My partner and I have been making beans by boiling pinto beans in 2 cartons low sodium chicken broth and water added to keep it from dehydrating for 8 hours, putting in a whole chopped onion and a whole clove of garlic, as well as sometimes adding in frozen veggies towards the last hour of boiling. We also add bay leaves and thyme to flavoring. You should try it, it's really good and a great dinner that lasts for 3 days until it's been eaten up. Adding spam or your choice of meat (ham does best) at the same time as the veggies is a great idea. Have fun

why/how does susie end up killing her mom ?

grrr it’s a long story with a lot of half finished lore and writing JDBSJDB…BUT!

the main reason she kills her mother, Gwen, is because Gwen is the leader of the city-state she lives in and deems Gwen unfit to rule \_(ツ)_/¯ the strange thing is it’s not done out of hatred and susie’s absolutely heartbroken about her mothers death but to her it’s simply what had to be done, the end justifies the means type thing yknow

she kills Gwen by ambushing her during a blackout that she caused and makes it look like not one but TWO other people did it lol
