Haven’t opened tumblr in years, but recently I’ve reverted back to the old me. Watching harry potter (POA) all the time, digging deep into the lore of whatever fictional world I am entranced by, staying up late reading fanfics, 1D/5Sos music/videos all the time. These things make me happy, they give me comfort. I can navigate my emotions through them because I know what to expect.

I miss Liam. I miss JJ. I’m unmotivated to finish the rest of the semester.

Starting college is so weird. Like everyone just expects you to be okay with your whole life being turned upside down? Whole new place to live, no parents, a whole bunch of people you don’t know, all while figuring out what you want your future to be? I mean it’s great and so much fun, but it’s so unnerving to think about.

Over quarantine I have basically reverted back to my fangirl self. I have re-entered my Harry Potter, Maze Runner, Mortal Instruments, and One Direction phase. I have also added The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, The Red Queen, and The Lunar Chronicles. Basically hot celebrities and fictional guys are taking over my life and I’m okay with it :) wish I could be in a fictional world instead of at school.

So the face that James Dashner is writing TDC from Newts perspective is going to HURT. Okay I felt enough pain watching him turn through Thomas’ eyes but to read HIS THOUGHTS, to see him WRIGHT THE LETTER TO THOMAS?? And I swear if James Dashner freaking puts HIS DEATH in that book I will die.

I feel so empty and worried when I finish a book. These books were my life for a couple weeks and now the story is over. What if the next book isn’t as good? Should I do a different genre? Should I not read for a couple days? IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!

You know when you want to finish your book but you need to go to sleep but you can’t go to sleep until you find a good stopping point but everything keeps going wrong....
