Hallow’s End had always been one of Uriel’thos’s favorite holidays. As a creature of nightmares every other day of the year, it was the only day he could feel normal without much judgement. The next day, of course, everything would return to how it was but just for a night he could pretend and that was good enough for him. His excitement for the impending holiday always managed to drag his friends into it as well, should they be willing.

Thus he approached Eryis, happening to spot her in Dazar’alor. Reigning Terrogloom around, much to the bony gryphon’s irritated squak at the abrupt change in direction, he caught up with the ex-Netherlord with a mischievous grin. “Hey!” he called out. “Hallow’s End is coming up! Do you have any plans?”

The knife Uriel wielded was brought down harshly into the pumpkin with a wicked grin from the death knight. He was no artist, not by a long shot, yet he was still content with his creation. With the last section of pumpkin carved out, the elf flicked away the remains of seeds and other orange innards. With a pleased smile at his work, Uriel looked over to Itillan.

Turning the pumpkin over so the priest could see his masterpiece he laughed giddily. “I made Jasculs.” He pronounced proudly.

He had never been known for his creativity or his artistic abilities so the attempt at carving their demon hunter friend into the pumpkin was, by professional standards, not exactly the best. With crooked lines, uneven proportions, and symmetry long forgotten, Uriel’s pumpkin looked more like a mess of jagged cuts and squiggles than anything else.
