“Oh dear, do you need help?”
❥ That’s incredibly sweet of you. 。(⌒∇⌒。)
During her last break, Ame decided to take a quick nap on the grass by one of the old elm trees on the courtyard. Her phone began to ring in order to alert her that her 10 minute nap was up and right when she attempted to reach her phone, she ended up reaching for a fluffy tail and was greatly awakened by the squirrel who bit her hand and ran off in a scurry. She turned over to see that her bag had been ransacked and the girl groaned, “Oh my goodness.” Realization also occurred when her index finger was dripping with blood. She bit her lip in pain and a deep sigh escaped her mouth, she rubbed her head and grabbed her bag. As she picked it up, all the contents had fallen out. Ame’s head turned towards the sky, “Please let this day get better,” she whispered under her breath. The girl wrapped her finger in a napkin and squatted down to pick up her notebooks.
“Oh dear, do you need help?”
A soft voice was heard next to her as she found a girl squatting next to her, helping her pick up her stuff. ‘An angel?’ Ame thought to herself. After putting everything where they belonged, she thanked the girl with a smile. “Oh gosh, thank you so much!”, Ame bowed to the girl and looked into her bag to see if she had anything to give to her as a thanks and found a lollipop. She handed it to the girl, “I’m Ame, by the way!”

“Get out of the way!”
❥ Oh way-ll…
Making her down the hall, walking fast, faces pass and she’s dorm bound or so Ame chants in her head as she makes her way through the masses of students. The girl’s hand are firmly grasped around the straps of her backpack, a look a determination is spread across her face. After her last class, the only thing on her mind is how good a nap would be after a draining day. Trying to get to her dorm as fast she can, she tries to dodge every large group of people she encounters. However, in the midst of it all, Ame notices a door about to hit a familiar face.
“Get out of the way!”, Ame calls out.
The smaller girl runs to push Viridian, a seemingly emotionless girl that Ame’s been trying to get to smile for quite some, out of the way. After trying to pull a heroic deed, she found herself just in time to only be hit by the door right in the face. Taking a bit to recollect what just happened, she becomes a bit lightheaded and gives out a nervous giggle, “Uh.. At least you’re safe?”

“Ah, I’m sorry, I could have sworn you were an angel.”
❥ Are you macaroni? Because that was cheesy.
Amelia Grace Fujimoto is quite known to have some sort of charm to her or was it that she takes after her mother and grandmother, who have been proven to possess aesthetically pleasing visages causing her to receive interesting attention. Anyhow, whilst living alongside the beach, Ame’s had her fair share of receiving compliments when she’s out for her daily walk or when running errands for her family. She’s never the one to dismiss them, she even finds them wildly entertaining.
Ame was enjoying some leisure time in the courtyard before her next class, she took in the crisp air and a smile grew on her face when a light breeze passed by as she was stretching. However, she felt someone staring at her and she retreated back into a hunch. Her gaze glanced around her vicinity, finding a boy with reddish, auburn hair smiling as he made his way towards her.
“Ah, I’m sorry, I could have sworn you were an angel.”
With a chortle at the boy’s attempt, the small girl stood up and slung her backpack onto one shoulder and turned to him with a smile, “Nice try but you’ll have to try harder.” And within seconds, she was on her way to her next class.

“You look like you could use a hand.”
❥ I Can (Hand)le It… I think.
Being a newcomer to Elias, Ame had quite the trouble finding her way through the grand campus or rather, just her usual self having no sense of direction. It actually didn’t help at all that she was carrying the books she checked out from the library back to her dorm for her classes. ‘I should’ve just brought these along in moderation… But at least, it’ll be a workout’, the student thought to herself in order to see the brighter side of things or as much as she could see over the pile of what now seem to be weights that are causing the poor girl’s arms to tremble as she makes her way down the hall or was it still the library…
“You look like you could use a hand.”
The husky voice from behind her had startled her and within a matter of seconds, the books had become familiar with the floor. Ame’s eyes widened after realizing what happened, unsure of who called out to her or if she should pick up the books first. “Yes, God? Is that you?”, she frantically replied without another thought while getting down on her knees to pick up her books. A few footsteps were heard as they were going towards her as she finished putting the textbooks back in a pile on the floor. The petite girl, who could be no taller than 5′2″, looked up to see probably the most gorgeous man she has ever laid her eyes on as he towered over her with a warm smile. “A-ah.. I guess you aren’t God after all?”, she sheepishly grinned while her cheeks began to garner a rosy glow as she tucked her hair behind her ears, a habit she does when feels embarrassed, “But I’m fine, thank you! I can handle it.”
‘Gosh.. This guy has more structure in his face than I have had this whole entire day…’

Leaning on the table with her elbows and her face held in her hands, she begins to recall the events after stepping foot into the academy. “Mmm, it went pretty well...”, Ame squinted her eyes trying to remember everything and an exasperated smile formed on her face, “aside from me getting lost and walking into the male restroom, thinking it was one of my classes.” With that recollection, she begin to chuckle at her own crazy antics. “I don’t think urinals are necessary for Advanced English.” It wasn’t unlike the girl to get lost on land, she was more go with the flow or wherever the water takes you. Literally. And seeing how large and complex the school seemed to be, it could take a while before Ame got the hang of how and where to go.
Hearing that Alexa seemed a bit worried about asking questions, Ame gave the blonde a reassuring smile, “It’s fine. You’re only trying to help! And I’m sure you could tell from my little story that I’d need serious help with navigating campus.” As the other girl was looking over her binder, Ame took out a glittery teal pen and a sheet of stationary paper with a mamegoma on it to write notes about where to go, “Direction is really all I need and to know where the best, relaxation spots are!”

Each time Ame enters the water, she’s reminded of her childhood of when her mother would bring her to visit her grandparents and aunts deep in the ocean. She would be immersed in the salt water, surrounded by its inhabitants and amazed at what was in the sea’s embrace. She became a competitive swimmer when her and her mother made it become a game of whoever can reach grandfather’s submarine the fastest. Thus, joining the swim team was no feat for Ame. Although, she didn’t do it to win medals or trophies, she only wanted to be a better swimmer and to improve herself from the previous practice or meet. Plus, she wasn’t a big fan of the chlorine, regardless of how sparkling and mesmerizing the pool was.
She leisurely glided underwater for her last warmup lap. After making her way to the edge of her line, she bobbed up and pulled herself from the water to remove her goggles and swim cap. As she was ironically drinking water after her laps, she noticed another person had joined her in the pool. Squinting her eyes, she makes it out to be a familiar face from the swim team. ‘What was his name? Vi-- Victor?’, she tilted her as she was trying to remember but halted when she noticed that he was taking a break at the other end of the pool. “Nice form!”, she called out with a thumbs up and a smile.

“Because you are indeed a new student here at Elias Academy, we wish to provide you with the utmost comfort, and so we have matched you with a student buddy to help show you the ropes and help you along the way!”, the headmaster said as she handed Ame different papers full of information in regards to her schedule, dorming and so forth. The brunette continued to her nod her head as a means to show understanding, then carefully took the papers and skimmed through them. “Ah. Thank you kindly ma’am!”, the girl sheepishly grinned as she felt overwhelmed with all the paperwork. “It’s not a problem, dear. I know it must be a hard transition from being homeschooled to where you are now. And I assure you that you’ll have a grand time here!” Feeling a bit less anxious, the student stood up and bowed, “Thank you, thank you again!”
The new student made her way to a table in the dining hall as it was the designated meeting place to meet her student buddy. She glanced at her surroundings and witnessed students chatting up with their friends or rushing to their dorms and clubs, teachers making their way back to a meeting, and the scenic view that the academy had. With a deep sigh, it could take a bit before Ame was used to this lifestyle but she was, nonetheless, up for it. Then suddenly a voice was heard in front of her, a bright smile greeted her as a girl sat in the seat in front of her. Ame slightly cringed hearing her English name but covered it with a smile, realizing it was her student buddy. “It’s nice to meet you, A-alexa!”, she replied shyly shaking the hand of the girl. “Please call me Ame. Amelia’s a bit too formal for me,” she said with an airy giggle and her eyes smiling.

(*) Amelia Grace Fujimoto was what the slip of paper read. “She’s one of our new students, Miss Rose, and we would really appreciate it if you could help get settled in. Is that alright with you?” Alexa read the basic information on the sheet in front of her and noted that her new student buddy was also in the same year as her which made things a lot easier. “It won’t be a problem,” she answered with a smile, as always. “I’ll go and meet her right away, ma’am.”
After having left the headmaster’s office, it was easy to spot her student buddy in the dining hall given that most of the students were already on their way to their respective dorms and club activities. “You must be Amelia Fujimoto.” She greeted warmly, slipping into the seat in front of the said girl. “I’m Alexa Rose and I guess you could say that I’m your welcoming committee?” Grinning, she held out her hand to the other. “Welcome to Elias Academy!”

( The shorter of the two quickly clapped her hands in an ecstatic frenzy_) I don’t doubt you, Suiren. You know I would probably give up my own life to save these gems. I mean, they do make a tie with my prized spam musubis. ( A gleeful giggle escaped her mouth as she lead her friend towards the nearest bench so they could feast upon the glory that is in their possession_)
(❈ the girl nods yet again, pulling open her messenger bag for their precious treasure) of course, i do! did you doubt me? i always follow through. (❈ a triumphant grin makes its way across her face as she lifts the paper bag)

❥swim meet & greet // ame + vince
After an exasperated huff and brush of her bangs, Ame had finished her seven page paper on who knows what that was due only minutes before the deadline. ‘And send!’, with a click of her mouse, she had turned in what she felt like was both a masterpiece and piece of – Anyhow, she leaned back in her chair for a stretch and took a glance at her watch, ‘4:14? Mmm.. Only a minute to spare.’
Closing her laptop, she then went off to get her swim necessities and a change of clothes. She was motivated by the promise of her coach that if she were to get a faster lap time, she’d be rewarded with as many spam musubis as she pleased. Ame had scurried over to the locker room and quickly changed into her black one piece with a white bow on each side. She dipped her feet into the pool with her swim cap, goggles, and timer in her hand, a smile began to grow on her face. After tying her hair up into a ponytail and soon covering it up with her swim cap, she laid her time gently next to her and got into the pool with ease. As she was treading in the water, she put on her goggles and started on her warm up laps.
‘Come to mama, my little spam musu-babies.’
