Creativity reflection

Throughout my CAS journey, I've engaged deeply in various creative pursuits, including crypto, photography, and cooking. One significant project I undertook was creating a series of digital artworks of my friends. Each piece aimed to provoke critical thinking and initiate conversations on the greatness and improvement of my photos. Through this process, I not only honed my technical skills but also developed a deeper understanding of the power of art as a tool for advocacy and change. Moreover, collaborating with my friends and exhibiting our work in community galleries allowed me to connect with diverse audiences and broaden my perspectives. Overall, my experience in the creativity strand has been transformative, fostering both personal growth and a sense of responsibility as a socially conscious artist.

Engaging in physical activities has been an integral part of my CAS journey, contributing significantly to my overall well-being and personal development. One particular activity that has had a profound impact on me is swimming. Beyond the physical challenges, swimming training has taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, resilience, and self-control. Through regular practice and participation in competitions, I've learned to push past my limits and overcome obstacles both on and off the mat. Moreover, being part of a supportive community of fellow practitioners has fostered a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect, enriching my overall experience. Whether it's mastering a new technique or supporting my teammates during tough times, swimming has instilled in me a sense of purpose and perseverance that extends far beyond the swimming pool.

Serving others has been a cornerstone of my CAS journey, providing me with countless opportunities to make a meaningful difference in my community. One particularly rewarding service project I undertook was volunteering at school activities. Through this experience, I had the privilege of working directly with individuals attending my school, and together helping out facility to become a better place for everyone. Beyond meeting its immediate needs, I also sought to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can feel valued and respected. Building relationships with the residents and hearing their stories opened my eyes to the complexities of school life and deepened my empathy and compassion for those experiencing hardship. Moreover, collaborating with fellow classmates and community organizations allowed me to leverage collective resources and maximize our impact. Overall, my experience in the service strand has been humbling yet immensely rewarding, reaffirming my commitment to serving others and effecting positive change in society.

For my service in February I went to fundacja ronalda mcdonalda as a volunteer. It was a great experience to help those in need. We wrote a letter to one of the patients as well as entertained them throughout the visit. It is always a pleasure to help and it boosts my well-being when I think that I had done something good for others.

Service 1 january:

In ja uary I helped to organise packages for Ukraine. As a class president I felt responsible for organising such an event and I mobilized my fellow classmates to collect food supplies and sanitary equipment. At my school I have friends who escaped the war in Ukraine and I am thankful that I can help their countrymen in the fight for their freedom. The whole process was difficult to organise and to find space to store the packages, however, together with other class presidents we managed to do so. It is always a great experience to help others and especially that our neighbours need it more than ever. I hope that I will be able to help in the future again and if needed organise another event for collecting goods for our neighbours.

Creativity february 1: photography

In february I started taking analog photos during parties with satisfactory results. At the very beginning I had no idea how to use this device, however, after a few tries I managed to figure it out. At first the photos taken were too bright and I had to change a few settings. With every photo taken I have been improving and everyone was satisfied with the photos I took of them and asked me to share it with them. I feel great with the new skill I learned and I am looking forward to take more of them in the future. I also noticed that with every photo taken my photographic vision improved. I was better at picking scenery and background to match the colours as well as pick pose for the models.

Creativity january 1&2: analysing cryptocurrency trends

In january I started analysing crypto currency trends to recognize patterns and eventually invest some capital to see if it is profitable. Lately I begun to analyse the cryptocurrency market to see if I will be able to study it. The currency “NEAR” has recently grown a lot and therefore this is why I picked it for the analysis. I found out that it is directly connected to the “HOT” mines that recently introduced themselves to the wider audience and more and more people mine it. In the few days there is a visible decline and raise in value of “NEAR” which can be seen as a pattern. After noticing it I will carefully look at its development and try to spot a time slot in which investing will be the most appropriate. analysing the market is directly connected with my studies choice so the creativity I chose for this month will have a positive impact on my general knowledge of investing and potentially help me with my future subjects.
