2017 Reading Challenge so far...
24/120 1. You're The Lion by Celia Kyle ** 2. He Ain't Lion by Celia Kyle ** 3. Head Over Tail by Celia Kyle ** I like the characters and the plot. My problem isn't just with there being much more sex than story, but with the fact that well-written characters all do, say and feel the same things during sex. The sex is cookie-cutter filler from one book to the next, when I believe the author could be putting out higher caliber books. 4. Fierce In Fur by Celia Kyle *** Why am I still reading this series? Because the stories keep getting better and Im getting more adept at skipping over the sexual intermissions. 5. Ball Of Furry by Celia Kyle *** 6. Deuces Wild by Celia Kyle *** Reads like the cliff notes of an engaging story and the director's cut of erotica. If only the author would flip that script! 7. Crimes Against Magic by Steve McHugh **** 8. Seeds Of Discovery by Breeana Puttroff *** 9. Lucy's Wish by Mona Hanna ** 10. Boundary Lines by Melissa F. Olsen 3.75* I enjoyed the book and already have the next in the series in my TBR list, but I felt like the pace was slow for good portions of the book. 11. Chased By Fire by DK Holmberg ***** 12. Last Wish by Helen Harper **** 13. Burn For Me by Ilona Andrews **** 14. Christmas at Brentwood Abbey by Nadine Millard, Kristin Vayden and Kay Springsteen **** 15. Beauty and the Beast by K.M. Shea **** 16. Bitter Is The New Black by Jen Lancaster *** 17. Sold To The Lion by Caravan St. Clair ** 18. Mirror Mage by Linsey Hall **** 19. Called by Robert L. Crane **** 20. Obsidian Son by Shayne Silvers 2.5 stars If Harry Dresden met Nate Temple, they'd probably try to kill each other. And I'd be on team Harry. I'd give acknowledgement that yes, it was sad that Nate was gone, and then go on at some length about how he'd lost even though he had so much more power, because he was such a pretentious, self-important, condescending and immature brat that Harry Dresden's loyal friends would have gained up on him....and all of Nate's friends would have joined Team Harry. What I mean to say is...Nate Temple is unlikeable. But, his story is interesting and its possible he gets beat up enough in later books that he learns a lesson or two about humility. 21. Sleeping Duty by Laura Montgomery **** 22. Out Of The Dell by Laura Montgomery **** 23. Boundary Born by Melissa F. Olson **** 24. Water Witch by Thea Atkinson ** It's hard to appreciate a book when the main character is so weak of character and lacking in intelligence. Finished, but was relieved when it ended.

Alllll the books!
In 2015 I set my goal to 150 books and ended up reading 72. In 2016 I set my goal to 120 and read 129...mostly because my spine bit the dust and I had more time on my hands I set my goal to 120 again this year, but I've had a jump start on my reading since I'm still laid up and will continue to be laid up until sometime after surgery, which hadn't even been scheduled yet. ANYWAYS, under #fofg2017RC (Full of Fluffy Goodness 2017 Reading Challenge) I'll be cataloguing the books I've read this year giving my thoughts on them from time to time.
