Chaotic Peace - Part 2 🐙
Doctor Octopus x Reader
Hello! I know I took a bit long and that's because I've been a little busy these days, but I tried to write whenever I had the chance to and here it is. I hope you guys have fun ♥️ there will be some important notes at the end of this chapter
Also, two people asked me to tag them in the update, so... A special "I hope you enjoy it!" to @mystiicrose and @mercurysrhapsody ^^
Warnings: Fluff, angst, alcohol consumption and a very vulnerable Otto
🐙-----------------------------------------------🐙
You stayed by Otto's side for hours. Maybe a whole day had passed, but you were worried that he wasn't going to wake up. Yes, he was a dangerous man, but you weren't afraid. You could see his humanity, and you wouldn't let him die. You couldn't. You took a deep breath and took his hand, holding it tenderly.
"Where am I..?"
You yelped in surprised and looked at him. Otto looked groggy and tried to sit up, groaning low.
"Hey, I'm-"
He looked into your eyes once again, like it happened the day before, deeply, but this time longer. He paused before speaking up.
"You... You saved me"
He tried to get a hold of himself and got up, unfortunately nearly tripping. Luckily his tentacles were quick to hold him up and prevent him from falling.
"I don't think you're fully recovered yet, doctor" You said firmly (but not harshly).
"I'm fine, I'm fine... Where are my clothes?"
"They're outside. I think they're dry by now. I'll get them for you"
You went outside for a moment to bring back his clothing, which had, in fact, dried (maybe with a few moist areas, but they were dry enough). He dressed himself quickly, still leaving his chest exposed since he only had his overcoat and pants. (You didn't admit to yourself on that moment, but that was a really good view). However it was kinda funny when the tentacles tried to pass through the holes on his clothing.
"Come on, you can trust me" You said, trying to reassure him.
He thought for a moment, then he sighed low and nodded, acknowledging that he may have a bit trouble. He was a stubborn case, but he seemed to rely on you at least for now. The tentacles put him down and you helped him walk outside the cabin and his steps aimed towards the edge of the boat. Otto gazed at the horizon with sorrowful eyes.
"My dream is dead again..." His voice cracked. You felt bad for him. You wanted to say something, and slightly opened your mouth to do so, but you hesitated and nothing came out of you. Otto seemed to notice. "I'm sorry, who are you?"
"I'm y/n, and... I know who you are, you're doctor octo-"
"Please, you can call me Otto" He interrupts you and continues. " 'Doctor Octupus' is just the name those tabloids chose to more notably expose me as a villian..." He sighed and looked away. "I know that my acts weren't the most morally correct, but I had to, for the good of mankind..."
"I've read about your work on fusion"
His eyes darted at you once again. "Have you?"
"Yes, and, you know... Sometimes one's mistakes all sum up as stubbornness" (It was really bold of you to say that, he could do anything to you in that situation and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it)
"What?" A part of him was shocked you would say such statement after all he's been through. Yes, it was true, but he was capable of many things and he wouldn't think a girl he just met would dare to say it out loud. His tentacles seemed to follow you, as if they followed Otto's gaze.
You hesitated for a moment.
"But... I don't think you're necessarily bad for trying more than once. Many people have great ideas every day and they don't even put them in practice, let alone steal for scientific advances. You had a great idea, Otto" You laid a hand on his shoulder, his sorrowful expression changed as a small smile formed on his lips. He was still sad, but you seemed to have comforted him at least a bit with your words.
"Thank you, I just wish it had worked..."
"I know. I'm really sorry..." You approached Otto and embraced his body. He looked surprised but hugged you back nearly immediately, and stronger(It felt nice to have his body close to yours). He needed that hug. It wouldn't fix things, but it definitely made him feel a bit better. A few tears left his eyes.
Later, you decided that you would prepare soup for the both of you.
"You really don't have to. I already owe you my life"
"Oh" You let out a soft chuckle. "Don't think too much about it. You know what? Why don't you help me? We could use the power of your four extra arms" He looked at you amused, but agreed.
Otto didn't know why, maybe it was because you had recently saved his life, but your presence actually comforted him. You weren't scared of him, and you didn't seem to be afraid to speak your mind.
Making the soup together was a fun experience for both of you, and it happened way faster than the usual considering that 8 arms were at work. His mechanical assistants were a really good help chopping, mixing, holding, whatever you needed. Otto even made sure they served the soup for you two. They entertained you in a way. Later you made sure the boat was close to a nearby dock again.
In the evening, you two sat together and had some drinks while talking and laughing. You two found out you actually had a lot in common, even your favorite drink was the same: wine. It made you both a bit drunk, yet relaxed.
"You know, I couldn't thank you enough, y/n" "Nah, you don't have to, Otto. I'm more than glad" You smiled genuinely.
You both weren't completely drunk, at least not to the point of being completely mindless about what was going on. But suddenly Otto giggled drunkenly and approached you. He placed a hand on your cheek and tenderly brushed his fingers. Even drunk, you couldn't help yourself but blush. You both went silent enough to hear each other breathing. He got even closer and placed a kiss on your forehead as a form of thanking you.
"I can't ever repay you, dear"
"Pff, oh, Otto" You hugged him. This time, his mechanical arms also embraced your body.
You two felt warm and safe.
"You should rest now, you went through a lot"
"But you don't have another bed"
"It's okay, I have a sleeping bag. You can keep the bed tonight"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes"
"I trust your judgement"
You both went to the cabin and you took your sleeping bag, getting comfortable inside. At this point Otto was already on your bed, nearly asleep.
"Good night, y/n"
"Good night, Otto"
When you woke up in the next morning, you were in your own bed, which made you confused.
"Otto?"
You looked for him ground the boat. He wasn't there anymore. Why?

Important notes!!
Requests for short fanfictions are open! It can be with Otto or other characters (I'll see what I can do!)
I will probably write mostly about Otto, but I also specially want to do Dr. Connors, so if any of you want some type of story involving the Lizard, I'll be more than happy to write it too!
You can also ask questions.
Idk when exactly I'll be putting "Chaotic Peace" in AO3 since I never posted anything there, but I'll try.
Editing this because I forgot the tags lmfao

Chaotic peace 🐙
Dock ock x reader - chapter one
Hello!! I'll be going by Froggy on this app, and I wrote this fanfic about doctor Ock because I am also thirsty for him and love his tiddies. I hope you enjoy it! You can share and comment as much as you want. I'll be making a few more comments in the end of this post.
Warnings: slight angst, near death experience
Future +18, as well as future fluff
Plot: You're somebody that enjoys a peaceful time alone in your boat. However, a sudden strange movement in the water gets your attention. What will come from that? This story takes place after Otto goes down the river with his failed experiment.
🐙------------------------------------------------🐙
It's common to find yourself being convinced by your own convictions that you should commit the same mistake again. After all, it could work this time, right? (Right?)
However, there are times our good will and desire to make a better world makes us go too far.
Otto was sure nothing was miscalculated, but he was wrong. Due to his mistakes, in an attempt to help mankind, he ended up drowning his life experiment together with his own body. After some time in the water, the scientist was already unconscious, but he wasn't dead yet, and his tentacles for sure weren't either. They protected his body and tried hard to bring him to surface while he was still alive.
You were always fond of the view you had at night of the stars. They may not mean much for a lot of people, but all of those beautiful shiny spots meant something for you. They gave you some type of hopeful feeling that you weren't alone. Sometimes, even with people around you, you felt that way. And between all those buildings, you couldn't have the best range of vision, and that was a part of the reason you bought your boat. But if we're going to be honest, you wanted to find some sort of peace. You wanted to be away from all the fuss the city had, but you didn't want to move away considering you grew up there. (Not that it would make a lot of difference, you often heard about villains and monsters in other towns), so you spent a lot of your time in your floating hideaway.
It wasn't a small boat as one may think; it was big enough to have a cabin, a bathroom and a small room to prepare food. That way you could spend days there if you wanted, in absolute peace, or at least you thought so.
That night you heard loud noises and decided to navigate close to check what was going on. That's when you saw some strange movement in the water, which lead to you curiously trying to look closer.
"What the..."
You soon realized that what you were seeing was nothing common to find in that river, it was an unconcious man. You wondered if he was dead already and thought of ways of getting him out. Though, you didn't need much effort after your realization, because Otto's tentacles came from underwater and attached themselves onto the boat, abruptly throwing his unconcious body inside. You gasped shocked. It didn't take long for you to realize who that was, but your moral and instinct of protection shouted louder than the bewilderment inside your body. He was clearly unconcious, but the tentacles still had life, so you thought you could save him. You laid your finger under his nose and realized he wasn't breathing. Luckily as you checked, he still had pulse. You started performing mouth to mouth resuscitation; which you hoped would bring him back (His lips felt soft against yours). You were lucky to have this knowledge. Seeing that you grew up in a family of doctors, they taught you a few basics and you were thankful you could now use something you sometimes thought you would never have the opportunity to use.
You never became a doctor (like they expected), but you knew they would be proud of your actions, even more considering they worked. He started breathing again, coughing and then spitting a lot of water out. You held his head in a way that wouldn't be harmful and you sighed in relief as he slowly opened his eyes. For a moment, you two locked eye contact. His dark (beautiful) eyes showed some kind of gratitude; it felt deep. After all, you had just saved his life. But it only lasted a few seconds. He was tired, and before you could even ask if he was alright, Doctor Octopus ended up falling unconcious again. You never thought that was much of an intimidating name, but what you saw in all of those newspapers showed the opposite.
You left your shyness aside and took off what you could from his clothing.
"This is soaking..." You said as you put his overcoat away for now.
Otto was left only in his underwear, but at first you didn't take your time to admire his exposed body. You couldn't due to the situation. You had to dry him as quick as possible. This time you weren't as worried as before and got a towel to dry him (You moved the towel down his wet body, sliding it between all his curves. He felt soft).
Otto was now what one may call a "villain", but he was still human, so you dragged him to your bed inside your cabin. "I could use some help from those tentacles now..."
You sighed a little annoyed by the lack of assistance, but still placed him on the bed and covered him with the warmest blankets you had. You didn't want to risk him getting sick, but you also couldn't take him to the hospital. They could think you're helping a criminal, however... You couldn't lie to yourself that knowing who that man was, you knew that in the end he wanted the best for the world, so you felt sympathy towards him. You had read a few articles about him in the past and you felt sorry for the situation he found himself now.
It was truly ironic: you wanted to find peace away from the city, and one of the reasons for the fuss was now just inside your little hideaway. Even though it seemed like he was alright now, you didn't leave his side until he woke up again.
🐙------------------------------------------------🐙
Aaand hello again :D what did you guys think? I usually write poems, so fanfiction is kinda different to me. I've written about characters before but nothing like this. I would love to hear constructive criticism if you guys notice anything. And sorry about grammar sometimes, I'm not a native English speaker, I'm actually from Brazil, but I tried my best ♥️
Idk how many chapters there will be, but I'm planning on feeding y'all with Otto content really well.
Also, something I want to make clear: I tried to research as much as possible about resuscitating somebody in that situation and Idk if what I wrote is accurate, but I hope you guys enjoy it!
