How do people make sprite sheets??

Okay, I really hope this gets to the right people, I know this is probably a really dumb question, but I genuinely have no idea how people go from art to sheet for 2D games.

Is there a program? Do I just have to upload all my movements individually and pray everything lines up? Do I put all the drawings on to one canvas and hope nothing gets misaligned or be different sizes? I genuinely don't know

If anyone could give me a link or tell me or show me what I'm supposed to do, it would be a great help because I want to learn game development and feel at a loss at this one seemingly obvious thing.

I draw on procreate on my ipad so I can make sure the animation is smooth, the thing I'm at a loss for is just turning those drawings into sprite sheets that a program can use.

A guide to designing wheelchair using characters!

in my head, greg went to go find DJMM and tried to reboot the big guy to help him clear a path while he tracks down where cassie is underground (i turned "cassie never finding the big guy in the dlc" a set up in my head) while Vanessa tried activating the security nodes to get mxes back online again

I wanted freddy's claims that DJMM "is a friend" to pay off somewhere

oh and also freddy's head stays with Vanessa, but she connected him online to have access to the maps so he can help guide greg and keep in contact through the fazwatch
