many things which can be done only by experts. Fixing things, doing things, what ever, needs experts or it is going down the hill. Kissing Do Kyungsoo isn't as easy as it sounds. One needs skills to do that and that skill is mastered by Kim Jongin, the latter's boyfriend who has a cocky smirk plastered on his face. But, don't get him wrong, he isn't as cocky as you think. He likes cuddles, soft, I love you kisses and doesn't prefer Netflix and chill over Romeo and Juliet. While Kyungsoo is a bit different. He has a beautiful, heart-shaped smile plastered but, he isn't as innocent as his face claims to be. He likes fucking before cuddling the younger male, he likes kissing the younger male rough, hard till their lips are swollen; Kyungsoo is the one who'd fuck the younger male while watching Romeo and Juliet. However, he doesn't like just pressing their lips together. No. Kyungsoo loved the way Jongin would press their lips together, moved them slowly, just a small part of his lip would be caught between the taller's teeth but only for a few seconds. Without tongues interrupting their time. This is known only by Kim Jongin. ~*~ Once, when they were bored and were making out on the couch, with Jongin on the elder's lap, his hands made into fists and was holding Kyungsoo's T-shirt while the owner of the T-shirt had his grip on his hips, head resting on the head rest of the couch, lips rarely detaching for air. This time, Kyungsoo was the one to catch younger's bottom lip between his teeth. The center part of the younger's bottom lip was nibbled and Jongin was oddly satisfied by the small amount of burning sensation. When Kyungsoo stopped nibbling and pressed their lip together, Jongin whined,"Do that again." "Do what?" "Bite there. Fuck, that felt good." Kyungsoo obeyed gladly and nibbled the same part of Jongin's bottom lip; It was already swollen and he could feel it, he guessed it was already red too. Next, Kyungsoo didn't nibble but just kept that part between his teeth and moved his teeth. That time, Kim Jongin understood. ~*~ They're in the classroom, Kyungsoo is sitting on his chair while Jongin is on his desk, their lips moving against each other. The room is empty, nobody likes to be in the class after school has ended but, they had already started so they chose to stay a little more there. Jongin sucked on other's lip, his hand on the elder's blazer and brought him closer. Before they'd end up fucking here in the classroom, Kyungsoo leaned back, catching his breathe softly, grinned at the younger male. "We're in school." "Doesn't mean we can't." Jongin pouted. "We can babe, but you're loud and walls aren't sound proof." Though, Jongin blushed quite prettily and he looked somewhat similar when he'd thrust in him, Kyungsoo avoided getting aroused and picked up his bag. "Maybe after when we get your science done today." "But-" "I'm all yours when we reach there, alright? Stop complaining now." He pecked the younger male's lips one last time and stood, started walking out the class. Obviously you're mine, Jongin grunted before picking his bag up; It's done by Kim Jongin only. written by Shreya

Teacher (part 2 to Babysitter)
Title : Teacher (part 2 to Babysitter)
Genre : Romance, Fluff
Rating : PG-13
Takes place a few years later, Jongin is 17, Kyungsoo is 25
Plot
In which Kyungsoo finally admits he’s fallen for the child—and close friend—he used to babysit.
•~•
As his mother’s trust still didn’t come along, Jongin continued to be left with Kyungsoo, on the nights she worked late. Although their age gap was rather large—eight years and two days apart—the two managed to build a healthy friendship.
There were days where Jongin would visit Kyungsoo’s college after he got let out of school, and he would find his hyung, just coming out and going to his car. Jongin would have the brightest, happiest smile and his pounding heart as he greeted Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo would smile back, ask how Jongin’s day was, drive him somewhere fun maybe. And they would talk.
The average twenty-one year old wouldn’t want to be friends with a kid like Jongin. But Kyungsoo was different. He liked spending time with his dongsaeng. He liked talking to Jongin, about anything and everything. It made him happy and relieved, somehow.
Some days, Kyungsoo would let Jongin crash at his place for the night. His mother was completely trusting of Kyungsoo, so almost always, she agreed to it. It became so frequent, Jongin kept some of his clothes and another school uniform at Kyungsoo’s, just so he wouldn’t have to travel back and forth.
Jongin’s crush on Kyungsoo never disappeared. In fact, as the years dragged on, and Jongin became a senior in high school, he was completely in love with Kyungsoo. He never told the elder that he felt that way. Their age gap was broad, first of all. Kyungsoo wouldn’t want to be with someone who wasn’t even legal yet. Second, he didn’t even know if Kyungsoo liked guys. In the time Jongin has known Kyungsoo, Kyungsoo has never had any boy or girlfriends. Talking about sexuality was a touchy subject for Jongin, since he was bisexual and leaned slightly more towards guys than girls. Plus his mother and his friends had no idea of his sexual preferences. So he never asked Kyungsoo what he was. He just assumed Kyungsoo was straight.
Kyungsoo eventually graduated college at twenty-four and now he was working a teaching job at Jongin’s high school. To say Jongin was happy for that is an understatement. Kyungsoo taught in music and it seemed that everyone took a liking to him. Mr. Do was a nice teacher, and good at what he did. He smiled at each student, even the kids that caused trouble. Those kids liked Kyungsoo even.
Of course, Jongin expected Kyungsoo to treat him like any other student. But outside of school, they were back to being close friends. Jongin still always waited for Kyungsoo to come out of the school and the elder would drive him home or to his place. Everyone knew that Mr. Do and Kim Jongin were closer than the average teacher and student. They could be seen walking together during free periods and lunch. Or talking before music class started—or before any class started. Sometimes hyung would slip from Jongin’s mouth, instead of Mr. Do. Soon it got to the point where girls were even shipping the two together.
Sure they knew. It didn’t put any awkwardness on their friendship though, despite Jongin’s feelings for Kyungsoo. They were as they always have been.
But it made Kyungsoo begin to question his feelings for Jongin.
|•~•||•~•||•~•|
“Hyung!” the younger’s excited voice came through Kyungsoo’s classroom. He was playing the piano, awaiting Jongin’s usual arrival during lunchtime. And here he was, smiling the type of smile that made Kyungsoo’s heart beat.
Kyungsoo stopped his fingers from playing. “Hey, Nini.” he said, sending a smile back and gesturing him to come over and sit next to Kyungsoo. Jongin did so, their arms brushing together as he did. “How’s studying for midterms?”
Jongin grunted. “A pain in my ass. As it is every year.” he stretched his arms above him and let out a yawn.
Kyungsoo chuckled. “At least it’s your last year, right?”
“Guess so.” Jongin mused, frowning slightly. His last year in this school meant he wouldn’t see Kyungsoo as much. He would be in college, and the elder would still be working his teaching job here. It made Jongin’s dreams of growing up begin to fade away. He wished time would stop for a while, just so he didn’t have to leave Kyungsoo yet. He shook the thoughts away and smiled again. “Can you play something for me, hyung? Maybe it’ll ease my stress.”
A chuckle emitted from Kyungsoo’s mouth, ruffling up Jongin’s hair and making it even messier. Jongin pouted. “Alright, but one song. I’m starving.”
His eyes went back to the piano in front of him. His fingers began to play delicately and prettily—thought Jongin. Jongin leaned his head on Kyungsoo’s shoulder as the elder played a song Jongin always loved.
Kyungsoo played with a beating and unsure heart.
When he was done, he sent Jongin a glance and saw that he was starting to doze off. Kyungsoo smiled—he’s so cute—and flicked Jongin in the forehead.
Jongin winced. “Ow, hyung, why?”
“Because I’m hungry and I bet you are too, now get the hell off me.” said Kyungsoo with a playful tone, pushing his dongsaeng off his shoulder.
Jongin rubbed his eyes and yawned again. “Can we just skip the rest of the day?”
Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you have studying to do?”
“But my grades are good and I’m tired, hyungie.” Jongin pouted again. “Please? You don’t have to teach the rest of the day.”
That damn pout. “Ugh, fine. Just let me get my stuff and talk to Mr. Kim. Wait by my car.”
Jongin nodded excitedly. He touched a short kiss to Kyungsoo’s cheek, which Kyungsoo blinked to and looked at Jongin with surprise. The boy was blushing when he said, “See you in a bit.” Then he ran off out of the room.
Kyungsoo sat there for a few moments, trying to decipher what just happened.
Why his heart beat so fast.
Why his cheeks burned.
He didn’t completely understand why he was acting like this around Jongin. The boy was still a minor. Kyungsoo was twenty-five, and Jongin’s music teacher.
His teacher.
Fuck.
Kyungsoo got up from the piano seat, closed the piano, and made his way out of his classroom to the teachers’ office. He got to his desk and grabbed his bag, stuffing a couple of papers into folders and into the bag.In the midst of putting his coat on, he heard a voice speak to him.
“Leaving early, Mr. Do?”
It was the head teacher, Mr. Kim. Or Junmyun, as he let students and teachers call him by his name.
Kyungsoo zipped his coat up. “Yeah. I’m not teaching the rest of the day, so…”
Junmyun hummed. “Well, have a good night then.” his tone said he knew more than he probably should, yet he supported whatever it was.
Kyungsoo bid goodbye to Junmyun and the other teachers, slinging his bag over his shoulder and leaving the office at a brisk pace.
Outside, Jongin waited at Kyungsoo’s car, leaning against the back of it with his bag slung around his right shoulder and over his chest. It was beginning to snow and the air nipped almost harshly at Jongin’s nose and lips. Suddenly he regretted not bringing his coat today. He saw Kyungsoo walk out and reach into his pocket for his keys.
“Ready to go?” Kyungsoo said as he walked to the driver’s side and unlocked his car.
“Mhm.” Jongin went to the other side.
They both slid in, throwing their bags to the backseat and strapping themselves. Kyungsoo spared Jongin a quick glance. He frowned. “Where’s your coat?”
Jongin only shrugged. “Didn’t bring it?” he said awkwardly.
“Idiot.”
And with that, Kyungsoo drove out of the school parking lot.
The hours seemed to fly past them, rather quickly. They went to a restaurant for lunch and after that, to the mall to look for a new coat for Jongin. The boy had protested that he didn’t need a new coat, but Kyungsoo wouldn’t have it. It was cold out and if they were going to walk around town again, Jongin needed a coat. They settled on a simple black one, that went down to Jongin’s mid-thighs and had soft, warm insides.
Then, as planned, they walked around for a while, admiring Christmas lights. Maybe going inside some of the shops to look around, possibly to find gifts to give to loved ones.
Now they were at the jeweler’s, looking around for something for their mothers. Nothing really in particular caught Kyungsoo’s eye. Mainly, just the same old, same old. He found Jongin, talking with one of the sales’ clerks. He was smiling bright and the girl was smiling back. Kyungsoo wasn’t sure what to think. He brushed it off and walked up to him.
“Ready?”
Jongin’s eyes fell on Kyungsoo. “Didn’t find anything?”
The elder shook his head. “Unfortunately, no.” then he smiled. “You spending the night at my place?”
Jongin snorted. “Why’re you asking that, when the answer is pretty obvious?” he retorted. Kyungsoo pinched Jongin’s nose, harder than intended. “Ow, hyung, why?”(a/n: whelp i used that twice cx sorry proceed) Jongin’s voice was now a bit nasally.
“Because you’re a smart ass.” Kyungsoo answered with a teasing grin, removing his hand from Jongin’s nose. “Let’s go then, smart ass.”
|•~•||•~•||•~•|
Jongin had his head in Kyungsoo’s lap as they watched a movie and just finished dinner. Kyungsoo had a knack for playing with the boy’s hair anytime they were in this position. In the years that Kyungsoo had known him, he’d never noticed how soft Jongin’s locks are. They felt silky and smooth between his fingers.
“Hey, Nini?”
Jongin hummed sleepily in response.
“Earlier…” Kyungsoo felt Jongin tense. “Why did you kiss me?” he felt stupid for asking that question because the answer was obvious. But he wanted to hear it from Jongin himself.
Jongin sat up from Kyungsoo’s lap and turned to face his hyung. “Will you promise not to hate me and that our friendship won’t change?”
Kyungsoo nodded reluctantly. “Of course.”
Jongin drew in a deep breath, and released it upon three words, “I love you.” Kyungsoo looked down at his hands. “Hyung, I’ve loved you since I was thirteen. And I was so afraid to tell you I did because I’m still a minor and you’re eight years older than me. I was afraid you wouldn’t love me back because maybe you wanted someone your age, hell, even someone that wasn’t a boy.” Jongin’s voice was trembling as he said that. “Plus I’m your student now. God, I feel so stupid, I shouldn’t have kissed you earlier. I’m sorry.”
A heavy silence fell upon them. It was only the sounds of the TV and buzzing of air. Jongin sat on the other side of the couch and kept his legs in towards his chest. Neither of them spoke whilst the movie finished.
When it did eventually end, Jongin stood up to go to the guest bedroom and get ready to sleep. But the calling of his name stopped him mid-step. He felt tears prickle his eyes. He knew what was coming. Rejection. Plain, hurtful rejection.
That’s not what came though.
He heard footsteps from behind him come closer. Then hands take him by the shoulders. Spin him around. He was faced with Kyungsoo, a serious gaze in his eyes. Jongin tightened his lips, tears threatening to leave his eyes.
“I’m eight years older than you.” said Kyungsoo.
Jongin just nodded.
“I’m your teacher.”
Again, he nodded.
“You’re not eighteen yet.”
He nodded for the third time. A tear rolled down Jongin’s cheek.
“But that doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings for you, Jongin.”
The younger shifted his gaze back to Kyungsoo. He was smiling softly, holding his hands. He blinked thrice. “What?”
Kyungsoo moved a few strands out of Jongin’s eyes. “For a while, I’ve been trying to figure out how I felt about you. But everything today, it all makes sense now.” Jongin felt his heart jump. “I may not be able to say I love you yet. However, I like you. Not just as my best friend or my student, but as a man.”
Jongin’s lips quirked up in a smile. “You mean it?”
“Yeah.”
Jongin engulfed Kyungsoo in a tight, warm hug, unable to keep his happiness down. The music teacher chuckled and hugged Jongin back.
“But,” Kyungsoo continued, Jongin releasing him, “before we can be anything, we have to wait for 1.) you to turn eighteen and 2.) your graduation. Okay?”
Jongin nodded quickly. “I know. I was planning to tell you at my graduation, but I guess not anymore.”
Kyungsoo grinned and messed up Jongin’s hair like he always did. “You’re adorable, you know that?”
“Am not,” Jongin pouted.
And for a couple moments, they were lost in each other’s eyes, containing longing gazes and joy. Jongin examined all of Kyungsoo’s features—eyes, nose, lips, his moonlight-like skin, short stature.
“Can I kiss you?” Jongin didn’t care what he just asked. He wanted—needed—to kiss Kyungsoo, just once.
With a smile and a light shake of Kyungsoo’s head, Jongin brought his hand up to Kyungsoo’s face, and caressed his cheek. He leaned in at a slow rate and pressed their lips together, very softly.
|•~•||•~•||•~•|
Months passed. Jongin turned eighteen on January fourteenth, just two days after Kyungsoo. And today, was Jongin’s graduation. He passed his exams well, got accepted in the college Kyungsoo went to. Kyungsoo was very proud of him, and as was his mother. His mother was crying the whole time, like every other parent.
When it ended and parents were picking their kids up, and graduates saying their goodbyes, Kyungsoo came up to Jongin with a proud smile.
“Good job, Nini. You did good.” he said. Jongin smiled back and immediately embraced Kyungsoo tightly. He actually picked him up and spun him around, joyfully. Stares? Many. “Yah, put me down!” Kyungsoo yelled, kicking as Jongin kept spinning.
Jongin let Kyungsoo back on his feet. “Thank you, hyung.”
“Don’t thank me, kkamjong. I was simply doing my job.”
A smirk curled at the corners of Jongin’s lips. “And which job would that be?”
Kyungsoo scowled. “Shut up.” then he smiled and took hold of Jongin’s hand. “Come on. I’m taking you out to celebrate.”
“Wait, hyung.” Jongin stopped him.
Kyungsoo turned, looking at him curiously. Jongin kept a grin on his face, took Kyungsoo’s face in his hands, and kissed him fully on the lips. He didn’t care that they were in public and in front of Kyungsoo’s coworkers.
Jongin was no longer a student in high school. No longer a child.
No longer just a friend and student to Kyungsoo.
End~

Babysitter (part 1)
Title : Babysitter
Genre : Fluff
Rating : PG-13
Plot
In which Kyungsoo is Jongin’s babysitter.
•~•
“Mom, I’m thirteen years old. Why do I need a babysitter?”
“Because you haven’t shown me you can be the responsible boy you’re supposed to be.” Jongin’s mother responded, rather sternly—Jongin may add. She was in the restroom, Jongin leaning on the doorframe, and her finishing her makeup. “You’re a real troublemaker in school and if you’re like that there, I can’t find trust here at home. So, a babysitter will make sure you don’t cause trouble.”
Jongin whined. “It’s not my fault that Chanyeol punches first. I only defend myself!”
“But you punch him harder and many more times, each time you and him into a fight.” She finished putting her mascara on, then turned to her son. “Plus, you hang out with that Jongdae boy. He’s bad news and his habits are starting to come onto you.”
A prolonged groan escaped from Jongin. “Fine, whatever you say.” She hummed, going back to finish her makeup. A short silence fell upon them. But curiosity hit Jongin quickly. “So, who’s coming then? Taeyeon-noona?”
“She’s busy with work tonight.” She said, whilst finishing applying her light pink lipstick. “The boy coming is really sweet and he’ll take care of you.”
“He? It’s a he?”
“Yes, Jongin. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll get along fine.”
|•~•||•~•||•~•|
Jongin sat on the couch, his mother scrambling to finish getting ready. The sitter hasn’t arrived yet, but he is sure to arrive anytime soon. Jongin was reading one of his comic books, legs dangling off the couch.
The shriek of the doorbell ringing shocked Jongin.
“Can you get that, Jongin?” She called from the kitchen.
With a light groan, Jongin set his comic book on the coffee table, stood up, and walked to the front door. He opened it, his expression still sour. But he felt his cheeks flush when a taller, older boy, with dark hair, snow white skin, and pretty, pinkish lips stood there. He was smiling, a beautiful, heart-shaped smile.
“Oh, are you Jongin?” His voice was melodic and sweet and deep.
Jongin nodded, trying to calm his racing heart. “Mhm.”
“I’m Kyungsoo.”
My God, stop beating so fast!
“Uh, is your mom still home?” Kyungsoo asked, breaking the younger out of his trance.
Jongin flushed pink, nodding quickly. “In the k-kitchen.” He opened the door wider for Kyungsoo to enter. Kyungsoo muttered a thank you, stepping in and Jongin shutting the door. As the older boy was about to go to the kitchen, Jongin’s mother came out of it.
“Oh, good, you came.” She sighed in relief, smiling prettily at Kyungsoo. “Since it’s a work party, I should be home by twelve, at the very latest.”
Kyungsoo smiled back, giving a shake of his head. “Come home as late as you need. I don’t have classes tomorrow so we should be good.”
Jongin’s mother turned to her son. “You better not cause trouble, Jongin. I mean it.”
Jongin responded with a groan. What was he, five?
“Don’t worry, Miss Kim.” Kyungsoo said with a reassuring smile, grabbing Jongin’s shoulder. Jongin’s heart raced at the touch. “I’ll take care of him.”
“Thank you again, Kyungsoo-yah.” She kissed the top of Jongin’s head. “Be good. Love you.”
With that, Jongin and Kyungsoo were left alone, in a big house all to themselves.
Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad, after all.
|•~•||•~•||•~•|
Kyungsoo was an amazing cook—Jongin thought. He almost thought the elder’s cooking was better than his mother’s cooking. But his mom was a professional chef, and would probably get mad if he ever said that.
Over their meal, it was rather quiet, the clanking of forks hitting plates and sound of silent chewing filling the atmosphere. But then, Kyungsoo spoke with a smile.
“How old are you, Jongin?” he asked.
Jongin swallowed a mouthful of food, eyes traveling up to the older boy. “Thirteen. Fourteen in January.” Kyungsoo hummed and nodded. “What about you, hyung?” Why the hell am I even asking that?!
He expected Kyungsoo to scoff and not answer at all, or to tell him to mind his own business. But Kyungsoo smiled—damn it his smile was beautiful—and replied, “Twenty-one.”
He looks younger—thought the boy.
“So you’re in college?”
“Sure am.” The elder’s smile widened a bit. “But, and I hope you don’t mind me asking, why do you need me when you’re old enough to be home alone?”
“Mom doesn’t trust me.”
Kyungsoo cleared his plate, turning on the sink to rinse it. “You look responsible enough to me.”
“I get into fights with this kid,” Jongin started, “and I’m friends with another that my mom thinks is ‘bad news’. Believe me,” he scoffed, “I think I’m too old for a babysitter.”
“Well,” Kyungsoo came up behind Jongin, and whispered in his ear, “this doesn’t have to be babysitter-to-child relationship. Just a hyung-to-dongsaeng one.” Shivers went up Jongin’s spine, his face tinging crimson. “How’s that sound? Just two young guys hanging?”
Jongin nodded nervously. “That sounds good, hyung.”
Kyungsoo squeezed his shoulder. “It’s between us, hm?”
Another nod.
The rest of the night was spent well between them. Kyungsoo helped Jongin with his homework, Jongin helped with dinner cleanup. They curled up on the couch and watched a movie they both liked. Around eleven, the movie was still playing, and Jongin was beginning to doze. Due to his sudden exhaustion, Jongin’s head fell in Kyungsoo’s lap, taking Kyungsoo by surprise.
The elder just smiled kindly and began to stroke Jongin’s dark strands.
He’s so cute.

Plot
“You’re a fucking liar.”
•~•
Kyungsoo sat on his bed, legs crossed in a criss-cross-applesauce position. He was on his phone, looking through posts on Twitter and Google. They were all about Jongin. Him and his supposed new girlfriend, Krystal Jung.
A lump had risen in his throat. He tried hard to swallow it, but he couldn’t. He wanted to cry. But he didn’t. He stared at news reports, fan comments—positive and negative—all of it. He felt sick to his stomach. He wished to puke everything he had eaten earlier. But to no avail, bile didn’t come up from his stomach and excrete from his mouth.
Deciding he couldn’t take looking at the damn pictures of Jongin and Krystal, walking together, he shut his phone off and set it on his dresser. Kyungsoo detangled his legs and lay on his bed, forearm over his eyes.
So what, Kyungsoo had been holding stronger feelings for Jongin. And for two years, he was positive the younger man felt the same way. Why was that? Simply because Jongin showed it, said it.
So many times, he told Kyungsoo he loved him.
So many times, he kissed Kyungsoo breathlessly. Softly. Lovingly.
So many times, Jongin made love to Kyungsoo, whispering sweet-nothings and I-love-you’s in Kyungsoo’s ear, the sounds of Kyungsoo’s whimpers and moans through the room.
Their love was a secret. A secret to the media, the company, the fans. To the rest of EXO, they knew. They knew and were fully supportive.
How the hell could this happen? That’s all Kyungsoo could ask. As far as he knew, Jongin and Krystal were just friends. Nothing more. But the media claimed otherwise. And apparently, so did the company and the couple.
The hard lump in Kyungsoo’s throat remained. He expected himself to cry, to scream, something. But he couldn’t. He had to keep his image, make it look like he was okay. No matter how much he wanted to, he had to stay strong. So he sat up, the anger, sadness, continuing to well up inside of him. He walked out of his and Jongin’s shared bedroom, then saw that the only one in the dorm was Jongdae.
The elder looked genuinely concerned for Kyungsoo. He was leaning against one of the kitchen walls, and he stood up straight when he saw Kyungsoo come out.
“You okay?”
A scoff. “Does it look like it to you that I’m fucking okay?”
“Hey,” Jongdae smiled slightly, putting his hands up in defeat, “I was just asking as your friend, Soo.”
Kyungsoo sighed, walking over to the refrigerator to see if there was anything he could heat up or cook. Anything to distract him. “Whatever.”
Jongdae was surprised to see no tears. He thought for sure the younger would be crying his eyes out. He knew how much he loved Jongin, and it began to scare him when Kyungsoo’s face remained stoic and expressionless.
“Where’s everybody else?”
“Work. Junmyun-hyung and Baek had an interview. Chanyeol, Sehun, and Yixing had a photo-shoot.” Jongdae stopped himself, thinking Kyungsoo wouldn’t want to know where Jongin was. Hell, Jongdae didn’t even know where that brat was.
Kyungsoo closed the refrigerator, no luck in finding anything to cook or heat up. He bit the inside of his cheek, not responding to Jongdae’s answer.
Jongdae frowned. He pulled Kyungsoo in a hug, right hand in the doe-eyed man’s hair, left arm around his shoulders. “What’s going on in there?”
The moment Jongdae said that, Kyungsoo broke. The tears finally came out. The anger came out. He cried—sobbed—into Jongdae’s shoulder, clutching the back of his t-shirt tightly.
“He l-lied to me, Jongdae. God, he-he fucking lied to me. All these years…”
Jongdae hugged him tighter, rubbing his back and stroking his hair.

“You better give him a good fucking explanation, Kim Jongin.” Jongdae hissed when the tanned idol returned.
Jongin looked down at the ground, swallowing. “I don’t know if I can.”
Jongdae scoffed, his smile disapproving. “You’re a goddamn coward, you know that?” Jongin nodded timidly and silently. Jongdae clicked his tongue. “He’s in your bedroom.”
The taller nodded again, taking his shoes off and walking to the shared bedroom. He didn’t bother knocking. The door was unlocked. Jongin opened it, entered the room, and shut it behind him. His eyes landed on Kyungsoo, who was lying in his bed, curled up and on his side. His legs trembling, Jongin strode over to the bed Kyungsoo lay on. He sat on the side Kyungsoo’s back was facing.
Kyungsoo’s muscles tensed when he felt the bed dip. He knew who it was. No words were needed. “Why are you here?”
Jongin turned his body towards the smaller. He put his hand on Kyungsoo’s shoulder. “Hyung–”
“Get your hand off of me.” Kyungsoo spat.
Jongin ignored Kyungsoo’s command. “I can explain.”
Kyungsoo sat up, his legs moving in towards his chest. His eyes were puffy, red, from crying. Jongin’s heart sank deep into his stomach.
“Explain? How the hell can you explain something like this, when you’ve told me for two fucking years that you loved me?”
No reply.
“You can’t. Asshole, you lied to me.” His voice was venomous and shaky. “I can’t believe I was that vulnerable to think you loved me.”
“Hyung–”
“Will you shut up?! You don’t have to explain. You’re a fucking liar, and I was stupid enough to believe every word that came from your mouth.” Tears ran down Kyungsoo’s cheeks again. He avoided Jongin’s gaze, not seeing how Jongin’s eyes were glassy.
“Please, Kyungsoo-hyung. I–”
“Just go, Jongin.” Kyungsoo said, burying his face in his knees. “I don’t want to look at you, let alone talk to you, right now.”
A single tear fell from Jongin’s eye. He got up and left Kyungsoo alone in their room. He closed the door and slid down to the floor. He cried. Sobbed.
“Why am I such a fucking coward?”
