Beta Spar: Gabe vs Jesse

N.B. This Beta spar was pre-determined. Hence there is no need for judging or tallying of points, it had been agreed beforehand that Jesse would be the winner.

Gabe stood in a small clearing, waiting in the woods for Jesse to show up. She couldn't technically refuse a spar even if she thought his challenge was unfounded. She'd just have to try her hardest to beat him. When he showed up, she stripped down to the sports bra she was wearing and some briefs. She didn't intend to fight in human form for long, but she knew she had to try and get as many hits in as possible before taking advantage of the second wind that would come with shifting. "Ready when you are." 18:41

Jesse It was the calmest he had felt since losing his position. A vague but unquestionably smug smile clung to his lips as he approached her. He shrugged his jacket off his shoulders and let it fall to the ground before yanking off his shirt with one fluid moment. He stopped a few feet away from her, beckoning at her with two fingers in mock encouragement. ”Ladies first.” 18:53

Jesse: *movement 18:54

Gabe didn't pay attention to his taunting. She mostly wanted to get this over with. Without wasting any time, she charged at him throwing an uppercut punch to his solar plexus before roundhouse kicking his head. Then, she would take advantage of his distraction to shift to her wolf form, charging right back at hi. 19:01

Jesse was more familiar with her fighting style now. They both had a better understanding of each other's strengths and weaknesses. He wasn't surprised when she ignored his arrogance and charged at him. The punch connected to his torso, forcing him to backpedal, his head snapping back when she kicked him. He shook his head, momentarily stunned. Seeing her shift made his own beast rush forward eagerly, but he had no intentions to shift yet. Anticipating her attack, he waited for her to get close enough before aiming a steel-toed kick at her face. 19:36

Gabe was surprised by the kick and stumbled back, shaking her head sneezing and snarling trying to make her head stop spinning 19:46

Jesse Taking advantage of her distracted state, he approached the female 'wolf again to kick her again more violently and with more force this time, his body twisting slightly sideways as he aimed his heavy boot at her flank. 19:52

Gabe hadn't had time to fully recover that she saw her opponent approaching. In an effort not to let herself be overpowered she leaped at him aiming to throw him off balance by landing on his torso. That attempt was in vain however, as her twisted out of the way and kicked her flank, the force of the hit combined with her being in mid air, throwing her to the ground. 19:56

Jesse She leaped at him but her movement was miscalculated, his foot connecting to her flank while she was in mid-air. She landed onto the forest floor and he didn't hesitate to attack her again while she was on the ground. Kicking at her underbelly, he threw himself onto the 'wolf, rolling on the cold ground to gain a dominant position. It didn't matter jack shit to him whether he was in his human body or his wolf form; whether he fought her with his teeth or bare hands, and he wanted Gabby to be aware of that. 20:05

Gabe tried snaking her body away from the second kick but was unable to avoid him falling on to her and she felt the air leave her lungs as he crushed her torso. In retaliation she lunged for his arm, open jawed trying to land a bite in to his forearm. 20:20

Jesse He felt the 'wolf's jaws close around his forearm, the bone under his flesh instantly crunching and crumbling at the pressure of her teeth. Jesse grunted and cursed, using his free hand to ball it into a fist, aiming a heavy, white-knuckled punch at her muzzle in an attempt to force her to let go while trying to keep the 'wolf pinned under him. 20:27

Gabe let go as soon as she saw the punch coming, avoiding the hit. She snarled and snapped at the air in warning and protest both, but was unable to do much else but squirm under the man's full weight. 20:40

Jesse Gabe released her hold, avoding the punch. Half-straddling the 'wolf, Jesse shifted his weight and tried to hook his long, muscular around her body and struggle to get back on his feet, his intention to drag the wolf up from the ground. 20:44

Jesse: arms* 20:47

Gabe tried wriggling in his arms in an attempt to slip away so that she could re-level the playing field, but there wasn't much she could do against his seemingly iron grip around her body. Twisting her neck she snapped at his arm once more as he lifted her in the air and she snarled, missing him by a hair's breadth. 20:53

Jesse A harsh grunt of effort escaped his mouth as he managed to get back on his feet, lifting her up slightly and tightening his hold at the same time, the muscles in his arms straining. With his arms wrapped around her midsection, Jesse gave her a rough pull in an attempt to break her ribs. 20:54

Gabe squealed out in pain as she felt her ribs crack, break and fracture. There was nothing she could do now, moving would probably be far too painful, let alone trying to fight back. Even in wolf form her pride was such that she took a long moment, even after going still before finally admitting defeat. 

Jesse His arms relaxed around her as soon as he felt her ribs break and splinter, eliciting a yelp of pain from Gabby. The sound reverberated throughout the clearing and by then he knew he had won. Jesse let her body fall onto the ground, his muscles contorting visibly beneath his skin as the animal in him finally took over. The male fell down to all fours, the fur on the back of his neck bristling as his muzzle wrinkled back in a dominant growl. He moved towards her, opening his jaws to bite her neck to exert his dominance, feeling the shift in their energies as soon as she submitted. Jesse drew the familiar energy back into his body, letting the power coalesce and settle back into his system. His growling faded as he approached the female, lowering his head to lick at her cheek, his ears tucking backward and a low whine escaping his throat...

Gabe  As he bit her neck she curled her lip for a brief instant before folding her ears back, and letting out a whine, going perfectly still in her position of submission. She hated the feeling of energy leaving her body, going back to Jesse, the very one she had so sorely won from him. The male came out the victor this time and Gabe? Well Gabe was the loser, and there was nothing she could do about that.
