Diana shook her head, a small smile pulling on her lips at his words. ‘Worlds greatest detective’, she had to believe he truly knew why she was here and it certainly wasn't because of the city.

“Do you forget we’re friends? That maybe, when I can’t sleep, I would like to be in the presence of someone I care about and I chose you because I do, indeed, care about you. Also, I can almost always count on you to be up in the middle of the night.”

Diana leaned her arms on a ledge, letting her eyes take in the city before her, only glancing at him from her peripheral, “I’ll leave, if you want me to. I didn’t come out here to be a bother or to get in your way.”
