I lean Left and I had gotten to know this girl, around election time I had learned that she leaned Right and some of the debates that sparked out of it made me question our friendship and I thought about cutting her off for nothing more than her politics.

I thought about it until I realized that I valued our similarities more than our differences. She’s one of my best friends now.
