I also love the ship of Doug X Roger! I’ve always wanted to make a comic of them. It’s about them being middle aged adults with kids that happen to cross paths after a long time of not seeing each other. They end up living together because of Doug’s financial instability as an artist. Roger has always adored Doug. Then Doug slowly realizes he likes Roger back. What do you think?

What do you think of Doug Kids (scrapped Doug revival)

I’d imagine you have a lot to say about characters and the setting of the series.

Doug and Patti, Skeeter and Beebe are married.

As of now Doug and Patti has 2 kids, Yancey and Doug Jr.

Skeeter and Beebe have one son and his name is Moss

Roger also has a daughter but her name wasn’t revealed and it’s also unclear if Roger is married or divorced. And all the names were revealed by Jim Jinkins himself btw lol

Judy seems like she made big in theater.

you can also see Dirtbike is all grown up too.

Chalky is also there for some reason lol

Porkchop manages to surpass his life expectancy and even has a pup of his own.

I think that’s pretty all the stuff we got so far. I’m still not sure if the show will ever materialize and it’s also unlikely that Nickelodeon will involve in production since it was pitched by a Disney executive.

i haven’t been super active in this fandom lately and i heard of this awhile ago but i haven’t collected many thoughts on it, but!!

i really do like that we get to see cleo grown up personally (i never posted it but i did draw concepts of cleo and dale as preteens, similar to doug and roger’s age in show).

i’m also surprised doug and patti end up married cuz i could have sworn i read somewhere that it was jim’s intention to not have them get together? maybe that’s why it’s a scrapped concept lol (could be wrong tho!).

personally i can’t say i *do* have many other thoughts on doug’s kids unfortunately :((. i like doug and patti’s design, as well as cleo’s. idk if i’ve ever seen roger being one to have a kid but i’m surprised he does? i do like her design tho so i might draw fanart of them all in the future.

and thank you; i appreciate that you’ve enjoyed my art ^^! i swear i’ll draw more in the future,, maybe if we’re lucky i’ll do comics or smth lol.

to all the unanswered questions in my inbox i am sorry for not answering and i still do not have the energy to lolz.

Omg. I just discovered your blog. I thought no one shipped Doger. I went back and rewatched episodes with Roger a few years ago and I was like, my god, Roger has such a massive stupid crush on Doug, how did they allow this on Nickelodeon in the 90s?? (Also finding out it’s the same voice actor, at least pre-Disney, completely blew my mind).

And your art is beautiful, the varying levels of realism all look great. Everything I could wish for 🥰🥰🥰

thank you! and believe me, i know exactly how you feel. the whole reason i started posting was in hopes i’d get more people to get a look into doug and then maybe produce doger work with me, lol.

while this is probably something that Doug would experience, it happened to me when I was in around the 3rd grade.

I would always act weird around my childhood crush who I will name Patti lol.

She was basically frustrated about the this kid that we knew since 2nd grade because around a year later, he slowly became an asshole towards few people. While she vented her frustration to me, I was mostly got distracted of her standing right next to me. I tried my best to pay remain attention on what she say so I wouldn’t make her think I was pretending to listen or just blatantly ignored her.

I’ll probably make more story time post with sketches feature Doug characters lol. If you wanna hear more.
