I can’t believe how far we’ve come! This story is my baby, and I’m so immensely grateful for all the love and support it has received! As relieved as I am to finish it, it is hard to let go, so it’s entirely possible that I may write some bonus chapters in the future. Although, I tried to fit so much into this epilogue, I’m not sure what’s left to say! So anyway, for the last time, please, PLEASE enjoy! 💕

You learned that maybe an hour after he snuck out of your room, when one of the producers stopped you as you were lugging your suitcase down the hall

You recognized him as the same producer who’d requested you spend less time with Yoongi, and you worried you were in trouble

But to your astonishment, he apologized for suggesting anything, saying it was never his intention to make things difficult for you and he meant no disrespect

He then informed you that he personally made all the arrangements for you to fly to Korea with the boys instead of returning home

A Private Conversation

You checked the time on your phone repeatedly, waking the screen each time it went dark

The minutes dragged by like hours, and your mind busied itself imagining all the different possible outcomes of this “talk” Yoongi wanted to have

You were hopeful that he planned to explain his stand-offish behavior all day

And that he would reassure you of his affection 

And you really hoped he wanted to kiss you again

(He did tell you to turn the camera off…)

But you also worried that he was going to let you down easy

That he’d say he liked you, but he didn’t want to get attached, and he’d made a mistake letting things go this far

Or worse yet, you feared he’d say kissing you made him realize that he didn’t actually like you like that

No, you told yourself, rubbing your eyes

The boys promised you he was seriously interested, and they knew their hyung better than anyone

Maybe he was just playing it cool, not wanting to seem too eager

Or maybe he was afraid of being vulnerable or getting hurt

Part Six

Good Morning NZ

You awoke gradually in the morning to the sounds of the production crew and maybe some of the boys getting up and around

After the quick and relieving realization that yesterday had not been just a good dream, you hopped out of bed and began getting dressed

You knew a hike up the mountain was the first activity on the day’s schedule, so you chose your outfit accordingly

Just as you finished lacing up your hiking boots, you heard a knock on your bedroom window

Curious, you pulled open the curtains to find Jimin waving in at you

You waved back cheerily, then made your way out to the main part of the cabin

In the lounge, you found Jin and Namjoon starting on the breakfast buffet while Jungkook told them how he’d already hiked up the trail

You poured yourself a bowl of cereal and took a seat at the table, exchanging “good morning”s with the boys

Not much later, Jimin came inside, his boots caked with mud, just as Yoongi made his appearance, looking as adorable as always
