So guys, here's the deal.
Last night, I went to an event featuring Michael Giacchino, Randy Newman, David Newman, and Trevor Rabin--I got to meet all of them, talk to all of them, and get pictures with two of them.
But since this is a blog about Michael Giacchino, I want to just say this:
HE KISSED ME!!!
I will post a detailed account later, but it was completely one of the most magical moments of my life.
Here is the audio from the event (it's a radio interview with the four of them):

So give it a listen if you're interested, and I'll keep you posted on my story!

SUPER 8 SUITE
I think Michael Giacchino should have won a second oscar for this score.

So guess who might be doing a Lost concert in the LA area?
to give you a hint, it's the person on whom this blog is centered.
:)
How amazing would that be???

Giacchino has probably composed one of the best OSTs of the year with John Carter, no matter what people think of the movie, the music is truly, STUNNING.
I haven’t been excited about a soundtrack like this in a long time, it has great classical moments, an epic science fiction vibe, some battle themes, a chorus, just… fuckin amazing.
