This is a much deserved blog dedicated to Roen Guerin (aka Swords), the best, cutest, most unnecessarily robbed contestant of Masterchef Junior. He was eliminated at the top 10 and the show has not been the same (read: as fun) since his tearful departure. With this blog, I intend on filling the Masterchef Junior tag with gifsets, photosets, and overall rants about Roen in hopes that he knows that he has always had my support and deserves all of it in the world. He will own his Japanese restaurant someday, I know it. Feel free to submit your own posts about Roen and how awesome he is. But keep your language PG because yeah, he's 12, but they're still kids like let's try to be somewhat professional and without swearing as much. #TeamRoen #TeamSwords

Team Zac for life ️❤️ he and Addison should've been final two even though I do love Avery too.
I just watched the masterchef junior and I am soooo upset that the remaining two children of color were eliminated AT THE SAME TIME. Zac is so talented and intelligent and respectful…he didnt deserve to go :(
#I'm v happy Amaya left though#I was nervous she had a shot and she really should've gone when Derek and Nate left she's done almost nothing but let me down#but Zaddison ;(#masterchef junior

I haven’t posted a lot about this season because I work all the time, but I feel like JJ and Jesse are gonna skate through this competition being good, but not really winning individual challenges and being recognized for them. Like Jesse was in the first episode, but I’m p sure most of us forgot what he did (sorry, buddy). But they’ve been on the winning team twice and they’ve shone in the past but they haven’t WON much, and I need them to either step it up or go at some point so Queen Addison can have less competition for her rightful trophy.
But really, these two boys. gonna skate.
And Ian is skating basically by his age and being on the winning team, and arguably being funny depending on who’s watching (it depends on the scene, but he’s kinda funny sometimes. there are just funnier characters that deserve(d) to outlast him. Kade, NATE, KYNDALL)
idek this season started out so good and now idk. But hopefully Kamilly gets airtime asap because she’s hilarious when she gets airtime.

Joe Bastianich is walking away from the MASTERCHEF franchise to spend more time with his restaurants and family.
“MASTERCHEF is a huge time commitment,” he says.
“My daughter is going to college. My son started high school. I wanted to have some more time to spend with them.”
Joe, who overseas a small empire of eateries all over the world, has spent much of the past few years living out of suitcases.
“I hardly ever cook,” he tells me. “I am usually in hotels eating muffin buffets!”
“One of the most satisfying experiences I have had in my life is the day of owning one restaurant — showing up in morning, writing the menu, putting the chairs down, greeting the customers, making them happy, finishing and having a glass of wine at the bar by myself.”
“Sometimes I feel like I don’t really do anything. I just kind of fly here and fly there.”

Was really interested to hear your thoughts about what happened on the show the last few episodes. Loved your predictions at the beginning. But then you went silent.
Yahhhh I've been working :( I live in Disney World it's hard to focus all the time.
Also I have yet to watch last week's episode and the week before, I watched two of my absolute favorites go home when honestly they both deserve to still be there over the probably-gonna-be final two. So I'm still kinda bitter about that tbh. I'll post maybe tonight about that episode but I still need to watch last week's.
Here's an update, nonnie, Lodaiah for final two. I'm nervous it won't happen since last year, Jack and Troy weren't final two and I was angry (although Troy deserved it I guess) but Lodaiah

Ahh okay. Good. Well, the viewers were vicious to Troy and it was unnecessary. Just so you know :) but yeah, I just made a few tweets saying to lay off the hate mail because what does that prove. I'm not jumping to team Samuel at all, but I think people need to chill.
Wow, people on Twitter are vicious…… You’re willing to call a 12 year old profanity OVER a TV show and we as a nation stand against bullying? What a joke! What if he saw your tweets? People can be so rude, my gosh

Preach, but lease tell me you're not one of the Troy Glass haters from last year because he got a legitimate edit in ONE EPISODE and tumlr tore him apart calling him a douchebag among other things and saying they hoped he got beat up for being mean to a nine year old. Because while I agree with you about Samuel and how people are taking it too far, I just wanna make sure you know how rude people were about Troy. Because the entire MCJ tag deserves to be taught a lesson
Samuel bugs, but from following Josh and Levi on Twitter/Instagram, he seems like he's a good kid. He's just coming across as cocky and pretentious on TV. But I agree, people need to chill.

Hahahaha remember when I thought they were gonna be tethered all episode or for the elimination challenge? whoops.
Ranking!
Levi - I was SO nervous he was in trouble because he was so quiet this week, but then came out and proved that you don't have to deconstruct anything to win a challenge! I'm so proud of him. I saw a few faces in the preview for the future so, personally, I'm really scared of the future there were about two faces I couldn't figure out), but I love him and I want him to win so badly.
Sean - Third episode where this kid wins. out of three. I think this a sign. Seam is big competition. Sean is also so cute and don't worry I didn't want Oona to go either sweetie it's okay <3 why does this kid not have a twitter (also why did he root for Scott on HK12 I'm let down about that but he's fine it's fine I just don't like Scott or HK12 in general)
Logan - He's adorable and funny and I'm happy he scored a win tonight!
Adaiah - Second win in a row again! I'm proud of her and I might want her and Levi to continue their consecutive wins to the finale. I might.
Josh - baby did so well this week <3 and he's cute and funny and precious and his voice cracks when he's nervous and let's adopt the kids for real.
Oona - I was nervous for Oona from the start but I'm happy she's safe. She's still really funny and precious and don't cry ever again angel don't <3 Also, Joe this episode <3 he's come a long way.
Abby - She'll probably never be my favorite, but she's adorable and I'm happy she got her wish about the boys leaving. Let's keep the rest sans #8 though because I don't wanna cry.
Samuel - I'm almost bored of him and there's nothing I hate more than the word "deconstructed" so blah. But if he and Levi can have their friendship on screen, go for it. Levi had the better sounding cupcakes, but Samuel's looked cuter I won't lie. What I'm hoping for with Samuel is that he won't make finals. One big controversy with Alexander last year was that he was the oldest so of course he was gonna do well and possibly win. Alexander had no competition age wise, and while Big Bow was a strong contender in the competition, he was in the top more often. And he was a year older. Samuel is 12 years old according to him and his bio. If this is all true, keep in mind that Levi, Adaiah, and Sean are all 12 years old on the show, and all of them have had more wins than he has, so they're all strong competition. Samuel is gonna go far, but this isn't necessarily his competition to lose just yet. He hasn't been cocky lately, so that's nice to hear, I just prefer everyone else at this point in the game. Also don't deconstruct anything anymore, Samuel, I'm so done with that.
Mixed feelings on the boot. Given the show and the edit and the competition, I wanted Sam to go because he was making the least amount of impact on me, but I didn't like seeing him cry and I thought it was adorable that he wanted to be a chef and a fashion designer. Mitchell, I've loved for a while, and his face when he realized he and Abby were in the top three teams was perfect. However, if they had to let go of another boy that wasn't Samuel, I guess that left Mitchell. And given the bottom three, no way I wanted Oona to leave before Mitchell. but it was still sad and I didn't ask for him to cry (SAME WITH JOSH WHY WAS HE UGH MY HEART).
Fox, though? Can we film this show in the summer from now on? I'm over this double elimination garbage. Do you know how much longer some of these kids would've made it if they weren't victims of a double elimination? Roen? Kaylen? Sofia? Gavin? Natalie? Mitchell? this group elimination is stupid let's cut that out.
In other news, my roommate watched the premiere of Babbychefs season 1, and it was so good seeing Roen again he's a perfect child <3 And Gavin kissing up to Joe never gets old. Gavin was robbed too, he was playing the game. It should've been Roen, Jack, Gavin, and either Troy or Dara in the final four.

Remember when "Whip It" aired last year and it was the worst ever? This year made up for that garbage.
Levi: I saw him smiling in the preview and immediately hoped he could snag a win, and thank god he did. Levi had the best sounding pie, he had the best looking pie, he had a good attitude going into his challenge, he's adorable, and I'm just really happy he exists. I was nervous they weren't gonna show his dish after Abby's was revealed because they made it seem like she set the bar, but he rocked it this week and I hope he rocks it every week. I'm definitely rooting for him to win this whole thing and I don't understand people who wouldn't be (although if your favorite is anyone from 2-5 on my ranking, I'll understand). Also, he dressed up as Graham Elliot for Halloween, I'm pretty sure your favorite could never.
Oona: She bombed the pancake challenge, but I'm happy she saved face in the cream pie challenge. Also she's adorable and I love her.
Sean: Sean keeps rising in my ranks. He made all the right decisions this week. As excited as I would've been to see Mitchell's pie, I'm happy he was saved so Levi could take that win instead. But really, Sean's adorable and smart and I'm happy he's been strong lately. Also the look on his face when he was contemplating dousing Joe in syrup was priceless.
Josh: So, he didn't do as well in the challenge and I'm nervous for him in this competition, but after that quote about not feeling comforted by key lime pie if he went home was perfect and I'm happy he stayed. I'm pretty confident that was one of the big reasons he stayed. Personally, I didn't think he belonged in the bottom four in the first place (we'll save that for later), but he's really entertaining so I think that's a big factor.
Logan: That side eye to Abby, that politics conversation with the judges, that smiley face on his pie, like I'm gonna have a hard time seeing him go early too. I couldn't judge his pie because I'm allergic to raspberries, but I'm happy he was safe.
Adaiah: She should be up higher due to her win, and I still love her, but I feel like she's not standing out as much. I'm happy she won the challenge with Levi, although I didn't remember seeing the judges put her cream pie in their mouths, but I'm nervous she'll be the next girl to go based on entertainment. But she deserves to stay a while longer. I'm bummed with who she's paired with in the next episode (not as bummed as Levi's partner though), but I like her and want her to stay.
Mitchell: I love Mitchell, but I'm nervous Mitchell's gonna get the Troy Glass edit soon. He was already snarking about upstairs with Sean about Samuxander's pie, and the preview has him and Abby butting heads, so I'm nervous about him. After the Sams go, I guess he'd be the next boy I'd be ready to let go, but I like him so it'll be sad.
Abby: She's adorable. I can't even deny this. I think she's mainly loved for being the baby of these babies, but she's still cute. And she wasn't nearly as annoying as Sarah was last year with that "whip it like a man!11!" garbage. I think Abby's genuine. I didn't want her to win this challenge though, and I was about to throw down the remote when it looked like she was gonna win it and they weren't gonna show Levi's. But she's still pretty precious.
Sam: I'm just indifferent to Sam. I'm happy he got airtime, but I wanted him to go over Natalie because at least we knew her. I do think he needs to stop wearing ties with tshirts though. Honey, buy a button down to wear your ties.
Samuel: You don't even know how many times I've accidentally called him "Alexander". Except Alexander was probably more humble. Samuel has a problem with overcomplicating things. First, sriracha foam. This week, grapefruit, rosewater, and mint dust? Personally, he should've been in the bottom four over Josh. Josh's crust was a mess, but they liked the rest of his pie. They hated Samuel's pie. I knew he wouldn't go home, but he should've been in trouble. He's just so annoying. And to the people complaining that people judge him too harshly and say that people shouldn't call him cocky because he's a child? Remember last year when every single one of you ripped Troy Glass apart for ONE EPISODE. ONE CHALLENGE. If people think Samuel is coming off as pretentious, they can say it. No one's calling him a bad kid. No one's calling him any swear words. Calm yourselves. You were the ones calling a 12 year old a douchebag last year (Team Troy, btw. Troy Glass is a treasure.). Anyway, back to Samuel. I have to root for him next week because I need Levi to win again. I don't wanna root for him, but I have to. Hopefully they work really well together, or if Samuel overcomplicates things, Levi can shut it down with class and they can still win. I think the overcomplicating is gonna be Samuel's downfall, but I also don't see him leaving soon. I do think it's cute that his mom is on instagram and I love how he's rooting for Levi, but he bugs me on TV. and I'm still finding it hard to believe he's not 15.
That being said, none of you better be sending Samuel hate tweets because that's mean and bullying and it's unacceptable.
I was fine with the elimination. Jessica made no impact on me either week (I liked her in that deleted scene though) and while I loved Natalie last week, I don't see how she mistook a grapefruit for an orange. Idc how old you are they're two entirely different sizes.
I think either Josh/Oona, Sam/Adaiah, or Mitchell/Abby are going next week. Judging from the delete scene, I think it'll be either M/A or J/O. If that's the case, hoping for M/A only because I love Josh and Oona.
Excited but scared for next week! I'll post something more fun and interactive later!

MasterChef Junior is usually the nicest show on TV, but there was some MAJOR SHADE being thrown last night.
(Oh, I’m now recapping MasterChef Junior for Decider.)
