Something I really appreciate about Lysandre’s character is that, even if his methods are horrible, you really can understand what his motivations are and the desperation behind his actions. Our resources are depleting and our population is exploding— while genocide certainly isn’t the answer, he is right. Something has to be done about the unsustainability we’ve created.
