It feels like shit to see the activity page fill up with notes but then checking in on the fundraisers and seeing that barely any donations are coming in. Siraj ( @siraj2024 ) wants to go home- that's all he has saying for days now. His whole life has been lost to this genocide: his home, his office, his neighborhood and so much more. He lost so many of his friends. His children lost more than a year of education and on top of that they will remember these fifteen months. That's not fair to anyone, least of all to children. The family suffered through hunger, through heat and cold and diseases. There truly is nothing more to be said about the grief that hangs so heavily whenever we talk. Nor do I want to say anything anymore, cause at this point it just feels voyeuristic. I just want to request on behalf of my friend. Please do what you will; Siraj needs €504 euroes ( i.e. he needs to reach €2500 ) to return home to North Gaza.

Hey guys. I'm very emotional receiving this ask because this is one of the first few fundraisers I verified, back when very few Ghazzawis were on tumblr, but my efforts to help get people the fundraising they need has brought so many Ghazzawis to tumblr through word of mouth. It's hard for me to believe this. We've sort of come full circle. It's also devastating to see that after all this time the campaign hasn't been completed and the members of this family still feel need to campaign for their livelihoods. As you can see Eman here is using tumblr to help fundraise for her family, and she has many other public social media accounts listed on her pinned post.

Please. Please help this campaign that has waited so long for the support it needs. If they had raised the funds they needed earlier, they could've evacuated before the border had closed. Who knows what painful future we could be avoiding by helping them now.
