Casual ways to connect with your deities
-Pray to them or just just talk with them and tell them about your day
-Light a candle and say your thanks
-Offer your meal/snack to them or bake/cook with them or for them
-Watch a movie in their honor
-Offer your morning drink to them or make a cup for them
-Assign them a plant and take care of it as a devotion to them
-Listen to music that reminds you of them
-Say good morning/good night
-Thank them for the things you see that you consider beautiful

Set holding the Eye of Horus (which he snatched out)
The Egyptian gods and goddesses had kind of a thing for mutilating one another. This original ink drawing is embellished in real gold leaf and is currently for sale for 30$

HEARTFELT POST CANCELED, THEY LIVE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the campus of my college, there are multiple colonies of stray cats. One cat, however, was always particularly friendly. No one knew their gender and they went by multiple names. Ralph, Johnson Cat, Gray Cat, Gatito, and so on and so forth. People would build (yes! Build!) cat houses and bought cat food and treats to feed them (hell, I carried around cat treats for them, and I don't own a cat) . They would always come up to me meowing as I walked past, and I always made it a point to stop and pet them as I went to class, rehearsal, eat dinner, whatever. Between the spring and fall 2023 semesters, the administration had forcibly moved the little cat from their area and destroyed the house that had been built for them and threw out the food and bowls that had been laid out for them. When we all came back to campus, we quickly found out that they had taken up residence by another set of dorm halls, to which another encampment was quickly set up by the student body.
I'm currently sitting out a semester, so I am not on campus. Unfortunately, I found out this little guy has passed away, hit by a car. The little soul that has offered joy and warmth to so many stressed out college students no longer walks this earth and now begins their journey to the loving arms of Lady Bastet. May she welcome them with the love that all of us college students provided them.
Fly high gray cat, may you feel the same love and joy that you provided to so many students. I'll always miss those days where I would eat chic fil a at your table, and you would try to knock over my bag while I gave you pieces of nuggets. 🖤🖤🖤
