Stormy always believed that life is not about how fast you run… or with what degree of grace. That this life is a boot camp, that we must persevere through all the obstacles and hardships to earn our way into the next life. To be with her again, I will have the perseverance of a bulldog. But sometimes, it seems to me… the training is unnecessarily painful. If I live an average life-span… I’ll have another 60 years before I see Stormy again. That will be a long wait. But I am a patient man.

Thinking of this brilliant, beautiful man on his birthday. What’s your favourite Anton Yelchin movie? ❤️

“There are certain things in the movie that are very Russian that is difficult for an American audience to pick up on. Like when [Kirk and Sulu] freefall and I capture them and I say something in Russian….[says Russian phrase]…it means “Oh man! basically, which is something I ad-libbed. Which goes back to what I was saying. Chekov never speaks Russian in the series, and that was Russian slang. And that that is something I decided to add just for the hell of it, because JJ [Abrams] said ‘throw in some Russian, let’s do it for fun.’ It was just a moment that needed some kind of reaction, and they loved it out there. It is one of those things that Russian people get. I think Russian people are very happy with Chekov because he is one of the few Russian characters in American pop culture history that is not the Red Dawn kind of Russians.” — Anton Yelchin

Do you know if there are any videos from any photo shoots he might have done?
Not specifically. Vanity Fair usually does behind the scenes videos for cover shoots but I don’t know if he ever did one for them.

I honestly didn't know much about him until a few days ago. Like I heard about his death and I was like man that's awful but I didn't know who he was. Last weekend I say beyond in theatres, the first Star Trek movie I've ever seen. I was immediately captivated by Anton. Thought he was super cute and I loved his character and wanted to learn more about him. He seems like he was a wonderful being and I'm sad he's gone. I feel poorly having only found out about him posthumously. Rip
