His...file? What in the world was this girl talking about? Takashi was taken completely by surprise by the suddenness of this girl's entry, and the words that were subsequently spoken. The only thing he could do was clamber to his feet to stand before the girl, eyes speaking volumes of his confusion.
"Ah, that's me, yes. How may I address you?"
Perhaps she was talking about his student file? Someone from the student council maybe? Head tilted slightly as he considered the possibilities, not quite sure what to make of her statement.

"...File? Unimpressive?"

The Burden of Sight | Yomi and Natsume
Wandering toward a quiet corner of the school compounds, face cast in the shadow of thought as the boy took a seat on the grass, leaning against a nearby tree. And indeed, there had been much to ponder upon. With that recent fiasco of having been thrown into Luke's body, Takashi found himself with much to consider.
Besides the pressure of having to control that...hyperresonance that Luke had, he'd also had to deal with being unable to see youkai for those few days. There was a memory of something similar. He still remembered the loneliness which he never admitted to Nyanko-sensei. The strange feeling when the youkai had watched over him in his sleep when the whole ordeal had ended.
There hadn't been the same desperation to catch a youkai this time, but the incident had caused him to remember the sadness. There was once a time when he had cursed this ability of his, a time when he had wished that he didn't have to see youkai. But that time had long passed. He had come to love both youkai and humans, and to lose any of them was...his heart twinged at the mere thought.
But it was a serious consideration. What would he do if he one day lost the ability to see the youkai? There had been the man who had slowly lost his sight too...lost the ability to see Hotaru.
Eyes wavered at the thought, and he raised his head to the sky, trying to hold the tears back down.
Nyanko-sensei had left again, for some reason. He was lonely. Oh so lonely. Luke was a great friend, but...it was lonely being the only one who could see. The only one who entertained these fears. He lowered his head again, wiping a tear that had managed to escape away.

He nodded silently, no words needed this time as he sat next to the girl with a gentle smile on his lips. He still felt like he was being awkward, but it was obvious that the girl was trying hard in her own way. He too, had to do the same. But what to talk about? He didn't really know...
Ah, he didn't know her name. Introductions were in order then.

"I-I'm Natsume Takashi. It's nice to meet you, err..."

Chaotic morning | Luke and Takashi
Silence.
Eyes opened slowly to be greeted with darkness. There was something strange about today. Something felt different...what?
Sleepily, Takashi stumbled out of bed and towards the bathroom. A sudden pain at his toes as he tripped and nearly fell over something. Had that always been there? Perhaps one of his roommates had forgotten to keep their belongings. Well, it didn't matter.
Wait a minute. Had the bathroom always been that direction from his bed? He was probably just tired. His head felt funny...why did he feel so sleepy?
A shake of his head as he shuffled towards the bathroom, opening the door silently so as not to wake his roommates who were still asleep. Hand reached for his toothbrush, and grasped...air?
Takashi rubbed his eyes and looked around in confusion. Wait. His hands looked...different? Tired eyes looked into the mirror and were greeted with green...and red?!
"AH-!"
Takashi had to bite back a yell when he saw his reflection in the mirror. Red hair...and green eyes? Had he been possessed again? But no...there was something familiar about how he looked...
He looked exactly like Luke. Come to think of it, his clothes weren't the ones he had went to bed in either. What was going on?!
He peeked back out into the room. Now that he was wide awake, his roommates looked...well. They weren't his roommates, that was for sure. The room looked different as well, at least in its arrangement.
Calm down. Panicking wouldn't do any good. He would have to go back to his room and see what was...but he wasn't in the habit of stepping out without freshening up. No, it'll be okay. Youkai's prank or something...
Takashi managed, somehow. And when it came to dressing...well the uniform had to do. The thought of having to wear any of the other teen's casual clothes brought a flush to his face.
And then he was out the room, towards the...which direction was his room in again? Looking at the number sequences - There.

Sousuke, that's not how you give a birthday present.
If he's even aware that it's her birthday. An accidental gift that conveniently makes it in time for her birthday?!

BONDAGE.
Takashi can't say he particularly likes being tied up. In fact, he quite dislikes it. He doesn't understand how people can gain sexual pleasure from binding someone or being bound. There are strange ones among humans too, he supposes.

KINKY.
[Rika-mun, why. ;A;]
Takashi has never quite understood it. For most of his life, he was far too lonely to even consider physical pleasure. Too busy running from youkai to have the time and energy to feel such things. And now, he's happy with the kindness that he has in his life. Takashi is satisfied with what he has.

Flowers? (for the headcanon prompt uwu)
[I like this one. :)]
Takashi likes flowers. They give him a peaceful feeling, and also remind him of some of the encounters he's had with youkai. He likes how flowers always seem so gentle, and yet have the strength to bloom so beautifully. To him, they signify something he wishes to become. A kind person, who can give some relief to the burdens in people's hearts, even if he is only a fragile human.
There is a special pressed flower he keeps at the very back of the Yuujinchou. That flower is a memory of a specific youkai, Kai. To Takashi, it also signifies the importance that youkai have in his life. He lives for both humans and youkai.

Takashi paused in mid-step, looking up at the girl in front of him in surprise before his lips curved into a smile again. It would seem that his inability to say the right words wasn't held against him. Another act of kindness in his life. They just kept piling up, and it seemed he had no way to repay them. All he could do was try.
"Are you sure? You really don't have to force yourself if you don't want to..."
Ah, why did he choose those words? What he had meant to say was that he didn't want to push the girl too much, that he was okay with it if she didn't want his company for the day, but it had come out sounding like he was the one wanting to leave. Why couldn't he just be honest and say that he was happy she didn't mind, that he would be happy to stay and talk to her?
"I- I meant...thank you...I'll stay, if you don't mind."

Right. So I’m just throwing it out there that replies will come a bit slowly for the next two weeks roughly. I’ll still be doing replies, maybe a few every two days or when I need a break, but I have two academic essays due by the following Monday and Friday respectively, so I’ll have to focus on those for a bit. Who knows, without procrastination, I might actually finish within the week. (Who am I kidding, I procrastinate all the time, just even more with tumblr.)
Not really Hiatus, since I’m still planning to do replies as and when I can?
Sorry bout this to those roleplaying with me. And thanks for understanding. I love ya’ll! ^_^

Takashi chuckled in response. "For some classes, yes. But I've had to finish assignments for at least my psychology, occult studies and...self=defense classes so far..." Not that those assignments had been particularly difficult.
Abruptly, Takashi found himself wondering if the other teen would tease him for taking self-defense classes. After all, he seemed convinced that Takashi was a klutz through and through. Having noticed the other's forced laugh, Takashi tried to suppress his latest growing fear by giving the other a quick but gentle pat on the shoulder.
And found himself regretting that action immediately, when he felt the earlier feelings that had been prickling at his nerves return.

Accidents and Unexpected Developments | Luke and Takashi
Spotting the others dismay, he began to change in to a more happier topic. Something that avoided any certain lurking memories to resurface. So, with a clearing of his throat, he gave the other a reassuring smile before speaking.

“You know, classes seem to be really lax lately, it’s like the teachers have no idea how to administer homework, right?” He said in a joking manner, however if a certain professor were to overhear him, he would most definitely stock the red-head up on assignments until the semester ended. He would most likely die beforehand though, seeing as the professor is cynical that way. This led to a cold shiver consuming the other. “… Ahahaha..”

Caught off-guard, Takashi found himself gasping for air almost as soon as he surfaced. What had the other boy been trying to say under the water? Takashi didn't really know, nor was it at the front of his thoughts at that moment. In fact, he wasn't really thinking. What was this feeling prickling at his nerves? That grin...
Chuckling nervously and attempting to ignore that feeling tugging at his frayed nerves, his lips parted in an attempt to speak, and...
Oh.
Nothing. Takashi realised he had no idea what to say. Standing in the pool, biting his lower lip nervously, he wished he knew how to keep conversations going, or even start them.
Accidents and Unexpected Developments | Luke and Takashi
Luke dove under the water. He was planning to pull the other under as well, however, his mind continued to wander once again. This time, thoughts of certain events that seemed the shape his very being came in to play. It was almost restricting, and suffocating all at the same time, so he pushed his body back to the surface with a small bit of force.

Punching at the water, almost like a child, he was letting his frustration slip out in to the waves of the rebounding water. He was embarrassed somewhat, due to his character being thrown completely off the chart. However, turning to the boy, he got an almost sinister grin on his face. Quickly, he clung to the others legs, the both of them beginning to sink to the bottom, a large grin still painted on to the boys lips. He spoke under the water, however it was probably inaudible, and the other probably wouldn’t be able to see it, but he said “Be careful, okay? I don’t want to lose another friend.” In that moment. Before letting the other go, and allowing them both to float back up to the surface. Luke’s worries fleeing his mind quickly after.

Well, he was well and thoroughly soaked now. Not that he hadn't been before. With a weak laugh, Takashi pushed his long bangs away from his eyes, turning to Luke with a small smile.
"...Do you think that worked?" A chuckle. Of course it wouldn't. To begin with, Takashi wasn't what you would call clumsy even if it were possible to splash the clumsy nature out of someone.
A hand went to his back to feel for the pouch which held the yuujinchou. Reassured, Takashi attempted to wade closer to the other teen, finding it slightly difficult with his thoroughly soaked hoodie. But the thought of taking it off...Takashi felt his cheeks warming almost immediately.
Accidents and Unexpected Developments | Luke and Takashi
He wanted to push the memories away once more, so with an almost sudden jolt of energy, the teen threw himself back in to the pool, letting himself drift under the water for a short while before allowing his body to return to the surface. It was almost like he’d been washing the memories away.

Spotting Takashi taking the same sitting stance the boy had been in earlier, he pulled on the others leg lightly from the water, an almost bored glare following the action. “Hurry up and get in the water. I am gonna splash that clumsy nature of yours right out of your soul.” With that, the youth used his strength to pull the other back in to the pool against his own will. Luke would have fun here, if it meant that the memories would go away once again.
