Hi! You don't have to answer, but I just wanted to say I'm frikin obsessed with the 'summer ivan died' drawing. It brought back the memories of reading the shd manga and made me pick it again and ugggg the pain. The ivantill version is such an exquisite amount of angst especially if till didn't realize ivan's feelings until not-ivan confessed and I am screaming over here and sending you my therapy bill how dare you (I loved it you're amazing)

and yes it fits them very well doesnt it !! i was rereading the summer hikaru died a few weeks before r7 & thought that the desperate grief till is feeling after r6 would fit them especially well & fit into yoshiki's desperation in the beginning to keep some version of hikaru around even if what's in front of him isn't actually him. & 'hikaru' and ivan are sort of two peas in a pod arent they. well, 'hikaru's 'slightly weirder in this case since he's not even human to begin with & has otherworldly stuff going on. so, i guess i'd say both the ivan who's already dead & 'ivan' would be a tad different from the alnst ivan we know!

i have a lot to say abt this, especially with further developments in the manga that i dont want to spoil here since a lot of people seem to not have read it yet but plan to. but the aspect of till already having come face to face with the possibility of ivan being gone for good, making him cling on slightly tighter after he "reappears" & that reality being confirmed when 'ivan' reveals himself & plunging till into desperation... i think it's very fitting. & ive sort of always thought that since watching r6 & seeing till's scribbles of ivan's eye on the music sheets, it felt like a desperate struggle not to let him go or keep a part of him. ivan's death as the trigger for the realisation just how important he was to him is also something im a very big fan of. a reality check that's just too late
