Insult, humiliation, threats, ignore- is this a bullying?
Since I have been bullied by many kids, I would also like to share my experience. Bullying is defined in many different ways.  Bullying is when people repeatedly and intentionally used words or actions against someone or a group of people to cause distress and risk to their well being. These actions are usually done by people who have more influence or power over someone or want to make someone feel less powerful and helpless. Bullying is not the same as conflict between people like having  fight or disliking someone, even though people might bully each other because of conflict or dislike. Keeping someone out of a group online or offline, acting in an unpleasant way near or towards someone, giving nasty looks, making rude gestures, and calling names is bullying. Bullying refers to aggressive behavior so as to dominate the other person. It refers to the coercion of power over others so that one individual can dominate others. It is an act that is not one time, instead, it keeps on repeating over frequent intervals. The person who bullies others can be termed s bullies, who make fun of others due to several reasons. Bullying is a result of someone’s perception of the imbalance of power. Bullying is to harm, persecute and seek to intimidate someone. Intimidating is frightening someone especially in order to make someone do what you tell them to do. Bullying occurs in many different settings, like in school, playground, home, etc. In ancient times, the word bullying means an excellent person. Nowadays, bullying usually means someone who hurts those weaker than them. The word bullying can be used as an adjective, but it does not mean what you think it means. There was this saying “bully for you”, which many don’t know that it means “good for you”. Bullying is a behavior that most of the students do to make others feel less important and less active in themselves. As my topic states, insult; it is treating someone with no respect or showing no respect. As we all know that there are many students and people who are out there trying to get out of being bullying to get freedom that they should have. Humiliation is the act of humiliating someone, which is making someone feel ashamed, and make them feel injured. Threats is to tell or say something that will make someone feel insecure and frightened to do anything about the bully. Ignore is to refuse someone or reject someone. Bullying is to harm and intimidate someone for anything even though they did nothing wrong to anyone. Frightening others is intimidating which literally means that they would make someone do what they tell them to do, so this is an act of bullying. Coercing someone is bullying by persuading someone to do something by using force on them so that they would actually have to do what they are told to do. Students who also bully, act as a bully so that they would not get bullied by anyone. Most of the students who bully are actually tough and strong. Bullying can actually causes different side effects that other people don’t know. Bullying is what bullies actually do because it is what it means. Bullying is to harm and intimidate others. Bullying is very uncool and it is not the right thing for the students to do. So, I feel that bullying should not be tolerated anywhere, in school, playgrounds, and any other places. Bullying is really not okay to me and mostly those who are being bullied. Bullies intend to like only those who has the same behavior as he/ she is. They actually likes it because it is what they are doing and it is what they love to do. I feel very grateful to get this opportunity to share with everyone that this should not be tolerated anywhere. You may not feel like bullying is something that is unimportant but actually it is really important. As I was bullied by many kids, mostly boys, I felt very unhappy and not really wanted to focus on anything like my mind was all empty. Those whom you will bully, don’t you think that they would be the only person you will need in the future. As Lynnette Mather quoted, “What if the kid you bullied at school, grew up, and turned out to be the only surgeon who could save your life”. In my opinion, bullying should not be tolerated anywhere.

Bullying is a result of someone's perception of the imbalance of power. So yes, insult, humiliation, treats, ad ignore is bully.
