ramble about zarcray please!

i know i was sent this twice but idgaf cuz i am always down to talk about zarcray because this is a god tier versatile ship and i once again have to laugh at the fact that most of what’s appealing about this ship isn’t what’s onscreen but from what we can all infer from it and i just... love that.

But that’s also what makes it so much fun too?!?!

And the level of THIRST that has accompanied all of us here cuz both parties are pretty and the EtL aspect is so high and actually of huge importance to the plot.

and most importantly (and yes, this is important to me), the shippers are fans of both characters. like, i cannot count how many times i have seen a ship where you can just TELL the shippers only like one character in the ship and the other one is there cuz... man, idk, maybe that’s the aesthetic they liked the most. whereas here, both get the focus and attention and love too which i really admire. idk, it feels like the signs of a mature fandom and a good ship when that happens (especially since this is a ygo ship and a m/f one on top of that, thank god ray is given respect here lol) idk if that makes sense but i am grateful for that shit.
