Man, you’ve forgot One of the most importiert effects he uses. The digitech bass whammy, it’s Input comes form the tremolo and the output goes into the sansamp. Greetings from germany

Do you have a list (or even a rough idea) of which pedals he uses for which songs?

I’ll get one up here soon. There are tons of interviews (specifically in bass mags) where he talks about it. There are also some YT vids where he goes over it, but they’re fairly old...

Why doesn't Tool jam like Phish or other jam bands? It would blow any current jam band out of the water and being so mainstream it would introduce a whole new genre to the masses. Why not give it a try? Think about it.. A show weaving in and out, teasing, and going back into songs throughout a show would blow people's mind's!

I totally agree that it would blow minds, but they’re honestly not that kind of a band. They did a HUGE interview quite a few years back that was compiled into The Book of Tool. In it, they talk specifically about how they *don’t* like doing shows like that because then the music is all over the internet. They like the albums being fairly secret so that it can be a full package experience when it comes out.

what is justin´s job outside tool?

I know that, a few years ago, he had a shop (part surf shop, part occult shop) open on the CA coast with his wife. Idk if that's still a thing. He generally takes time off and relaxes, though, as making albums tends to tax him mentally.
