This is your friendly reminder that Vash used up a MASSIVE chunk of his Plant power sheerly to express his insurmountable grief over losing Wolfwood, making the sky part open with a crack of thunder that shook the entire goddamn planet!!

Not only did he honor Wolfwood's memory by killing Legato to save his chosen baby brother (Livio) thereby putting aside Rem's teachings to pursue his own path, but he also honors Wolfwood by finally putting his hesitations aside to go after his brother Knives because THAT WAS ONE OF WOLFWOOD'S FINAL WISHES!!?!?!

AND THEN, he nearly blew another crater into No Man's Land and not-so-subtly threatened to kill Chapel to protect Wolfwood when he was critically injured after helping Vash escape!!!

Nobody else in the entire series understands Vash on such a deeply personal level except for Wolfwood!! BEYOND the whole Plants VS humans debacle, more like common struggle and solidarity and HEAVY self-deprecation/seeking attonement! The constant striving to be better and do better despite the status quo/narrative actively working against you!!

I can't stop thinking about their ADDICTIVE dynamic together. GAAAAARHGH!!!
