 songs be damned, the cassette could be recordings of construction site noise and kon would still claim this his favorite gift. it really is the thought that counts, and the fact that terry taught himself how to do this ( even if CD’s would have sufficed ) - it means a lot for a shameless romantic like him. terry made this; put thought and care and determination into creating this thing just for him.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: hmm lemmie talk about yj!dickie since he’s a bit different. oh god did i love him. it prob didn’t help that he was voiced by you know who but i was instantly in love. it’s so weird because when yj first aired i was only like two years older than dick was in the series those were good times. Anyway i think yj did a good job portraying dick, that he’s not always this goofy kid and shows that he does have other feelings he’s not just a one dimensional character? YJ got me back into DC and Dick was basically the reason I stayed. I think maybe my fav animated version of him tbh.How they play them: 20/10 i couldn’t ask for a more accurate dickieThe Mun: Dami is so funny and I appreciate being able to talk about silly things or how our great our muses work together. plus we got a lot of common outside of this fandom so It’s such a joy.

Never be a paranoid, crazy old coot who can’t trust his own teammates. AND!!! Terry wants to prove bruce wrong so bad because he wants to believe that there are better ways to handle certain situations. To prove to bruce once and for all that he can be a batman with a different code/set of morals without getting ANYONE hurt ( emotionally or physically ). Batman doesn’t need to be a coldhearted person who pushes others away because people can’t be “trusted completely”. But it’s that naivety that will probably get terry killed one day tbh and bruce like always will be like ‘I told you so mcginnis’.
