I'm a sucker for something wholesome. Frank Watkinson is just singing songs his way and sharing them. I love that. I didn't grow up with my grandparents nearby and I'm sure I'm not the only one that grew up like that. So it always warms my heart when others share their elder charm to the public to connect with others.

Man... I love organization. Scott Yu-Jan is a maker who in this video 3D printed a slot for everything that lives in his desk drawer. As a the result, it’s aesthetically clean and solves such a specific pet peeve: a messy drawer. He primarily focuses on making physical products with his some incorporation of a 3D printer. I love his attention and commitment to details and how he leans into the look of “forever prototype.” Enjoy watching =)

Her name is Kariza. What I love about her channel is she’s documenting her current story, thoughtfully. She, like most of us, is lost in her 20s but it’s not just another vlog, she’s bringing in some cinematic and dramatic elements to her video journaling for a different type of production. She doesn’t post very often but I’m hoping she keeps at it. I can see her becoming a excellent storyteller through visual mediums.

When I was younger, I was a competitive dancer which meant performative makeup was a must. The weekly competition gave me the practice to become really good at makeup. As an adult, I wear way less make up now but I still enjoy doing others’ makeup. Since I’ve watched my fair share of makeup tutorials, I am often asked for tips and tricks for makeup. I certainly have my favorite beauty content creators (feel free to ask my favorites) but Jessica Vu definitely nailed the this beginner’s tutorial. She kept the video easy to follow and comprehensive. Plus, who doesn’t a video with clean editing, cultural references, plausible side by side comparisons, and tips that just makes sense??? Chef’s Kiss <3

As a watercolorist, I know the struggle of color matching. It’s hard! At a minimum, you must have a strong understanding of your primary colors. At a maximum, you must have a deep knowledge of color theory. I wish I had this YouTuber’s color matching confidence! What makes his video so satisfying is he doesn’t swatch his mixed paint during the progress. Instead, he waits until the end in application. Jealous.

If I were to judge the book cover, David looks like the kid to be chosen last for a dodgeball game in PE class but don’t underestimate the slender kid. This is what I love about the internet; it’s a place to prove the world wrong and offer a new perspective. He’s a fitness trainer who focuses on strength, mobility, and flexibility. His approach is accessible and on a sliding scale that fits to varying physical abilities. To top it off, he has a SOLID catch phrase: Stay Flexy :)

I think we naturally have a draw towards watching something we know takes a lot of time and patience. To achieve flawless stop motion, one must be meticulous and oh, Tomosteen is. Tomosteen is a stop motion artist whose medium are LEGOs! His videos are centric mostly around food made of legos but they’re whimsical and fairly representative of reality. It’s an easy watch and soothing ASMR. Happy Viewing!

My heart is incredibly full after watching this video. So wholesome! The creator is a man by the name of David who is an avid birdwatcher, story teller, nature photographer, drawer, and sculptor. He creates these figurines out of acorns and twigs and sets them up in nature to wait for the perfect interaction with a creature to shoot. His videos are of his journey of a particular vision he has for a photo shoot. What I love about his videos is he wholeheartedly cares about EVERY SINGLE STEP of the process. It’s truly beautiful to witness the patience he has for his craft. Happy viewing :)

Ms Yeah’s video of her making a legit yakitori spread with parts from a portable electric room heater is a prime example of why I love YouTube. I finished watching the video with so many questions. Is this real? If it is, how does she know how to use the deconstructed parts?! The weirdness kept a hold on my attention. And the rabbit hole begins…

I imagine that one day I will be a pretentious art lover who actually knows a lot about art history. I’m far from it. But! We have people like Art Deco who can tell me about it. Her voice is a soft velvet blanket. Every video she talks about one painting - the hidden meaning, the full story, and some perspective that makes you think. Don’t forget the sprinkle of wit. I feel like I’m attending an art history lecture at 7AM and haven’t nodded my head fighting to fall asleep. +A!

I chose this channel because I have a soft spot for architecture. I believe our environment really shapes who we are. Dami is a architect who nerds out about physical design but incorporates abstract ideas in an approachable way.
Enjoy viewing :)
