Redesigning Fallout Side-character Ocs

Corbin is meant to be an important side-character to Vance. Overall I hadn't really designed him because he's never meant to actually appear in anything he's only mentioned but that may change. (They are not romantically involved they were originally going to be involved but I scrapped that idea because it contradicted to Vance's prejudice feelings.)

Also, another little bit of information about this story but it's going to be told through a game. I'm still learning to use the program where the game will be created, and a lot of story development needs to be done before I even begin creating the game, but the process is quite fun :]

Two best friends and two background characters for my fallout story. They're the leaders of the current Los Muertos gang in Sin City (Underground city). There is a third leader, but these two were original members before they gave up their old ways and began allowing smoothskins to join their little gang. They also stopped practicing cannibalism which was what got them kicked out of the only ghoul settlement.

HYDE IS A WOMAN SHE'S JUST BUTCH!

I might develop them more but not much as they don't play a huge role in the story.

These are characters for a comic I'm currently planning out called "Ruby Carol." I got the name of the comic from the song Ruby Carol, which I chose for a specific reason. The story is about a transgender man in the late 1940s struggling to find normalcy in his life. Throughout the story many people he holds close mourn the person he used to be as they have romantacized someone he truly was not.

Judith Braun is the ex-lover prior to Sean Thomas transitioning. Their relationship ended on a bitter note but Judith still very much cares for Sean as they still frequently spend time with each other as friends.

I wish I could have posted many more things, but currently, I don't have access to my files on my pc as I'm working on my laptop for the time being.

I decided to finally draw something quick of how I want Kitty to look like in his childhood. He's 12 in the drawing but looks much younger due to the fact he is stunted when it comes to his growth due to malnutrition before getting into the care of his current parents.

It's so hard to imagine an old ghoul when he was still a kid.

It's been a long and extremely hot month. I've had very little time to draw much and focus on certain pieces, but I had time to doodle. Hopefully, once I settle in after I move I can get back to drawing!

Anyways I hope you enjoy this Francis doodle. In this post-apocalyptic world, you need a girl who can kill a death claw while you run for the hills.

I had a horrible week but I've been able to finish this piece to unwind. I've never used dialogue in any of my pieces so it looks pretty noobish. However, I am very pleased with how well my anatomy has improved especially when it comes to hands (they've always been a pain in my side). Here is some little lore to the piece: Cupid and Kitty are both around the same age but Kitty is 2 years older than Cupid however physically Kitty is older as he became a ghoul in his 60's. Also, Kitty looks more worn compared to Cupid due to Cupid's ghoulification being really slow compared to Kitty's which was a result of a nuclear bomb (he isn't pre-war). Last thing, Kitty really enjoys carbonated beverages.

Two complicated people that both run from their past and from their regrets without actually confronting anything that has occurred that continues to hold them back. Francis and Cupid both love each other, but they have never been in a relationship because despite the love they have for one another, they don't want the same things in life. They both struggle with relationships because they refuse to look back at the nastiness that holds each of them back. That's something common everyone that is a part of their Caravan shares.

I'm trying to improve my art a lot more. I'm taking a lot of advice from David Finch, who I look up to as an artist. I've been taking the time to slowly study some of his recommendations, so some of these figures are from the book How To Draw Comics The Marvel Way. Overall, I have found studying the pieces in the book a joy rather than just trying to draw poses from real-life images, which are difficult to break down, but this has given me a way to properly break things down much more easily!

Oh, and those dudes at the very bottom are just little doodles of this greaser gang for an underground city. They used to be primarily just made up of ghouls and were also cannibals but they changed their ways and are inclusive even to smoothskins now. (They are still in development)

Some art in a big art piece (fallout character related) using medieval styled art since the ghoul character that will be depicted in this piece wears stolen knight armor and rides a ghoul horse. He's a very eccentric pre-war ghoul I can't wait to show off!

Ordered him pretty early, and my package got delayed, but he is home.

Ignore my horrid attempts at taking photos I just wanted to capture details.

I will probably just keep him in the box until I can buy a display shelf for my junk, but for now, he will remain boxed up.

At least I have a physical reference to finally draw the ghoul.

Readers Digest

Volume 1 & 3

2 old books I have mostly chosen due to their illustrations. I have yet to read all the stories in these 2 books, but I enjoy staring at the illustrations as they provide me with inspiration as to what artstyle I'd like to develop.

I obtained one of the books from my local library for free and the other from a thrift store that I got for free as well. While neither are in perfect condition, their illustrations are still vibrant.

6'3" and 96 yrs old, he's a very charismatic fellow with a very mean resting face.

This piece was meant to be fully rendered, but I ran into roadblocks where I needed a different strategy in rendering as my current technique is sloppy and inconsistent. I will most likely return to this piece in the future, but by that time, I will most likely redraw the entire piece

Just reposting old art, fallout related

A list of characters waiting for a redesign. Some have received others butchered due to my indecisiveness. Currently, I am redesigning some of these characters for the 3rd or fourth time, but these are some of their forms I could find saved on my phone.

I'm planning to create a small rpg game with these characters on rpg maker for fun just so I can tell their story. Probably will take awhile before I am satisfied with the story, but it's just a little project I get to do to pass the time after lectures and hours of studying.
