Captain Robert Sidney Stanley Warraker SCR,serving in the Selous Scouts, Rhodesian Army, who was Reported Missing in Action on 12 January 1977 together with the crew of a 5 Squadron Rhodesian Air Force B2 Canberra Bomber, Serial Number R2514 during Operation Manyatela. He was flying as a passenger together with Rhodesian Air Force 4319 Flight Lieutenant (Pilot and Aircraft Commander) Ian Hylton Donaldson and 4339 Air Sub-Lieutenant (Navigator) David Hawkes when their aircraft was shot down by anti-aircraft fire over Malvernia while en-route to carry out a formation night bombing attack on a ZANLA Base at Madulo Pan in Mo莽ambique. All three members have no known grave and remain unaccounted for. Captain Warracker was awarded the Silver Cross of Rhodesia (SCR) for Conspicuous Gallantry on 29 October 1976.
