Flareon pajamas for the Build a Bear eevee plush. Made of flannel, like the other two, it has snaps along the bottom. Due to time constraint, it does not have the pads on the bottoms of the feet.
Like this one? I made two others!

Two more weighted lap blankets made to order in pink. Another adult and child set of weighted lap pads.
Made the same way as the first two located here: http://frostdesigns.tumblr.com/post/167284955156
The adult one was made with a soft, dot textured pink blanket material and some beautiful mermaid fabric in gold and pink. Standard 10 lb weight pack. It now resides with a wildly successful amazon employee who needed something to help them focus while working.
The child sized lap blanket, like the first, is a 5lb weight pad encased in waterproof pink fabric. The outer cover is a Mario and company pattern on one side, and pink flannel on the other.
The color and texture aspects of these pads are just as important as the weight component. Color helps to sooth, familiar patterns and characters help put a child at ease. Textures can either rile someone up, or add to the calming effect. There are a lot of options that can be tweaked to make the use of the weighted lap blanket more successful.

So this is a project I’ve been fiddling with over the past few months. I have a lot of friends with various levels anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and autism. These conditions make it hard to focus on things sometimes, so I decided to make a tool that could help. Weighted lap blankets/pads are super helpful in calming the nervous system down for some people limiting annoying reactions that keep people from preforming tasks.
I originally made myself one and found it to be a huge help while working. To date I've made four, three adult and one child's.
Pictured here are and adult sized weighted lap blanket, and a child's size weighted lap blanket with a removable cover.
The adult size with rainbow and mermaid fabric has 10 lbs of rocks, sewn into 25 packets created by columns sewn down muslin fabric, then sewn off to seal, and surrounded by a couple layers of quit batting on both sides for softness. The whole thing is then encased and anchored between the two top layer fabrics. Spot cleaned when dirty.
The child size pad is 5 pounds, made the same way with equal sized packets of rocks encased in muslin fabric. It is also then surrounded by batting. Instead of sewing directly to the outer fabrics, a water proof fabric is used on the outside, because kids. The outer fabric is much like a pillow case with a zipper and can be easily removed for cleaning.
Both are being used to great results.

My posting here will always be slow, but it’s been slower recently due to working on some bigger projects at the moment. Here’s what I’ve been working on between the large items though! Four pairs of flannel pajamas bottoms, and two door draft blockers (only one shown).
The pajamas are pretty easy to hammer our quickly, and cheap with the fall flannel sales.
The draft blocker is stuffed with polyfill, and has five, one pound pouches of cheap craft rocks sewn along the length of the body to weigh it down.

I have some helpers. They of course find the lightest costume and lay on it while I’m trying to take pictures. Wanna see more of them? Head over to Therapy Cats for pictures and gifs of Gearbox and Charcoal.

Custom white mage, asymmetrical, , sleeveless, corset back, red taffeta accented, champagne satin wedding dress, with lace jacket and champagne colored petticoat.
This is actually my wedding dress. I was unhappy with the selection available, both in color and size, of the wedding dresses available to me, so I decided to make my own. I pieced together several patterns I found online and edited into something I felt beautiful in. This was definitely the most costly undertaking I've done in the past few years, but I would totally do it again in a heartbeat. It was a lot of fun to watch it come together as we got closer to the date, as well as satisfying.

A black/gold kimono like robe, 2 of 5. Brocade with a cotton lining. Like the silver/white, completed as part of a gift set over a decade ago. A very early large project. Robes 3-5 were lost to the sands of time, and the people they were made for. They came in colors green, red and powder blue.
