Hana was flabbergasted when catching the sight of something that seemed to be chains or something similar of any sort. She silently watched as the other female took a hold of the green chain and wrapped it around one of her arms, seemingly to be able to take them away. She wondered for what those served and if all humans had that within them at all times, if they just sprouted it out once on the time of their death and if all had the same taint of green to them or if different people meant different colors.
“Strange. Not entirely calm, but surprised. First time I ever saw a chain alike that. For what it serves? I think that I am more curious than anything, which might be a bad thing, but at least I am not spiraling into the depths of my own experience with death. I know now that they all go somewhere and don’t really suffer once their time with me has passed.” Hana answered as she followed the other close by and tried from time to time look behind them so to see if the soul or chain would follow.
Feeling the ghost like chain around her arm slowly fade away Miru lets her hand slip down from Hana’s wrist to hold her hand. “.. You have one too, a chain. Everyone does.” It was practically one’s soul, the thing that would tie them down to the underworld. Though Miru could somewhat bring someone back, once their soul was tied down there they never truly were able to fully come back. “As long as you stay with me I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen to you.” She looks over her shoulder to Hana, sending her a soft yet somewhat cryptic smile. Miru would keep Hana.. as close as she could. Very close. It was a guarantee what she was doing was pissing off the so called devil and gods above, but Miru could care less right now. Slowing down their pace Death keeps Hana beside her as they walk along the city streets, “Are you hungry?”

Listened to him carefully, the concern and uneasiness could be seen through his eyes. His words more like giving Jaechan reassurance they seemed to be for him, a way to convince himself that everything was okay when he knew it wasn’t. The closest to a sibling was his best friend and to understand more what he was feeling, he imagined how he’d feel if his best friend did that as well.
“It’s normal to be worried when you know she has been through a lot, it’s like… a protection instinct.” It was okay to be concerned, it was okay to be anxious, it proved how deeply he cared for her but it wasn’t okay how she didn’t know how her actions were affecting her beloved ones but Jaechan wouldn’t say anything, it was not relevant to give his opinion.
“I hope she calls you soon because you won’t rest well until then, look how distracted and bad you look.” The last few words were just to tease and brighten up the mood a little bit. He smiled softly, placing a hand on his upper arm.
Chuckling at Jaechan teasingly calling him out Taehyung rubs the back of his neck as a lighter smile appears on his lips thanks to the other’s words. “It’s that bad huh.” He jests back whilst ruffling his own hair. Shifting in his own seat he glances at his watch. “But, other than all that worry, how does lunch sound? On me.” Taehyung asks Jaechan once more. More than just to make up for this somber moment that just passed, the barista was looking forward to catching up with Jaechan more and not just talk about himself. For sure after this he’d take Jaechan’s words into account and review how he’d been acting towards everyone lately.

“Oh wow, I didn’t expect that. Mind if I snack you up as well for dinner as well, or you will want that time for yourself instead?” Hwasa snickered as she grinned from ear to ear and didn’t lost any time to slyly ask her to join on dinner as well and wrapped one arm around the latter’s waist.
“Let me spoil you today with lots of food and maybe more. Do you also like amusement parks? If not we can just indeed stay by the place you spoke about, but if not we could go in for a rumble.”
Though if anyone had ever slid up beside her and wrapped their arm around her at the bar Ryujin would have kindly pushed them off, a part of her figured that she really wouldn’t mind being hip to hip with Hwasa. Subtly leaning slightly into her hold, the bar owner shrugs softly though she wears a smile on her lips, “I don’t mind dinner with you.” She mentally excuses that Hwasa was just lucky she had closed the bar for the night and was free. “Amusement park?” Ryujin knew there was one nearby, but it had been.... quite some time since she had ever been to one, the last time she recalled going to such a place was when she was just a kid years ago. “.. Sure, let’s go check it out after lunch.”

“Alright, hit me up, what is the order?” He asked and jumped behind the bar next to his friend with a big grin. This could give some publicity as well he knew. Wether it would be good or not depended on what he did and how he did it. He grinned taking a bottle, ready to go. “Anyone want a Izumi special?”
Reaching over to grab the white ticket atop the tray Jozlyn had dropped by just moments ago, Dante sets it behind the bar atop the counter there and runs his finger over the black penned words. “We’ve got a long island iced tea, two vodka margaritas and a cosmo.” Deciding to begin with the cosmo he grabs the various drinks and sliding them over in front of Izumi. Filling the mixer halfway with ice he hands it over to the other, watching with attentive eyes beside him whilst sliding over a little sheet filled with the necessary steps in making the various drinks they serve. “Go ahead for that one.” He points to a bold “Cosmo” with a list of steps beneath it.

🥀 ━ She nodded releasing a soft hum after. “Well, you picked the perfect place I suppose.” JIah took another sip of what remained of her tea, setting the cup down on the coffee table. Placing her hands on her lap giving her best eye smile to Dante. “So does that mean you’ll spoil me in whatever I want? that’s good to know.” She said in a teasing way. Clearing her throat at the next set of words that came out of his mouth – her features turned serious now and didn’t want to think so much about what transpired earlier. Jiah didn’t want anyone getting hurt and over the years she’s learned to have some sort of sympathy towards those worthy individuals, like Dante for example.
“I’ve said this far too much this evening, I appreciate you helping me but of course I don’t want you winning my battles. Really, I’m grateful. I just don’t want to see you get hurt because of me. I can’t say trouble won’t find me but I’ll try my best not getting involved in it. I’m really a tough cookie – however, I’ll come to you if and when I really do need you. And thank you for staying a little longer to have tea with me. Hopefully we get to do this again.” she gave Dante another smile, softer this time – jiah hoped that those men obviously sent by her “ex” didn’t find him and hurt him. It would hurt her tremendously if something would ever happen to Dante. “thank you for being a sweetheart…”
Though a part of him wanted to insist that he didn’t mind -- because he really didn’t -- Dante wasn’t going to push anything; but he’d leave it open for Jiah to know that he was there if she needed him. He was one to help out bar patrons here and there when something came up at the bar, but perhaps this was a bit out of the ordinary for him with extending his help this far. But then again, if he wasn’t keen on helping then he probably wouldn’t be sat on Jiah’s couch right now. And so, Dante simply nods before taking another sip of his now cooled tea. His eyes widen slightly at her final words however as her words about him being a sweetheart.. catch him off guard to say the least. “Ah... no no, I just don’t mind helping out.” He wasn’t one to say no to easy requests either, Dante didn’t fuss much overall over much of anything. “If I ain’t ever at the bar either, the others there are great.” Especially the girls aka his boss and the others, they could hold their own and kick ass themselves as well. “You’re welcome any time.”

❛ Of course I would .. it’s the least I can do after all. ❜ Risa was always the helpful type , though it wasn’t often she got the chance to act on it completely. Her fingers tapped lightly against the counter top , wondering if she should finish the plate before her. She had been trying to watch what she ate lately , but considering she would be wandering around Seoul for the next week on jobs gave her a bit of relief. She lifted her fork again and took a few more bites before humming softly under her breath. ❛ Whenever you have time. Please don’t go out of your way for me. ❜ She smiles lightly , reaching a hand forward to lightly tap the underside of Greyson’s chin. At the question she pulled back slowly , giving a small shrug of her shoulders in the process. ❛ Busy .. people are having a lot more winter weddings this year so i’ve been running around. But i’ve been doing a lot more with my videos online too. I’m just happy there are things to keep me busy. ❜
For sure Greyson would have Risa booked -- for whenever she was free and didn’t mind coming in of course -- to come in a try any of their future menu items. Contrary to what some might think, he was doing it more out of thanks than for publicity. At the light tap along the underside of his chin the restaurant owner chuckles lightly as his smile widens slightly, all of his attention currently to the woman sat before her. “Ah, that sure does sound busy.” Greyson was well aware of Risa’s ever so busy schedule and hearing it from the latter himself somewhat soothed the mild worries he had about her not resting properly. “Be sure to rest well, if you ever need somewhere to hide out at feel free to drop by.” Though he was the owner of various businesses, that didn’t mean everyone knew who he was. Risa in comparison was much more out there with posting videos online and having an audience that spanned much further across the world.

“You’re a strong person for thinking that way, if you truly do, then. Losing someone is never easy to accept or even understand. Mainly when someone escapes through our fingers alike sand.” Hwasa curled her fingers around Ryujin’s with a sad smile to offer, thinking that it was no need to say that she also had similar circumstances, seeing her words and face now revealed it themselves.
“Either way, let’s indeed change topic! Should we really go just for a snack and a drink when getting there or have a proper meal? Are you hungry?” The raven haired curvy female lead through the place and then out into the streets, while still holding her hand.
Following Hwasa’s lead out from wherever they had been exactly, Ryujin hums in thought. “Just a light snack? I gave everyone the day off tomorrow and the bar’s closed then so I’ll have dinner later on.” She reasons aloud. If it were any other day the bar owner would have the place open for business tomorrow but with everything that happened Ryujin wasn’t too keen on having anyone come back just yet to try anything else with her employees. That didn’t mean she didn’t trust Hwasa’s words that she would take care of it however; Ryujin partly just wanted to give her crew an extra off day. They deserved it. “I’m a night owl, of course, so dinner will probably have to be later on. I’ll snack here and there.”

🥀 ━ She nods lightly as he answered her question with slight hesitation. Jiah understood that, sometimes it was hard going into details about ones past or having the will to share anything. It was better to speak of the present and or other topics than bring out old skeletons from the closet. “Its alright, just know that you don’t have to go into details. I understand you..” She smiled at him nonetheless making sure she didn’t cross any boundaries with Dante ; all she wanted was make him feel at ease and at home. Just when he spoke again, revealing a little bit of information, her attention was fully on him. “Tokyo is a wonderful place, a lot of friendly and upbeat people. Thank you for sharing that part of yourself to me ; what made you want to venture out elsewhere?” her curiosity returning, waving her hand lightly. “Again don’t feel obligated to answer anything if you don’t want to.”
Jiah took another long sip of her now warm tea – it was the first time in days since he even gave a peep of laughter. Dante has been so serious since she met him, hearing him laugh was a treat indeed. “Really? …well in that case you wouldn’t have liked me very much then. I was too out there with people.” Jiah didn’t want to go further and she was sure that those last words, Dante understood what she meant. “I’m not the kind to make friends so easily, I’ve gained acquaintances here and there but I suppose my poor choices caught up with me which has led me to get into trouble or into situations I never wanted to experience ; but that’s the whole part of ‘a lesson learned’ and I very glad you consider me as a friend. I wasn’t sure how else I could ask, people like you are hard to find in the world.” She reached over placing her hand over his. “You’re a wonderful guy.” Jiah gave him a heartwarming smile and gave him a quick friendly peck on the cheek. “Don’t worry, that’s about how far I would go. So, please all I ask is to smile more and give me loads of attention.”
“I.. just wanted a change of scenery I guess.” He says with a small shrug. It was mostly true, a blanket statement at best. Reasoning why Dante left weren’t things he exactly wanted to talk about every other day if any day at all. Occasionally he and Jackson would speak about life back in Japan running with the gangs but the both of their stories ended with them having a much needed and wanted scenery change. People like him? He wasn’t really anything, he was just.. him. A man with a mistake filled past he sometimes wanted to wish wasn’t there. But wishing never got him anywhere. Shaking her head he can’t help another shrug, “Who would I be to tell you no.” Dante wasn’t objecting to them being friends at all, but there were high chances his walls would just stay stuck up; it was just how it was. Those he did share to only ever heard his story once -- with exception to Jackson. “If something ever comes up, call me. If he shows up again or something.” One thing he was thankful for when it came to his past; he didn’t run from a fight.

“i haven’t changed really. my face is always the same, you just get to see it at different stages and not in proper chronologically logical order.” selene said and without even thinking she hugged her friend once again. she had really missed her and that was the only way her feelings would be conveyed to her. “you are as beautiful as always. but that is to be expected! when will you by mine?!” she teased playfully the other. of course she was jesting.
““kyoto is great. i love kyoto especially the sweets there. the food is also better than in tokyo, it was less strong flavors which i have always preferred..” of course as the other asked about kids she also expected to be asked the exact same question and by that point selene could also take that as a joke given that she had already given birth to enough daughters and sons about two thousand years ago. “don’t be crazy you think i would have more kids now? i barely managed to take care of the ones back then. no need for more. after endora i think i cannot handle another kid. the most difficult kid i have ever given birth too and as sassy as a thousand me’s together.” she laughed lightly at that description. after all, it was true.
“haven’t dated someone in a while either. last time i was in a relationship with a vampire but… i ended up dying so… by the way have you ordered anything to eat or do you want to eat together. i want to listen to your exciting adventure stories!”
Letting out a soft laugh at Selene’s excitement and constant chatter, Yura welcomes all of it with a smile. Though she already felt welcome at the hotel, knowing and being close to the owner had its perks. It had been quite sometime since she had last stayed much less visited and seen Selene, but Yura herself was one to stray a bit farther from places some would call home. The inviting nature of the hotel was always drew her back to it ever few centuries. But this case was a bit different, she had to hide in this case and the hotel was just perfect. Setting the towel aside Yura searches through her open suitcase just next to the bed for a sweater as she glances over to Selene with a smile, “I haven’t eaten yet, haven’t all day.” Aka she was scrambling around all day until she got to the hotel. Human securities and all were getting a bit better every century. Slipping the sweater on she opts to let the older woman choose, “Is there something you recommend me try? Anything new from the last time I was here?”

“Don’t worry, I’ll teach you!” Sakura exclaims in excitement. She has been teaching kids as well and even though they’re on a higher level than Jozlyn, Sakura is very patient. Tightening her hold on Jozlyn’s hand a little, she gently tugs her along with her before guiding her to take a seat on one of the benches. She then releases the other’s hand before rushing away for a short moment to grab a pair of skates for the other. “Here you go.” Sakura comments, placing them down in front of her before taking a seat herself and sliding her feet into her own skates. “I hope you’re excited, because I am.”
Sitting on the cold bench, Jozlyn stops herself from flinching at the cold metal that meets her bottom. Letting Sakura take off to go get the skates the bartender’s eyes drift back to the large ice rink before her, letting out a soft “oh” in awe. Not expecting it to be as cold as it was inside the ice rink, Jozlyn has to stuff her hands in the pockets of her jacket. Tapping her feet against the cement ground beneath her she turns to face Sakura as soon as she hears her voice, her eyes locked on the pair of skates in her hand that end up in front of her. Following after the ice skater Jozlyn slips off her own shoes and puts on the ice skates before coming to a stop and hesitating for a moment, “.. Is there a special way I need to tie these?” For all she knew there could be and the last thing she wanted to do was trip on the ice rink because of an untied ice skate.

“you’re a fool and awful at this, you know that right?” hyunah raises her eyebrow as she continues to lecture her older sister, “you should have spent a bit more with her, get to know her a bit. she’s probably going to think you’re after her number or some shit– god, you got the brains but you have no flirting skills.” chaerin is quick to roll her eyes at her sister’s remark. she did have the flirting skills, hence how she got to the top in the cia but that was a topic chaerin didn’t discuss - it was best left behind. “i offered her to come with me to the states for a week. you still think i am playing around?” she raises her eyebrows and glances over at hyunah before taking a quick sip of her drink. “… you did not… you fucked it, that’s what you did.” hyunah shakes her head incredulous. “you’re lucky your name is printed everywhere in the fucking states so when she googles you, she’ll see you were honest. what’s so special about her anyway? she’s just a bar singer. you can do so much more than that.” she could. chaerin recognised that, but sometimes the heart wants what it wants and when she glanced at eunbi, it said it wanted her in that moment, so chaerin decided to take it. what was so wrong about that? “haven’t you got somewhere else to be? where’s your bad boy at?” almost as if on cue, hyunah stands up and fixes up her dress, “he’s right there. text me if you need me, see you at home.” hyunah presses a kiss to chaerin’s cheek before wandering off, meanwhile the director’s eyes locked on the female back on stage. would the girl take it, or would she not; she’d have to wait to find out though honestly, she wanted to give the female a quick apology for her impulsiveness she really should’ve approached it a touch differently.
The one thing that could get her mind off of everything that was going on was work, singing, something. Standing up on stage Eunbi was just a little different, a little more preserved yet bared almost everything when she needed to. Who was going to listen to someone sing when they didn’t mean a word they were saying? For half the time she sits, the other half she stands; going on for a calm and soothing hour and a half before calling it off. Considering that Eunbi was singing all night Ryujin typically had her hours somewhat cut down, if she worked a full night of 7pm to 3am then Eunbi would only sing for at most three hours or so. The rest of the time the bar singer only felt it right to keep working, usually manning the bar whilst everyone else had to do whatever it was they had to do. Giving out her typical thanks for everyone there who had listened Eunbi steps off the stage with a polite smile. Glancing over to spot a familiar silver head of hair the bar singer finds herself walking automatically -- away from Chaerin and towards the locker room located on the opposite side the said CIA agent sits. Changing right away from her more casual wear into the more uniformed -- well for her at least -- white dress shirt tucked into black skinny jeans Eunbi leaves the room in the midst of tying her hair up. “Unnie,” Eunbi calls out, catching her boss by the fingertips as she passes by. “I’m going to man the bar with Jackie.” Getting a quiet “yes” accompanied by a soft smile and pat on the arm in return Eunbi’s smile widens. Being around her co-workers -- no, friends always seemed to help in some way; and knowing that Jackson would be behind the bar with her would make it all the better thanks to the guy’s tendency to talk talk talk. With a quick wash of her hands the bar singer slips into bartender mode, gracefully finding her way around behind the bar as she fulfills orders for tables and single orders.

eunbi. she’d keep that it mind for sure. hearing the latter pretty much ask for her name, chaerin can’t help the chuckle - the female didn’t recognise her at all, good. perhaps if she mentioned her siblings the latter would recall her; after all hyunah and hyoyeon achieved far more fame in korea than she had. “chaerin. not at a disadvantage now, are you?” she grabs on to the glass and takes a rather large sip of it, doing her very best to ignore hyunah’s more than obvious hand gestures telling her to just go for it. well, chaerin didn’t quite work like that. she liked getting inside the other’s head before getting anywhere near physical, hyunah worked the other way round, of course. “yeah it is, and i have two so check me out.” she glances down at the latter’s glass before looking up at her features. “the states are really nice. i work out there, so i am rarely ever here in seoul.” chaerin explains before leaning just a touch closer to the girl’s ear, “if you’d like, you could come with me for a week.”
perhaps she’s offering too much on the go, but it was worth a shot. pulling back she glances over at the girl with a smile before shrugging ever so lightly. “before you think something else, i work for the cia.” not that that meant shit but well - at least she wasn’t out there shooting people right and left. “i’ll let you think about it, yeah?” reaching inside her pocket, chaerin pulls out a business card with her number on it. “if you make your mind up and want to come along, give me a call. or text me, that works well for me too.” perhaps the mystery factor would have the other inclined to come along with her, who knew. “i’ll stop bothering you, don’t drink too much or your voice will start going, i’ll be keeping an eye on you, eunbi.” when the other went back on the stage that was. chaerin held on to her drink and quickly slid past the girl to head back to the couch next to hyunah with a small smirk playing on her lips. “see? i am no pussy.” she nudges her sister who is a little too busy scolding her for having left the girl’s side so soon. “shut up. i have a feeling about this, and who’s the investigator here? exactly, so shush.”
Chaerin.. A fitting name. A name she already felt she would come to remember. Though if her name wasn’t memorable enough the proposition Chaerin gives her makes her raise an eyebrow and stop the swirling of her glass. That was.. impulsive? Questionable? Odd? Interesting? Let’s just call it everything for now. She could only take the latter’s word for it that she worked with the CIA, but Eunbi had encountered enough guys playing investigator or cop to try and grab her number. Silently nodding the bar singer almost says a “yes” or a “no” right away, whatever would have left her lips though she pushes herself not to. Taking a look at the card atop the bar right beside her glass Eunbi is tempted to run to the locker room and pull out her phone to google the name plastered on the card; but right now she couldn’t be f-- to. Frowning softly the bar singer drags the edge of the card along her fingers, mind spiraling deep in thought before pushing her half empty glass away. Some might have drank to pretend things didn’t happen, that wasn’t the case with Eunbi. She knew she wasn’t dreaming. And in her mind she was somewhat already planning to accept because apparently, why the hell not? It could also serve as a perfect way to get as far from her parents as possible. For now at least. Getting up and pocketing the card in her back pocket Eunbi heads back over to the stage, giving the crowd a smile. “Due to a change in plans, my break is cut short.” Cut short by herself. Ryujin would probably ask about it later. “So here we go.”

good taste right off the bat. chaerin looks over at the bartender and gives her a nod to confirm the other’s request as if it were her own. briefly catching up on the conversation between the two, chaerin is able to put together the fact that the bartender is also the owner of the bar or at least the one in charge for said shift. smiling down at the counter as she notices the other bat her lashes at the female, chaerin maintains her silence. could the girl be any cuter really? what the fuck was she doing messing around with innocent people like that, since when did she even get mildly interested in whoever it was? chaerin’s interests lie in wealth, living comfortably - not a two-legged being. mentally scolding herself, chaerin hears the glass being placed before her and looks up before sparing the girl another look. “i won’t bite you, just thought i would pay the cute looking singer a drink.” she vocalises, a somewhat innocent smile tugging at the corner’s of her lips, “you have a beautiful voice… i didn’t catch your name?” sparing her previous sitting spot a look she sees hyunah teasingly clapping and can’t help the small chuckle before turning her attention to the girl. “i’m sorry, my sister is over there doing some weird shit that is going to definitely get her ass kicked later on.” she excuses herself before quickly managing to pull herself together, “that’s one of my favourite cocktails too. i drink plenty of those over in the states.” hence why she was now sticking to a korean cocktail - something she wouldn’t have on a daily basis. “have you ever been to the states before?”
Though she’s a bit torn on whether to accept the drink Eunbi does with a slightly wider smile. A part of her wasn’t too keen on drinking tonight but the bar singer knew her limits, besides what was bad with accepting a drink made and given to her right before her eyes from a pretty woman? That was probably a bad philosophy, but it’d do for Eunbi for now. Hearing the woman call her cute the bar singer can’t help but let out the softest of chuckles. She knew she could play up a few things here and there but when it came down to it she wasn’t too much of a cute flower girl. But if the compliment was coming from this stunning woman than she would take every single one. “.. Eunbi.” She says with a gentle smile, taking a long sip of her drink. “And you have me at a disadvantage now...” Eunbi trails off, glancing at the woman and silently asking for a name in return. Sister? Weird shit? Eunbi knew all about that. An almost laugh escapes her lips as she covers it with her palm, shaking her head. “That’s sisters for you isn’t it?” With that thought in mind Eunbi almost already begins contemplating making plans to go see her younger sibling -- before abruptly scrapping it from her mind. Visiting her younger sister now meant visiting her parents and that.. wasn’t going to happen. Swirling the alcoholic drink in its glass she somewhat wishes she was behind the bar tonight instead. Perhaps if she were then she’d be the one serving this woman in particular. “No, I’ve never been.” She lets out softly, “But it’s always been a vacation I’ve had in mind. How is it there?”I

what some people would call a break, chaerin called work - whether it was in the states or in seoul, she was always on the move. deciding to take her sister hyunah out for a drink since the last time she’d been in seoul had been quite some time ago, chaerin decides to stick to a known but unusual bar. typically the sisters would opt for fancier, sophisticated, rich but sometimes keeping it on the down low was a good idea for business, especially the one they had at hands. “hyo should be coming over in a few d…ays… are you listening to anything i am saying? you’re practically eating the poor girl with your eyes.” hyunah teases her older sibling with a small nudge before chaerin drops her hand atop the latter’s thigh with a somewhat harsh but playful slap. “i am not doing anything at all, she just sings well. you were saying hyo is coming over in a few days?” she glances back to spot the female jumping off from the stage and heading over to the bar. chaerin practically scans her from top to bottom, and hyunah was no fool - she knew her sister well enough to know when the latter was interested in what she saw. nearing the edge of the couch they sat side-by-side on, hyunah leans closer to chaerin’s ear. “i’m just going to give hyo a call see how she’s doing, and if when i am back you’re still sat here, i’m hitting on her myself.” the small smirk on hyunah’s knowing lips is enough to have chaerin sighing - worst part was, she knew hyunah would do that just to poke a nerve. fuck. getting up from her sit the second her sister walks off, chaerin approaches the bar leaning briefly against it near enough to the singer. “can i get a baijiu cocktail and…” turning to look over at the female, chaerin smiles ever so slightly before speaking up, “what do you drink, beautiful?” a little charming here and there never hurt anyone, and really she wasn’t going to risk hyunah coming back and getting it her way because she’d witnessed it plenty of times before, hyunah was rather good at it.
Rather mindlessly ghosting her fingertip along the rim of her glass Eunbi looks up at the voice beside her. She’d be lying if the woman beside her didn’t catch her attention right away and make her lips tug up into a slightly wider smile than it already was. “.. Sex on the beach.” If she wasn’t working and was having it even rougher than she was already feeling it would probably be straight whiskey. Taking a sip of her drink Eunbi has to seemingly tear her eyes and mind away from the silver haired woman, smiling at her boss now serving the patron beside her. “Unnie you think I could pull a bit of a longer break?” She even bats her eyelashes though she knew she didn’t need to as she pulls a soft chuckle from Ryujin who nods. “There’s no rush tonight, go for it.” Ryujin says, eyes glancing from her employee to the silver haired woman who she sets her ordered drinks down in front of. Reaching out to affectionately tap the younger’s cheek Ryujin slides back down the bar to tend to another patron. Though Eunbi was of course told and knew that tonight was one of the less busy ones she noticed how the rest of her co-workers were off doing something, she couldn’t even go and steal Jozlyn for a bit to talk if she wanted to. Taking another, longer sip of her drink Eunbi rests her chin atop her open palm, eyes occasionally drifting back to the woman beside her.

new starter for @rundcvil based off prior plotting - chaerinXeunbi
Just a quarter way through the night and for some reason tonight Eunbi was feeling a bit.. off. She had her off days, such as this one, and usually she would manage to brush it off. But tonight it just seemed to loom over her like a giant shadow she just couldn’t get rid of. Perhaps it was the million and one phone calls her mother had made to her last night; she didn’t answer any of them. If anything the bar singer was becoming more and more inclined to change her phone number. Tapping her fingers along the end of the microphone she sends the bar patrons all a soft smile before mentioning a quick fifteen minute break. Stepping off the well lit stage she slips a hand in and through her blonde hair and lets out the softest of sighs. Eunbi was tempted to just ask for the rest of the night off but considering that tomorrow was Monday and she would have been off either way, she didn’t think it right to bother Ryujin about it. Instead the bar singer takes a seat at the bar top, not wanting to make the trek all the way to the staff locker room right now. Not even needing to order a familiar face appears before her from behind the counter, the oh so contagious smile Jackson sends her brings a small one out of her as he sets a drink in front of her before moving on. It already felt like it was going to be a long night.

{●} — He had been on his way home from another security detail, working the evening shift. Usually on his way home, nothing eventful happened. This was not one of those usual nights. Yoongi didn’t exactly know what had been going on, but he had enough people knowledge to see which person he should be helping out.
Yoongi wasn’t the type of person to simply stand by and watch. That wasn’t what you were taught in the army. Despite those days being behind him, Yoongi still tried to live up to the standards and principles he had back then. Which meant helping those who could use it.
When it was just the two of then left, Yoongi shrugged it off. “It’s really not much of a big deal. Glad to help.” He smiled, accepting the muffin. He wasn’t one to say no to people when they gifted him with such small things. Besides it could make for a good dessert after a long day.
“Why were they after you to begin with?” Yoongi asked, unable to hide his curiosity. It wasn’t as if he would pass the information along to Alaina whom he worked with at the police precinct. And he had no jurisdiction and couldn’t arrest people. He was just trying to make sure there wouldn’t be more trouble in the neighbourhood.
Swallowing the lump in his throat Taehyung keeps his eyes shifting from everything and everywhere but the man sat beside him as he nods. Thankfully he didn’t have a roommate or anything like that so the extra muffin was just something quick for breakfast tomorrow morning; but now he figured he’d be making breakfast tomorrow morning after all. Taking a bite of his own muffin the barista reaches to pat the backpack beside him, “I just got off of work, that little cafe near where I ran into them. They were trying to.. mug me, rob me or whatever you call it..” He says with a slightly shaky tone, not wanting to give the impression that he was perfectly fine with it all. “They didn’t get anything, I ran before they could but.. yeah.” Hunching his shoulders in an uncomfortable shrug Taehyung finally glances at the man who had helped him now sitting beside him. “Thanks again..”

nodding at her lover’s question, her hold loosens a little as her girlfriend gets the memo and holds her a little closer. mei knew how her pup worked; she knew the small one had grown attached to her and she was partially to blame for it. babying the pet made him get more attached than he probably should be, but he was obedient and loving so that was that. settling down, the prosecutor keeps herself close to her girlfriend finding comfort in her hold rather than the warm covers above the two of them. keeping her arm around eva’s waist, her fingers unconsciously brushed her lower back distractedly. having no idea what day and time it was made her realise that she probably… well, she was really no good. eva had told her about, eva had pre-warned her that days like that could happen and mei showed no disapproving signs in the slightest; mainly because she’d made eva promise that this one would reach out for her everyday, whether it was a call or text. eva promised, and eva broke it - and somewhere down the line… she’d somewhat broken the prosecutor too. not knowing of her girlfriend’s whereabouts drove her crazy. mei herself tried to track down her girlfriend but her scent only went so far before it vanished, out of trace. it was scary to know that eva could be hurt, and even more scary to know that…. she’d probably never see her again. the thought has her holding on a little tighter, hoping the other doesn’t just vanish from her hold.
It isn’t too hard for Eva to pick up on the fact that Mei holds her just a little bit tighter, pulls her a little bit closer, and presses in to her hold just a bit more than before. Shifting to allow the older woman to do just that, Eva presses a tender kiss atop her head, muttering silent apologies in her head. Though spoken apologies were sure to come the hitwoman wasn’t too sure if her lover could take too much right now, and thinking about apologies wouldn’t help her head out any bit. The pianist stays quiet, sharing a silence with Mei that she hopes only helps instead of making the situation worse. She knew what she had done. She had promised to text, email, call, send some sign to her lover to tell her she was okay, but Eva just couldn’t. A part of her just couldn’t do it. Maybe even didn’t want to. The hitwoman wanted to cut Mei out and away from that part of her life though their professions undoubtedly clashed somewhere down the line no matter what. But still, after that one time that her work had collided with Mei in their personal lives.. she didn’t want to risk it again. Eva had a choice she still kept in her pocket; she could leave this all behind and stay with Mei, she could juggle both sides of the law while trying to keep her head on her shoulders as well as Mei’s, or leave Mei behind. That last option wasn’t even an option at this point. But there was always a little lingering voice in her head that just knew her lover would be safe far away from herself.
